Chapter 719: Chapter 719: Who Else Do You Like
Arnold Simmons withdrew his gaze, looking at the soft white moonlight scattered all around, his voice was low and tender, "There are already many people who like you now."
The explosion of popularity from ’Fairy Maiden’ lifted Hannah’s popularity to new heights, whether it was her natural acting skills in the drama with the movie emperor Jackie Qualls, or her stunningly beautiful face, all of these became Hannah’s greatest appeal to her fans.
Just as she had once said, she would eventually stand at the pinnacle of the world, letting everyone see her beauty.
Arnold Simmons had personally brought her to this point, and he never doubted Hannah’s words, but as that day was approaching, he began to feel some regret.
A man of his nature, cold and detached, is at his most hurtful when he starts to develop feelings.
"Mr. Simmons, are you jealous?" she said, elongating her voice, leaning into the man’s ear, her voice soft and sweet like melted marshmallow, "That’s okay, you’re still my favorite."
She finished speaking, straightened up, covered her mouth and laughed, using her peripheral vision to sneak a glance at the man’s expression. Eyes filled with amorous feeling, playful and charming between eyebrows and eyes, trembling eyelashes containing shy.
Arnold Simmons looked over and felt a jolt in his heart, a feeling he never had before until he met her.
She lowered her eyes, her fair cheeks soft and tender like petals. She delicately reached out her hand to hook the man’s wide palm resting on one side, and she leaned her own body against the man’s shoulder.
Getting close, she deliberately let her warm breath, fragrant with a sweet perfume, reached the man’s lips.
The pupils of Arnold Simmons’ eyes thickened, warmth in his chest flowing with his blood. The heat was concentrated in one place, making his whole presence more dangerous.
"Mr. Simmons, let’s do something exciting," the girl said, her voice humming at the end with a languorous tone, as if she hadn’t noticed anything unusual.
She stretched out her soft small hand, her fingertips light as if they were a veil covered by the soft white moonlight, slipt down from the man’s forehead, and landed on his thin lips.
She savored the feeling, gently stroking his lips back and forth.
She had the pure intent of a cat that got a new toy, yet it’s alluring in the extreme.
Arnold Simmons indulged his lady becoming more and more bold, till he couldn’t stand it, he seized her little hand causing the mischief, bent down, close to her face as white as snow, his eyes were already losing focus.
However, he still held on to the last thread of his rational mind, his voice hoarse, "So you like me the most, or you just like me?"
Hannah looked up, innocence writ large in her eyes, her voice was soft, cute, and shy, the words she said almost made him lose his breath, "Like the most."
Arnold Simmons tightened his grasp, his gaze fell on her face as smooth as jade, his voice held an undercurrent of danger, "Like the most? Besides me, who else do you like?"
As it turned out, the stronger the person, the more exaggerated they were when jealous, somewhat relentless.
He thought, if he really did hear any other name from Hannah’s mouth, whoever it was, he wouldn’t stand down.
Hannah, seemingly oblivious, her eyelashes quivered, she started in a confiding voice, "I also like myself... my own face."
As she finished, she immediately pounced on the man, rubbing her head on his chest back and forth like a cat trying to act cute.
Arnold Simmons relaxed his knitted brows, the girl’s tender voice still echoing in his ear, it was amusing yet irritating, all he could see was a fluffy little head in his line of sight.
And a hand causing mischief on his chest.
In just a few short breaths, all the buttons on his shirt were undone, the delicate and cool touch almost made the man lose his composure instantly.
