Chapter 681: Chapter 681: I Want to Go

She pinched her eyebrows in exhaustion, and waved her hand to dismiss the assistant.

As the assistant left, he closed the door behind him and bumped into Louis Snyder who was staying at the same hotel.

But this young man, usually seen as gentle and well-mannered by others, was now sporting a cold face. His eyes were dark and heavy, frightening to look at.

The assistant was unsure whether to leave or not when he heard the young man’s cool voice, "Is Mr. Qualls not resting yet?"

The assistant nodded his head.

The young man seemed to chuckle, but his voice was cold, like a nighttime breeze.

Louis Snyder glanced at the closed door, a sneer spread on his face as if he had thought of something. He then turned and walked away.

"Really shameless of the old man to declare his affections like that."

He said this so softly that the assistant barely heard it, but it seemed that the behavior of celebrities in front of and behind the camera was drastically different.

When Louis returned to his room, Brother Davis was waiting for him on the sofa.

Before Davis could even say the prepared words, Louis interrupted him, "I want to be a guest on Hannah’s show."

Brother Davis was taken aback at first, then asked, "You mean the reality show where she’s raising a child?"

Davis was aware of that show, after all, with Hannah being the rising star, it’s hard not to get popular.

Moreover, Louis’s career was also advancing nicely. His good performances and gentle demeanor easily captured the hearts of lots of fans. He even earned the nickname "National Little Brother".

Davis was curious, "Why the sudden interest in being a guest on that reality show? You’ve declined all the other invitees from previous shows."

Reflecting on it, he felt it was a waste. Participating in variety shows at this stage could increase exposure and bring him closer to the fans. But Louis had always resisted, and Davis didn’t force him.

However, now that Louis brought it up, Davis found it quite odd.

Louis, burying his face in his hands, simply said, "Because I want to."

Since Louis said it, Davis naturally couldn’t refuse, "It’s not impossible for you to go, but I haven’t heard that they’re looking for guests on her show. Besides, it’s the program that usually invites guests, not the other way around. If we actively seek to be on the show now, it may seem a bit overeager."

Louis sat on the sofa, hugging his knees, his eyes downcast and tone heavy, "I want to go."

Having spent some time with the young man, Davis had a clear understanding of his character. Louis looked harmless, but once he made up his mind, he was more stubborn than anyone else. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

Without other options, Davis could only use his connections to find out more.

When Davis returned, he looked more serious than before and was puzzled, "It’s strange. It’s just an online variety show. Why is everyone scrambling to be a guest?"

Louis lifted his head and asked, "Who else is going?"

Davis replied, "Hayes Edwards and Jackie Qualls."

He continued, "It’s really something to see an acclaimed actor like Jackie Qualls, chasing his love so determinedly. He even chased her to the production crew, as if he was afraid others wouldn’t know he confessed to her. And I don’t understand why Hayes Edwards is joining this madness."

The public has widely known that Jackie Qualls confessed his feelings to Hannah.
