Chapter 680: Chapter 680: But I Only Have You

But now, this stand-in had become her biggest threat.

She absolutely couldn’t let Hannah Winter take George River away from her.

This was her last chance.

George stopped talking, simply withdrawing his hand, his heart filled with irritation.

Was he unable to forget?

During the initial period after they separated, that woman haunted his dreams like a succubus, appearing at his feet every day, crying and begging him not to leave her.

At first, he was just annoyed, even thinking he hadn’t been harsh enough - otherwise, why would that woman dare to invade his dreams every day?

But later, when he saw her standing in front of him in a cheongsam, talking and laughing with others with an unprecedented grace and gentleness, the scenes in his dreams completely changed.

He had once detested her to the extent that even seeing her in his dreams irritated him. But now, he wished he could meet her in his dreams day and night, listening to her soft whispers.

Seeing George silent, Tiffany Lynch’s tears increased, and she grasped her hand tightly, lowering her posture, "George, tell me, do you love her?"

She asked this question, but was confident that the man would not easily say it.

As expected, George remained unresponsive, just looking at Tiffany’s tear-streaked face, extending a tissue to her with a sigh, "Stop crying."

Tiffany forced a smile but didn’t take the tissue from his hand. Instead, she pressed her face into his.

George paused, but still, remembering old affections, he wiped the tears from Tiffany’s eyes, "I’ve never forgotten the past."

Tiffany responded, "But you also can’t forget her, right?"

George remained silent and tossed the tissue.

Tiffany was dissatisfied, "George, she has many who love her, but I only have you."

Jackie Qualls loved her to the point of openly expressing his feelings, risking his fans and future, even Louis Snyder, a cool model, protected her again and again.

She had already lost enough to Hannah.

Looking at the man in front of her, soft like a fragile white flower about to be blown away by the wind and rain, her eyes were filled with affection, expressing her love.

George sighed, holding her close, murmuring a low, "I’m sorry."

Sorry for what?

Tiffany held onto George’s waist tightly, choking back sobs, her eyes cold.

Half a month had already passed, but Teresa Gordon still didn’t seem to want to find resources for Tiffany.

Although neither Tiffany nor George mentioned anything about breaking up, Tiffany knew that George’s heart was leaning towards Hannah.

Even so, she didn’t make a scene. As always, she casually let George know her current situation, making him feel guilty and helping her with lots of resources.

Although it was not as good as Hannah’s, at least it was a start.

Not only George, but Jackie and Louis were also paying close attention to Hannah’s situation.

After ensuring that the letter had been delivered, Jackie called his assistant, "Did she react in any way after receiving the letter?"

The assistant was hesitant, saying gently, "The letter was delivered, but the signal in the mountains is poor, so it might take a while to know the situation."

Jackie lowered his head and looked at his phone, lingering over Hannah’s chat window.

After contemplating for a while, he still didn’t send the message.
