Chapter 458: Chapter 458: I’m Not Crazy
Besides the three of them, there were two other team members, who were also from Class D and good friends with Sunny Lee.
However, they had an advertisement shoot scheduled for today, so they didn’t come. They weren’t yet aware of this news.
Lucy Taylor sensed that there was little chance of reversing this situation. This was her first time being pushed around so degradingly. Even the strongest person would feel like crying, knowing that in three days they would have to perform on stage without even having a song.
She had teary eyes and her voice was hoarse. She turned to Hannah and said, "You’re talented, aren’t you? So what are we supposed to do about this? Do you really expect us to perform a song someone else has sung before? I don’t want to be laughed at on stage."
Sunny Lee also wiped her tears.
Where could they find a new song in just three days?
She was just a trainee from a small agency. It was said that copyright for a song could cost hundreds of thousands, and if they changed the song, she would have to bear the cost herself. Her agency would not agree to this.
Not just Sunny’s agency, even if Lucy called Flourishing now, it may not help.
Hannah handed tissues to the two girls with teary eyes, "Why are you crying? We still have time, don’t we?"
Lucy choked up, "There’s only three days left. We’re running out of time."
Hannah still appeared calm and collected, "Who says we’re running out of time?"
Lucy was dumbfounded, "What do you mean? Are you really going to write a song yourself?"
Even if she was, how could it be done in three days?
Meeting Lucy’s stunned gaze, Hannah nodded, "Yes, write it ourselves. You said you don’t want to sing songs others have performed, right? Then let’s write one."
Lucy blinked, reached out to touch Hannah’s forehead, "Have you gone mad? With only three days left, we wouldn’t even have time to write a nursery rhyme."
Hannah sneered and batted away Lucy’s hand, "I’m not crazy, I’m serious, I’ll write it myself."
Lucy still couldn’t believe it. She thought she must have misheard, so she turned to Sunny Lee.
"Did Hannah just say that she’s going to write a song herself?"
As Hannah’s loyal fan, Sunny Lee trusted her idol completely, her tone full of reliance. "Hannah said that she will write the song. I believe her."
Lucy almost fell over.
She glanced at the producer who had already slipped to the door, not hesitating to rush to him and grab his collar.
"Look at what you’ve done! A perfectly fine person is being driven crazy! Out with it! Who paid you to target us this way? Tiffany Lynch, right? I knew she was bad news!"
A prestigious show producer being roughed up by a trainee was a bad look.
Just as he was about to fire up and demand Lucy to let go, he met Hannah’s smiling eyes in the distance, swallowing his words.
He dared to try small tricks, but when directly faced with them, he chickened out.
Hannah stepped forward, releasing Lucy’s grip from the producer’s collar, "Don’t lose your head, I said I’ll write it and I mean it. Can you trust me just this once?"
Those eyes, as clear as sparkling lakes, had a hint of mirth.
A simple sentence, which might seem rather presumptuous when spoken aloud.
How could a person with no background be able to write a song in just three days?
However, Hannah’s words inexplicably calmed Lucy Taylor down. She nodded subconsciously, choosing to believe in Hannah.
Hannah then turned to Sunny Lee.
Of course, Sunny Lee raised both hands in agreement.
She blindly believed in any decision made by Hannah.
Only after seeing that Hannah was satisfied did she turn to look at the disheveled producer standing to the side.
