Chapter 459: Chapter 459: Write It Yourself

She spoke unhurriedly, "Tell someone when you get back that even though their methods are still somewhat underhanded, they’ve improved from before. I look forward to their next move. Don’t disappoint me."

Lucy Taylor and Sunny Lee were completely befuddled.

The producer, reduced to a nervous mess and weak in the knees, would have collapsed if he hadn’t been leaning on a door. He forced a smile, "I don’t understand what you’re saying. This time, it was truly an accident. To compensate, I’ll arrange a separate commercial shoot for your group. Will that suffice?"

A slap, then a date.

Lucy retorted coldly, "Who cares about your commercial shoot!"

Hannah shook her head, "Whether you understand or not is irrelevant. You’re a smart man. Since you’re already acting as a lackey, you won’t mind being the messenger."

The producer bowed and hastily left the room.

Making money is tough!

Even after he’d left for quite a while, Lucy still couldn’t help cursing.

She glanced at Hannah, who was unwrapping a lollipop and bearing a serious expression, "Are you really planning to write your own song?"

Hannah nodded, "Yes, why?"

Lucy asked another question, "Do you know how?"

Hannah looked at her, calm and serious, as if considering the question.

But she said: "No."

This time, Lucy didn’t get angry, just stood up.

As she reached for the doorknob, Hannah stopped her suddenly, "Where are you going?"

Without turning around, with a hint of a sob in her voice yet holding back tears, she replied, "I’m just going to call our company, see if we can use songs from our seniors. Although we’re an acting company, some of our seniors have made albums. Though the songs might not be suitable for this stage, it’s better than having none at all."

Hannah sighed behind her, "Why don’t you trust me?"

Lucy turned around, her eyes reddening, "It’s not that I don’t trust you; I cherish every chance to stand on stage. I’m competitive, and I don’t want to lose to anyone."

After a long silence, Hannah added, "But you’ve lost to me many times."

Lucy: "..."

Hannah continued, counting on her fingers, "You even lost to Tiffany Lynch once. In the first rankings, you were third and she was second."

Sunny Lee was the first to crack and burst out laughing.

She quickly covered her mouth and turned away.

Lucy, who had been about to burst into tears, couldn’t help but let out a stifled laugh, and her tears started to flow.

"Hannah Winter, I’m not joking with you!"

She screamed and lunged at her.

Even though she was heartbroken, Hannah Winter was still able to tease her!

It really enraged her!

Even for professional singers, writing a song in three days is challenging.

After all, songwriting requires inspiration, and if the inspiration comes, you might be able to write several songs in three days.

But if there’s no inspiration, you might not be able to write a single song even given three years.

Not to mention, that within three days, they not only have to write a song, but also choreograph and rehearse it. This is nothing short of a tall tale.

So, when James Landon learned about this, he couldn’t help but frown, "Is Hannah really planning to write her own song?"

The assistant next to him nodded, "Yes, I heard there are copyright issues with the song they were planning to perform. If they don’t write their own song, they would have to choose a song previously performed by others."

This is definitely a big disadvantage for a group competition.

James Landon naturally understood this, that’s why he was skeptical, "Shouldn’t the copyright of the songs be settled before the show starts?"
