Chapter 394: Chapter 394: Crying for Beauty

Hannah alternated between leaning in close to examine and holding it out to scrutinize, seemingly absorbed in her little world.

George River couldn’t help but chuckle, shaking his head in resignation.

Tiffany Lynch, who was in the middle of conversation, turned towards the source of the laughter in feigned surprise, "George, what are you laughing about?"

George River snapped back to reality, the smile on his face receding slightly as he shook his head, "Nothing."

His eyes, when fully focused on another person, seem to contain a world of tenderness. A single glance was like a warm spring breeze blowing into your heart, earnest and deep.

Tiffany Lynch met the man’s deep black eyes, blushing again as she lowered her head and continued, "George, actually, I already understand. As an actress, the most important thing is to follow the director’s instructions. To ensure smooth filming, I don’t mind anything. It doesn’t matter who stands in the central position, I’m just..."

She paused, her eyes welling up with tears, forcing a smile, "...I’m just worried that my fans will be heartbroken. After all, they put me in the top position, but I couldn’t satisfy them, George.... did you hear that?"

Tiffany Lynch made great efforts to evoke an emotional response, attempting to look pitiful, but she found that George River hadn’t even been looking at her.

Following his gaze, she found it fixed on where Hannah was.

Tiffany Lynch was both angry and frustrated, her face turning pale, she gritted her teeth as if she could crush her sleeve.

George River didn’t seem to have recovered yet, responding to Tiffany Lynch’s words with only a vague acknowledgement.

Perhaps their gaze was too intense, Hannah looked up.

Lucy Taylor on the side felt somewhat puzzled, "Why do they keep looking at you?"

Hannah chuckled, touching her delicate, porcelain-like face in the mirror, the texture felt like tofu, "Probably because I am beautiful."

She turned her head, her long, curled eyelashes quivered, her eyes glowed with a twinkling light, a smile spreading across her face. The porcelain face with rosy cheeks, swaying under the peach blossoms, appeared particularly attractive and enchanting.

Lucy Taylor looked away, unable to help herself from muttering, "Such a narcissist."

"Of course, because I’m beautiful." 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Hannah gave Lucy Taylor a wink, put away her mirror and walked towards where Tiffany Lynch and George River were.

Lucy Taylor knew George River’s identity and the relationship between him and Tiffany Lynch. When she saw Hannah heading straight towards them, she hurriedly went after her, worrying that Hannah’s words would offend someone again.

Tear drops still lingered on Tiffany Lynch’s face, she looked as delicate as a trembling little white flower. Seeing Hannah coming over, she hastily held George River’s hand, her previously arrogant demeanor was gone.

George River found Tiffany Lynch’s sudden change odd, but instinctively protected her, blocking Hannah.

Hannah didn’t mind,"Miss Lynch has been crying."

She touched her face again, looking seriously at Tiffany Lynch,"Could it be because of my beauty that you cried?"

Tiffany Lynch tightened her grip on George River’s hand, raised her tear-filled eyes, and forced a smile,"Hannah, you are already the center of attention, why do you need to say these things to me, are you deliberately making things difficult for me?"

The weak Little White trying to appear strong was incredibly attractive.

Even George River, whose gaze had been on Hannah all the while, frowned unsatisfactorily at these words, with a look of displeasure at Hannah.
