Chapter 33: NASM: Chapter 33
"Excuse me, your food is here!" the waitress announced as Uzumaki Hiroshi and Harumiko finished their drinks.
"Thank you," Harumiko said, smiling as the waitress placed the dishes on the table. "You can leave it here."
The waitress smiled and left the room. "Enjoy your meal!"
"Wow, it smells amazing! This is my first time at this yakiniku restaurant. I don’t know how it tastes, but it smells delicious! Let’s dig in!" Uzumaki Hiroshi said, smiling at the aroma.
Harumiko nodded, and they both picked up their chopsticks and began to eat.
"As expected, the food is delicious! I’m adding this place to my favorites. We should come back here again," Harumiko said, after trying several dishes.
Uzumaki Hiroshi nodded. "Sounds good."
They ate and chatted for a long time. In the end, Harumiko was still slightly hungry, but she didn’t show it.
"Okay, I’m full. Are you, Harumiko?" Uzumaki Hiroshi asked, wiping his mouth with a napkin.
Harumiko paused for a few seconds. "Yeah, me too! The food was really good, and the portions were generous."
Uzumaki Hiroshi didn’t suspect anything and nodded.
"Okay, wait here; I’ll go pay the bill," he said, standing up and leaving the room.
Harumiko watched him go to the counter.
Ugh, this is so frustrating. I’m still hungry, but I said I was full. Oh well, I’ll eat something else when I get home!
I can’t let him see how much I really eat! Harumiko thought, watching Uzumaki Hiroshi pay the bill.
Soon, he returned to the room. "Harumiko, here. The restaurant gave us this complimentary dessert since it was our first time here.
You eat it; I’m full." He placed a plate of small desserts in front of her.
"Really? Then I won’t be shy!" Harumiko said, picking up her chopsticks and eating the dessert.
Uzumaki Hiroshi watched her, smiling. Silly girl, she’s still hungry, but she said she’s full, he thought.
