"I’m really impressed that you can eat so much and still maintain such a perfect figure. That’s amazing," Uzumaki Hiroshi thought, watching Harumiko enjoy the dessert.
He’d known she wasn’t full when he asked. Her hesitation had given it away, which is why he’d bought the dessert at the counter.
Uzumaki Hiroshi had excellent observation skills and empathy.
"Okay, okay, don’t eat so fast. You’ve already eaten a lot. Slow down. No one’s taking your food," Uzumaki Hiroshi said gently as he saw her eating quickly.
Harumiko blushed and slowed down.
Oh dear, I’m so focused on eating that I haven’t noticed Hiroshi is here. This is so embarrassing! I hope he doesn’t mind!* she thought, lowering her head.
After a moment, she looked up, blushing. "Sorry, Hiroshi. I got carried away. The dessert is so good, and I forgot my manners. That was embarrassing."
"No, no, it’s cute the way you eat," Uzumaki Hiroshi said, smiling.
Harumiko blushed even more intensely at his compliment.
She lowered her head and continued eating, this time much slower.
"Ding! Host showed empathy and consideration for the girl. Reward: 100 gold coins, Charm +2."
"That system is so playful," Uzumaki Hiroshi thought.
He watched Harumiko for a moment, then turned to look out the window at the street.
Honestly, I really like this girl. I’m determined to make her my wife. In my past life, I couldn’t find a beautiful girl.
But this time is different. I’ll protect her and make sure nothing bad happens to her, he thought, watching the flow of people outside.
Harumiko was undeniably cute, always dressed nicely, with a great figure—curvy in all the right places, without an ounce of excess fat.
Her big eyes, delicate face, and pointed chin gave her an innocent and pure look. If Uzumaki Hiroshi didn’t like her, he’d be a hopeless romantic.
