"Hello, I’d like a bottle of milk and a bottle of juice," Uzumaki Hiroshi said to the waitress at the counter, smiling.
The waitress smiled and nodded, turning to get a bottle of milk and a bottle of juice.
"Here’s your milk and juice," she said politely.
Uzumaki Hiroshi nodded and said, "Thank you."
He returned to their private room with the drinks.
"Harumiko, I don’t know what you usually drink, so I got milk and juice. You can choose, and I’ll have whatever’s left," Uzumaki Hiroshi said, placing the drinks on the table and sitting down.
"Thanks, Hiroshi. I’ll just have the milk. I rarely drink other beverages," Harumiko said, smiling and nodding.
Then, she remembered something. "Hey, Hiroshi, we start school the day after tomorrow, right? Staying home has been so boring. I’m looking forward to going back to school."
Uzumaki Hiroshi nodded. "That’s right. We start school the day after tomorrow."
"Hiroshi... are you really not scared to go back to school? Have you gotten over what happened? I’m not trying to pry," Harumiko said worriedly.
Uzumaki Hiroshi remembered being mocked and bullied at school, and his brow furrowed slightly.
"Don’t worry, Harumiko. This time, it’ll be different! No one will bully me again. I’ll make those who bullied me pay. Just wait and see me shine at school," he said confidently. He had the system, after all.
If he were still bullied, he’d be a complete failure. He had a cheat code, and he wouldn’t let this opportunity slip away.
Seeing his determined expression, Harumiko was happy. She hadn’t seen him this confident in a long time.
"Okay, I’ll be waiting to see you shine at school. I believe you. You’re someone I can trust. Cheers!" Harumiko said, smiling.
"Cheers!"
Uzumaki Hiroshi raised his juice, and Harumiko raised her milk. They clinked glasses and drank. They were quite the pair.
