Chapter 149: Chapter 149: Unworthy
The others heard this and started to jeer.
"Give me a break. If Young Master He really got tired of her, what fun would be left? We brothers prefer a rose with thorns, not some spiritless mutt."
"Yeah, look at her. I wonder how long she can last. Why don’t we... join Mr. He? It’s more fun with more people."
...
A group of men sized Chi Wan up like a piece of merchandise, their words completely unfiltered. After all, any girl who ended up here, whether willingly or by force, could never escape their grasp. There was no need to consider her feelings when they spoke.
After passing through those security gates, Chi Wan had already released several of Li Xingye’s slender vines. Equipped with special micro-cameras, they would find suitable angles on their own and begin their work.
Therefore, despite being disgusted by the scum’s comments, Chi Wan’s face showed little alarm.
This, however, only made the men more excited.
Meanwhile, He Lingfeng, who was in the middle of the crowd, hadn’t said a word as he listened to the others humiliate Chi Wan. Instead, he sipped his drink, a smile playing on his lips as he stared at her face, seemingly hoping to see an expression that would satisfy him.
But to his disappointment, Chi Wan simply stared at him coldly, her face devoid of the fear and trembling he had anticipated.
He Lingfeng’s smile turned sinister as he tightened his grip on the glass in his hand.
He loathed the way Chi Wan always looked at him, as if he were some piece of trash not even worth a second glance.
Not worthy of fear, not worthy of acknowledgment, not even worthy of a moment of her thoughts.
Just like now.
She was clearly completely in his grasp, yet the look she gave him remained utterly unwavering, holding nothing but the same disgust she’d had from the very beginning.
’Chi Wan, do you really look down on me that much?!’
He Lingfeng drained his glass, tossed it behind him, and sneered, "What’s the hurry? Everyone gets a piece. You guys don’t know—Miss Chi is extremely arrogant. With just a few people, I’m afraid we won’t be able to satisfy her."
The others laughed with a tacit understanding. "She’s plenty arrogant, all right. Hope she can keep it up for a while. That’s what makes it exciting."
"Just don’t go begging for mercy after a few minutes. If we don’t have our fun, Mr. He will get angry."
Chi Wan had no desire to stand here listening to their crude jokes. She just wanted to get the evidence as quickly as possible.
So, she let a small, almost provocative smile touch her lips. "What’s wrong, He Lingfeng? Did the last slap not wake you up? It’s no wonder. You’re a useless piece of trash without the He Family behind you. All you can do is run your mouth, which makes you no different from a stray dog.
"Getting called ’Mr. He’ a few times by this pack of sycophants—who are even more worthless than trash—has you thinking you’re actually someone? You only know how to play dirty tricks. Why don’t you bring your faces over here? I guarantee I’ll give you all a good, hard slap."
The moment her words fell, the previously boisterous room fell dead silent.
Everyone was too stunned to even care that they had been insulted too. They secretly glanced at He Lingfeng’s expression, terrified he would fly into a rage and wreck the place.
Who there didn’t know what He Lingfeng was capable of? Though they had "played" with many women together, their banter with He Lingfeng always involved stroking his ego. When had they ever seen someone like Chi Wan, who, despite being trapped, dared to go for an all-out, in-your-face attack?
They didn’t know whether to call her incredibly bold and fearless or just boundlessly stupid.
But seeing that He Lingfeng didn’t immediately fly into a rage, they became a little unsure of what Chi Wan’s deal was.
One man, who considered himself on pretty good terms with He Lingfeng, ventured carefully, "Mr. He, this girl’s so fiery. Don’t tell me you’re the one who spoiled her like this?"
The others, as if having instantly found a reasonable explanation, chimed in with agreement.
He Lingfeng felt he should be angry. But for some reason, watching Chi Wan stare him down as she spoke, he found himself in a surprisingly good mood.
With a derisive laugh, He Lingfeng slowly approached Chi Wan and gripped her chin. "Chi Wan, have you still not figured out the situation? Did you think I’m some sanctimonious idiot like Zhou Huaijin or Xiahou Yu? That I brought you here to play some innocent game of love?"
But Chi Wan just raised an eyebrow at him, a brilliant smile appearing on her face for the first time. "Of course not. After all, Young Master He’s illegal methods—driving people to bankruptcy or even shipping them off to Myanmar North at the slightest disagreement—are skills others could never hope to learn."
He Lingfeng acted as if he hadn’t heard her. Instead, he subconsciously caressed Chi Wan’s smooth face, his gaze fixed on the smile at the corner of her lips, and said slowly, "Actually, if you had just been obedient, I wouldn’t have had to resort to these methods..."
The rest of his sentence was cut short by a slap, followed by the crowd’s gasps of shock.
Chi Wan sneered, "Am I supposed to thank you?"
"Mr. He?!" The man who had been acting as He Lingfeng’s yes-man rushed forward at the sight. It seemed that with a single word from He Lingfeng, he would cripple Chi Wan on the spot.
But He Lingfeng simply pushed his tongue against the inside of his slapped cheek and actually laughed. "Chi Wan, I suddenly can’t bear to send you away. I’m going to strip you naked, chain you up at my front door, and only feed you after you’ve learned to wag your tail."
With that, he shot a look to the side.
Soon, two men in black came over, restrained Chi Wan, and led her toward a small building nearby.
He Lingfeng said to the others, "You guys have fun. I’m going to teach Miss Chi how to be a good dog first. Then I’ll bring her out for you all to have a taste."
The others finally breathed a sigh of relief. Hearing this, they said suggestively, "Mr. He really knows how to spice things up. Just remember to share the details of the process later so we can all learn a thing or two, hahaha."
As he walked inside, He Lingfeng replied lazily, "Don’t worry. I guarantee you’ll all get a good look and a good lesson."
After He Lingfeng left, the others resumed their previous debauchery.
The scene only grew more depraved, especially after they started using the "surprises" He Lingfeng had prepared for them. Everyone began to lose themselves.
Moans and howls, some of excitement, some of pain, filled the air, like animals in heat.
Meanwhile, Chi Wan was thrown into a dark room, her hands and feet bound.
Under the dim light, the wall full of torture instruments exuded an invisible sense of oppression. Seeing Chi Wan unable to struggle, forced to lie on the rug glaring up at him, He Lingfeng felt an unprecedented rush of excitement.
Catching sight of the men in black exiting the room and considerately closing the door behind them, Chi Wan felt quite satisfied herself.
He Lingfeng reached out, took a leather whip from the wall, his voice trembling with irrepressible excitement. "Oh, Chi Wan... you have to hold on for a while. The mere thought of your beautiful screams in a moment... it makes me..."
Chi Wan rubbed her slightly sore wrists. As He Lingfeng stared in a daze, she took the whip—now being offered to her by a vine—and gave it a light flick. Then, with a curious expression, she asked him, "What beautiful screams? Do you mean... like this?"
And with that, she brought the whip down without a shred of mercy on He Lingfeng, who was now bound tightly by the vines, his mouth sealed shut!
