Chapter 696: *One each*
Maya then looked at her, recalling the power that Kevin and Axel used back then when they were still in the cave after they had saved them, and indeed, they could probably pass to the 10th level.
Inside the tower, Kevin and Axel, thanks to Willow’s powerful psychic power, had passed the 7th level without any problems.
Axel, now that he had merged his two consciousnesses, would have preferred to try to break this nightmare by his own means, but Kevin was right; they were just there to test this tower, and they would have time to train later inside one of them if the next levels were also worth it.
Axel could feel that Willow was a little bit disappointed, so he said to her, "It’s fine if you can’t train your psychic power here. It is already way stronger than mine or even Kevin’s psychic powers, so you should focus more on other training first."
Willow nodded, still a little bit disappointed, and then Kevin said to her, caressing her hair, "Don’t be sad, sweetie. I will ask your Grandpas if they know someone who can train you to launch psychic attacks. After all, with your power, these attacks could help us a lot during a battle; it could buy us time to do a maximum amount of damage."
Axel then looked at Kevin and then at Willow, and indeed, he never thought that they could use Willow’s psychic powers to launch attacks.
Willow also seemed to only now realize that she could use her power in this way, and her mood improved a lot after that. They all went to put their pass on the silver stone and discovered that in order to enter the next level, they needed to have an energy reserve of a minimum of 40,000 points.
They could rest on the third floor before entering the 8th floor, but they weren’t tired at all since Willow had helped them break their nightmares rapidly.
So they opened the door, and once closed, they received the next message. This floor was to test their abilities, and they could choose to do the test individually or all together.
But if they chose to test their abilities as a group, the creatures they would have to face would be based on Axel’s level since he was the strongest among them. Fortunately, Axel’s basic power, without using the power contained in his Runes, was only at God level 5.
Willow, with all the meditation she had done so far and thanks to the magic beast meat she had eaten to strengthen her body, was already at God level 3.
Kevin, while using his Stage 2, wasn’t far from Axel’s basic power, so even if the creatures they had to face were based on Axel’s power, it wouldn’t be a problem for them. So they chose to fight as a group since Axel and Kevin weren’t ready to let their baby girl fight alone, and so the test of the 8th level began at once.
Three holographic Gods suddenly appeared in front of them, and they were all at God level 5.
Above their heads, a life bar appeared, and a timer, as well as a countdown, were also displayed on the ceiling; the timer was set for one hour, and if they couldn’t kill them in one hour, they would be expelled from the tower.
As for the countdown, they had 30 seconds to prepare themselves, and suddenly, the space of the room also changed, becoming larger. They could now fight in a space as large as the training ground they had at the Sun Sect.
Kevin’s smile widened when he saw that and said to Willow, looking at the golden chain that was around her neck and that never left her, "You can use the daggers that Grandpa gave you, and you can also use your Sacred fire energy."
Axel then added, "Don’t forget to use all your potential. Use the wind element to move faster, and don’t forget that you can also use the Divine energy to fight."
Willow smiled; she couldn’t believe that her Daddies were letting her fight, so she would do her best. Their opponents were all stronger than her, but with the Sacred Fire energy, she still had enough power to defeat them.
Now she just had to find the right time to strike. Kevin then told her, "Remember, the best way to kill them is to behead them or destroy their energy reserves; otherwise, no matter how much damage you try to inflict on them, their bodies will always regenerate."
Willow nodded; the runic symbols on her wings started to shine, and she conjured up the Divine grade daggers that Mykael had given her.
Axel let her go, and Willow positioned herself between Axel and Kevin. Kevin then said just when the countdown was about to end, "One each, and Willow, do your best, sweetie. We will intervene only if you need us."
It was hard for Kevin and Axel to accept that Willow was strong enough to fight against such opponents, but for her to get even stronger, they didn’t have a choice, and they had to let her fight.
These fight simulations were a great opportunity for her, and moreover, they were there to look after her, so everything would be fine.
As soon as the countdown was over, all three of them dashed toward their opponents, and Axel only had to use his speed, strength, and his Divine sword to fight against the God level 5 that he chose to face.
He didn’t even use the power contained in his tattoos, and he only used his basic power to fight against him.
Kevin, on the other hand, used his Chains of Restraint and created two short swords with the golden particles, and Willow, following her Daddies’ advice, used the wind particles to increase her speed.
She sent the Divine energy into the blades of her daggers, which were now shining brightly, blinding the God she was fighting against.
