Chapter 697: *Game over!*
Willow also used her Sacred Fire energy, which was wrapping itself around her body like a snake, ready to strike at any moment. She was just waiting for an opportunity to present itself to use it.
Axel and Kevin killed their opponents very quickly, and after that, they watched Willow, who was following their advice to the letter. This God couldn’t approach her since she was protected by her Sacred Fire energy, and Willow was using her daggers to make cuts on his skin.
Even though these Gods were just holographs, this simulation was very fair, and so the cuts that Willow was making on it took into account that the blades of her daggers were filled with golden particles.
Thus, the life bar of Willow’s opponent started to diminish rapidly. As the golden particles spread into his body. The fake God that Willow was fighting against started to slow down, and finally, Willow got the opportunity she was waiting for and pierced his energy reserve with her Sacred Fire energy.
"Game over!" thought Kevin.
A few seconds later, the last hologram disappeared, and they all received the same message. They could all pass to the 9th level if they possessed an energy reserve of 50,000 points and, just like the last levels, they could choose to rest on the third floor first before going to the 9th floor.
Kevin then conjured up a Legendary-grade healing potion for Willow in order for her to be at the maximum of her potential, and he said to her after she drank the potion, "Baby girl, you did a great job here, but the next room will be harder than this one. Are you ready?"
Willow then nodded, and Axel really wondered if Kevin was asking this question for Willow’s sake or if it was instead to prepare themselves, since Axel wasn’t sure anymore if he was okay with Willow fighting alone in the next room.
Kevin then took Axel’s hand in his and said to him through their link, "Look at her; she is so determined to prove herself. I can’t bear to tell her that it is too risky."
Axel then kissed his hand and said still through their link, "Okay, let’s first see what we will have to face in the next room."
Kevin nodded slightly, kissing his lips, and they joined Willow, who was already waiting for them close to the silver stone to enter the 9th level.
They all put their passes on it, and the door to the 9th floor opened.
Once inside, like on the 8th floor, it was a floor to test their abilities, but not just that. This time, this trial would also test their willpower, and they could also choose to do it individually or in a group with the same rules as on the 8th floor. So if they chose to do it in a group, the level of difficulty would be set using Axel’s level.
They still chose to fight in a group since it was out of the question for Willow to pass this test alone, and this time the timer was set for 2 hours with a countdown of 1 minute.
Their opponents started to appear one by one, and this time there were three Gods of God level 7 and six Gods of God level 4. The space changed again and became large enough to fight, and Willow then looked at her Daddies, waiting for their orders.
Axel then looked at Kevin and said to him, "You decide; Willow and I will follow your orders."
Kevin was the best one to plan a battle in a very short time, and Axel trusted him completely. Kevin then told them, "Axel, you go take care of the stronger ones, and this time use your power; don’t hold back anymore. Willow and I will fight together under the protection of the Chains of Restraint."
Willow then looked at Kevin, and he told her, "Sweetie, there are too many of them. Your Dad is fast and strong enough to face them, but we are not, and I don’t want to use my Stage 3 yet."
He then added, "But do not worry; you will still be able to fight them using the spiritual and Divine energy. It is also a very good training for you."
Willow then came closer to him and asked, "Do you mean using the spiritual and Divine energy that would be around these Gods, like Julian demonstrated to us?"
Kevin nodded and said, "Exactly. Currently, you are always using the spiritual energy and Divine energy that you can gather in your hand, or the Sacred Fire energy that you have stored in your special energy reserve. So for this fight, you will train to shape the particles of the elements you can use to attack your opponents. It is not as easy as it seems, but the Chains of Restraint will give us the opportunity to attack them; you will see."
Willow was always ready to learn new techniques for fighting, and so she said, "Daddy, I will do my best!"
Kevin then smiled at her and said, "I’m sure that you will do your best."
Kevin then looked at Axel, and Axel used the powers inside his golden runic symbols, which started to shine like those on Willow’s wings.
Golden runic symbols also appeared on the blade of his Divine sword, and his eyes turned completely golden; he was ready to fight.
Kevin then deployed his Chains of Restraint around him and Willow, and as soon as the countdown ended, all these holographs dashed toward them at high speed.
Axel then activated the Divine Storm, and even though this attack couldn’t kill Gods, it broke their momentum, and they were all slightly injured, making them slow down.
Kevin smiled; it was really a great move, and since he wanted Willow to be able to train, he didn’t use his System to launch energy balls made of her Sacred Fire energy because the fight could have ended right then and there otherwise.
