Chapter 629: *Sora’s attack*
But as he looked around him, hearing the screams of terror from these evil beings, he frowned as he saw that this attack not only destroyed the force field he had put in place just to remind these lowly creatures who the master was here, but it also killed all the evil beings that were around him but were not protected by his force shield.
He then ordered the Knights of Darkness, "Kill them all, show no mercy; otherwise, if they kill too many of these evil beings, Lilith will vent her anger on all of us."
Once the Knights of Darkness went out to kill the intruders, the Ancient God then said to his men, who were more powerful than them, "Go and make sure that the evil beings disperse as soon as possible. I really can’t afford to lose too many of them; I will go myself to take care of them."
His men bowed their heads, and then they went all over the coliseum to order the evil beings to take cover. They didn’t need to say it twice, as they were all frightened by the power of this sudden attack.
Those who were here today were not really strong because all the evil beings that were powerful enough had already been sent to the front line to fight against the Paladins and Angels.
As for Kevin, he didn’t expect that his attack would have this kind of impact... This God even ordered his men to evacuate the coliseum, which was kind of weird, as their numbers could have represented a great threat for them.
But as the Knights of Darkness he sent to kill them were surrounding them with the Demons, the Semi-Giants, and the Hydras, he refocused back on them first and said to Sora, "You will fight another day; just leave first."
Sora then looked back at her uncle, who was still standing in front of this woman and Lena and Willow to protect them against their enemies, and she nodded before saying to Kevin, "Don’t hang around here for too long." Kevin smiled, but he didn’t look nor answer her, and so she approached her uncle, telling him, "We are leaving; let’s get you to safety first, and we will talk later!"
Just as her ’Uncle’ nodded and was about to take his wife in his arms to follow Sora, they were attacked by the Demon and the Knight of Darkness that were the closest to them, but Atlas and Solomon then appeared in front of them and took care of them.
Atlas was fighting the Knight of Darkness, and Solomon was fighting the Demon, so Sora didn’t waste any more time and used a Teleportation Talisman to open a portal directly inside the cave as planned.
Lena and Willow went first, and then her uncle looked at her while saying, "Sora, let’s go, sweetie; they will follow just after you."
Sora tightened her grip around the pommel of the sword made of light particles that she had created, and then Solomon said to her, when he saw that Sora was hesitating, "Sora, follow them; we will go just after you."
Her uncle called her again in a hurried and worried voice, but she couldn’t just leave like that. These bastards had almost killed the only family Lena and she had ever had, and so with her free hand, she then slammed the ground, and vines came out of it just where the Demons, the Semi-Giants, the Hydras, and the Knights of Darkness were, wrapping around them all at the same time.
Sora then coughed up some blood, as using the earth element in this way was really taxing, but as their enemies were immobilized or, even if they had been able to dodge this attack, they were taken aback by this sudden action, which gave Axel, Kevin, Atlas, and Solomon the time to kill many of them at once.
When Solomon had beheaded the Demon he was fighting, who had been wrapped by Sora’s vines, he went immediately to join her, as she was still kneeling on the ground and didn’t seem to be able to move on her own, and he said to Atlas, who was still fighting the Knight of Darkness who had not been affected by Sora’s attack, as he had a shield of black flames around him, "Let’s go, Atlas; hurry up!"
As Kevin, thanks to Sora’s attack, had been able to kill the Knight of Darkness he was fighting against, as well as two Semi-Giants, he went to join Atlas, telling him, "Go and protect them."
Atlas then looked at him, and Kevin’s eyes were golden; he also had the mark of the Warrior Spirits on his forehead, and the mark of Axel on his neck was glowing.
At this precise moment, when Kevin used his golden chains to keep away all their enemies from them, he finally felt at ease, and he knew that he and Axel could handle this all by themselves.
He then joined Solomon, who was supporting Sora, and just before they left, Sora, even though she had already almost depleted all her energy reserves by using this powerful attack, sent another one... She still had her sword made of light particles in her hand, and so she threw it towards the Hydras, the Semi-Giants, and the Demons who were still kept at some distance from them by Kevin’s golden chains.
Her sword then changed shape, and plenty of small green blades appeared that she launched thanks to the spiritual energy towards all these creatures.
She coughed up a little more blood, and Solomon, after hearing her ’Uncle’ swear, couldn’t stand seeing her in such a state anymore, even though he understood that she wanted to avenge her family.
So he took her in his arms before beckoning her ’Uncle’ to go through the portal first, and he followed right after them. Atlas was the last to leave, and then Kevin, when they had all gone to safety, waved his hand, and the portal disappeared at once.
