Chapter 630: *These two couldn’t be so simple*

Axel then appeared by his side and said to him, "This Ancient God has opened a portal, and reinforcements are coming... Do you still want to fight?"

Kevin’s golden chains were forming a protective dome around them, and none of the attacks from their enemies could get through it. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

So Kevin created two golden short swords and said to him, "Why? Don’t you want us to have some fun? Moreover, sooner or later, we will have to deal with this Ancient God and find out what Lilith wants from this world."

Axel then told him, "Okay, let’s have a little more fun then, but this Ancient God is for me."

Kevin nodded and said to him when Axel conjured up his divine sword, and that all of his golden runic symbols started to shine like the sun, blinding their enemies with the intensity of their golden light, "Sure honey, but leave me at least a few Knights of Darkness; look there, more are coming!"

The Demons and the Knights of Darkness could, of course, hear them talking, as could the Ancient God and the evil beings still out there since the golden chains did provide them with protection, but they were in no way a force field that could cut them off from the rest of the world.

So they were all furious, almost to death, at being treated like air and like insignificant beings by these two strangers, even though it was true that they were undoubtedly powerful.

The one who was definitely the most furious was the Ancient God, who had never before been treated like this, except by Lilith herself, and her two best soldiers who could kill him if they wished by joining forces.

Although one of them was a Warrior Spirit, without his golden chains he was one of the weakest Warrior Spirits he had seen so far, and the other was definitely a Divine creature; his tattoos and golden eyes attested to that, so this one would be more problematic to deal with.

Also, he could feel a powerful bloodline running through his veins, probably that of a powerful God, so before killing him, he should first check which God it was before making an irreparable mistake.

But what he thought about them changed drastically when they conjured up their weapons. The change of power of this Divine creature was insane; he went directly from a God 4/10 level to a 7/10 level, just below his own level.

Then he saw the Warrior Spirit create two golden short swords out of nowhere, and that’s when he understood that he had greatly underestimated them.

This man was not only a Warrior Spirit using a Divine artifact to fight; he was also a Mage, and a Mage able to use the Divine energy at that.

It was the first time ever that he had seen a Warrior Spirit being a Mage since, just by their name, one could understand that they were all great fighters and not Mages.

So these two couldn’t be so simple, and he chose to immediately send one of his men to warn Lilith of their presence here. But would these two let him do that? Of course not!

Axel, following Kevin’s advice, had, as soon as he conjured up his Divine sword and his power increased considerably, put a powerful force field around the arena where they all were, so no one could leave until they broke it.

Even though this Ancient God was slightly stronger than him at the moment, Axel didn’t use all the power that was contained in his golden runic symbols, as he wanted to be able to keep the upper hand if ever he couldn’t kill him today.

Feeling the force field around them, the Ancient God tried to break through it to send a message to Lilith. Because of the force field Lilith had put in place around this world, people could still come in but not leave. Intruders once here were completely trapped. But it also meant that to send a message they had to go to the hidden place where the generator to maintain such a powerful force field was, and they had to use the array that Lilith had drawn on the ground for emergency purposes.

But contrary to his expectations, he did not succeed in breaking this force field that this Divine creature had set up, and as soon as he tried to destroy it, runic symbols appeared on it, sucking up his powers, and not even a scratch could be seen on this force field. This Ancient God didn’t know what these runic symbols meant, but it was further proof that these two men were going to cause him a lot more trouble than he had first thought.

As they were all trapped inside this force field, fighting was the only option left for them. So, as soon as the Warrior Spirit withdrew his golden chains that were preventing them from attacking, the fight resumed. Axel and Kevin, as they were talking to annoy their enemies, were also talking to each other using their link. It was Kevin who guessed that as soon as they conjured up their weapons and showed their true power, this God would probably want to send a warning message to Lilith, and so he had asked Axel to create a powerful force field—powerful enough so that this Ancient God couldn’t break through it.

Then, once they had killed enough of them, they would withdraw as planned, but while Kevin would join the others, Axel would track this Ancient God and his men so that he could find the place where they kept the generator, which blocked them here. If Axel and Kevin could warn Elias and Miguel of what was happening here, it didn’t matter that this Ancient God warned Lilith, as she would guess that it was them, and so she would know that this world would soon pass under Elias and Miguel’s protection.
