Chapter 480: *Where are we ?*
Aiyon understood that they would not tell him more for the time being, so he left to give his instructions to the best fighters of his pack, and he entrusted the task of warning the other Alphas, as Axel requested, to those who were in charge of trading with each pack.
When all the Alphas received the news that their new Supreme Alpha wanted to talk to them, they all gave their instructions and joined him in the arena.
When all the packs began to leave, including Axel’s family pack, and all the Alphas had gathered around them, Mykael created a force field so that the prying ears of the Werewolves could not hear their conversation.
Axel then began, "There are two things we want to tell you. The first is that I’m not at all interested in the title of Supreme Alpha, and so my grandfather will keep his title. If a threat arises that would put any of your packs in danger, I, my husband, or my father’s men will deal with it; you can count on us. You have all seen my husband in action, and it was only a small fraction of his power. Furthermore, you have seen my stepfather reduce those treacherous Werewolves to ashes with a wave of his hand, and my father, who is here, is the God of Destruction, also known as the Guardian of Worlds. His men, since my grandfather was rescued, have been watching over my family, but of course, they could not foresee that one of the packs of your world would be infected with corrupted souls."
The Alphas were speechless and did not know how to react; there was so much information to take into account... God of Destruction, Guardian of Worlds... your world... Paul, who had allowed Kevin to obtain the Bloodlust skill, then said to him, setting aside all this information, "Axel, even though you are already very powerful, becoming the Supreme Alpha would allow you to become even more so. So why refuse to become the next Supreme Alpha?"
Kevin then told them, showing them the mark on his neck left by Axel the wolf, "Because my husband is already a Divine Supreme Alpha, so this title would be of no use to him; he is already much more powerful than a mere Supreme Alpha."
This news shocked the Alphas even more, and Aiyon then asked them, "When you say you rescued Axel, our Supreme Alpha... where exactly did you find him, and why have we never seen any of you before?"
Axel then used his two bloodlines again and said, as his golden aura began to spread towards them, "Don’t be afraid; there are things that are better seen than believed. So let me share my memories with you and show you all that the universe is much larger than you could have ever imagined."
......
In the Demon Territory, in one of the suites of the Royal Palace, Sora and Lena were still unconscious, and Solomon and Altas were really starting to get worried.
They were each on one side of the big bed, and apart from a nod when Altas had arrived and settled on Lena’s side, they hadn’t exchanged a word. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, and Solomon got up to open it. It was Ian, who came to check on the girls.
But when Solomon told him that there was no change and that they were still unconscious, he sighed before saying to him, "I really wish you could stay with Sora... But Lena is here now, and even if she is unconscious, she will be reassured to find her here when she wakes up... Listen, I need you for only one hour, and then you will be able to stay with her, I promise."
He added when he saw Solomon looking toward the bed hesitantly, "Altas can protect them from any danger, so they are safe... Please?"
Solomon finally nodded. He wanted to be there when Sora woke up, but he knew he had responsibilities that he couldn’t keep putting aside. So Solomon followed Ian, who led him into an empty room, and after activating his two bloodlines, he opened a teleportation portal with a simple wave of his hand.
Solomon raised an eyebrow when he saw him use his two bloodlines. But he followed him through the portal without saying anything, and it was only when they were on the other side and he didn’t recognize this place that he finally asked him, "Where are we? And what did you want to talk to me about?"
Ian smiled at him and then said, "There are several things... Tomorrow, some Shapeshifters will come to the palace to meet us. Most of them are wolves, but there are other species as well. With Kerry, I would like you to be there, and according to their skills, offer them jobs that might interest them. Liam is a Shapeshifter after all, and it’s time for the demons to open up to the rest of the world."
Solomon smiled at him and assured him, "Don’t worry; we will welcome anyone who wishes to come and live with us with kindness. It will take some time to distribute the resources in our territory equally, but thanks to the transportation networks that Kevin wants to establish throughout our whole world, it should be faster than expected. Our territory has suffered much more abuse than that of the humans, but if the Shapeshifters agree to participate in the reconstruction of our territory, then it will be much easier for them to adapt and feel at home."
Ian nodded and thanked him. This was very important to Liam, and so it was to him as well. He then said, "You asked me where we were, so follow me; I will show you."
He followed the instructions Caleb had given him and headed for the trapdoor at the back of the building that led to the basement.
