Chapter 205: Chapter 205: There’s Something Wrong with My Dungeon

"I’ll livestream the entire process of Dungeon creation. I’ll show everyone how it’s done first, and share all the problems I face during the process." Leng Feng lifted his head, exuding unwavering confidence.

Jiang Che suddenly looked toward the wall, where a tattered poster hung, its colors drained.

Even back at the Red Pearl Mental Hospital, the medical staff would treat Leng Feng as a beacon of hope.

Now, he looked exactly like the man on the poster—confident, flamboyant, loudly proclaiming humanity’s inevitable victory.

Leng Feng stared into the camera, the livestream chat flooded with his name all at once.

Out of the corner of his eye, he glanced at Jiang Che standing at the back through his phone screen.

At this moment, everyone’s attention was on him. Every other human present was fixing their gaze on him, listening to the information he’d gotten from Jiang Che.

Even though Jiang Che had already said these things before, in the Human Realm, people didn’t trust Jiang Che.

But if these words came from his own mouth, everyone would believe them.

He had no idea what that Evil Spirit really felt for Jiang Che, but he truly envied Jiang Che deep down.

Normally, Jiang Che, for family or control, should have been working for an evil spirit.

But he wasn’t. He lived freely.

That so-called evil spirit family never forced him to pick sides, or tried to make him choose.

Those lost years of freedom when he was trapped in Red Pearl Mental Hospital—now, in a world where humanity had lost all freedom, they were returned to him by those evil spirits.

Now, he really envied Jiang Che.

No responsibility, no constraints—in the apocalypse, he held a freedom no one else had.

But no, Jiang Che still had responsibilities to bear.

Right now, wasn’t he just passing on news of the Dungeon to humans, hoping people would create Dungeons to trouble the Evil Spirit Lords, making it easier for him to protect his wife?

"Whether you’re human or an evil spirit, once you create a Dungeon, do not trespass."

"After the Dungeon is created, there will be an energy wall around the perimeter. You will feel an invisible wall."

"Earlier... the people from Dragon Cloud Tower forced their way into Jiang Che’s Dungeon." He paused here, purposely not shifting the topic further onto Jiang Che.

"Anyone capable of creating Dungeons in the future, just know: if anyone breaks in—human or evil spirit—don’t show any mercy."

"It’s not just about yourselves; you’re also responsible for those living in your territory."

Once a Dungeon is activated, whether you let outsiders go or they escape on their own, it’s treated as a cleared stage.

If Jiang Che had let those Dragon Cloud Tower people go, they would’ve been treated as if they’d passed the level.

That’s also why Ding Ning let him out through the exit.

Once a stage is open, it can’t be closed.

"These Dark Forests represent the impending invasion of the Human Realm by evil spirits."

"This isn’t exactly good news, but it’s not the worst either."

He gave a bitter smile, "The Dark Forests are blocking the passageways. They want to expand their territory, but they’re also blocking the evil spirits."

"But for the forest to expand, we’ll have to make sacrifices."

So, right now the best solution is exactly what Jiang Che said—create Dungeons and carve out a space to survive.

"I’m heading back immediately and will stream the Dungeon creation for everyone." He ended the livestream and shut off his phone.

As soon as he finished speaking, the sound of helicopter blades roared in the distance.

Getting closer, fast.

"Everyone, best to leave now—time is running out for all of us."

"Take your time to consider the stages. Don’t rush in." Leng Feng sighed and was first to board the helicopter.

The others ignored Jiang Che. They’d only come for firsthand, usable information.

In times like this, caution was the only way to act.

No one would waste even a little time on gossip when real answers could be found with a single trip here.

In a matter of minutes, everyone had exited the Dungeon, leaving it deserted.

"Jiang Che, I have to head back, too." Fei Hu looked at Jiang Che. Her face was pale; she wanted to go see her father.

Because of her father, she hadn’t created a stage yet.

"Go. But you’ve only got seven days." It wasn’t that Jiang Che insisted she return in seven days, but because Fei Hu had left her record in the Dungeon.

If she stayed away more than seven days, the Dungeon would punish her. The longer she stayed away, the heavier the punishment—up to death.

Like Xiong Jie, she’d left her information in the Dungeon.

When everyone who needed to leave was gone, Jiang Che finally looked over at Ren Fengxiang, who hadn’t said a word since the beginning and just stood there silently.

"Brother Xiang, what’s wrong?" Jiang Che asked, puzzled.

"Jiang Che, something feels off." Ren Fengxiang frowned, eyes fixed on the Pottery Jar at his Dungeon’s base.

"These things aren’t what I intended." He could sense that the appearance of these jars wasn’t under his control.

He’d only been able to stop Long Yun last time by using a bit of the jar’s power—just enough to keep him down.

Now, his Dungeon just felt overloaded with the jars’ power.

"Jiang Che, I think I made a mistake. I shouldn’t have built my Dungeon next to yours." Ren Fengxiang frowned, unease crawling over him as he thought about his Dungeon.

He felt like the Dungeon was mixed with an awareness that wasn’t his own.

"Something’s wrong with my Dungeon—I feel like, someday, I’ll drag you down too." He pointed to the Pottery Jar on the ground.

The pottery jar lay quietly buried in the dirt. When he stepped on one, it shattered instantly.

Jiang Che stepped on one too—a tiny bit of force, and it crumbled to dust with a crack.

The ground was littered with jars; no matter which one you picked, they broke at the slightest touch.

"What stages does your Dungeon have?" Jiang Che asked. He didn’t enter Ren Fengxiang’s Dungeon directly, but walked in through the front doors of Red Pearl Mental Hospital.

Their Dungeons had shared entrances. Coming in from any angle wasn’t the real entrance—it was all considered invading.

"I don’t know." Ren Fengxiang sounded lost.

"All I wanted was an exit—just a free Dungeon."

"But once these jars appeared, I could feel there are stages in my Dungeon." He sounded anxious and irritated.

This was supposed to be his Dungeon, but it had stages he knew nothing about. He’d even tried to trigger them, but got no response from the Dungeon at all.

"You haven’t dragged me down, and you never will." Jiang Che smashed another jar underfoot.

He noticed the broken pottery jars were slowly reassembling themselves, piece by piece.

"Jiang Che, if anything happens to my side later, just kill me and swallow my Dungeon. I won’t resist."

No resistance meant success. That was the principle of voluntary offering Jiang Che had mentioned before.

Jiang Che shook his head, "I won’t let something like that happen."
