Some days had passed and butler David was waiting for Mary to go out as usual. He planned to and meet Erika and give her the things that he had found. "Mr David, I think now is the best time to leave", one huge bulky man who seems to be the leader of the team suggested to butler David.
"Yes, you are right. Wait here, let me go and get the things that I need to bring along with me", Butler David said and the men nodded in unison. They kept a watch out to be alert when someone would come in.
Butler David didn’t waste anytime at all and came back down quickly. They left in the car that they came with to head to Erika’s and Ethan’s house.
"Uncle David!" Erika exclaimed when she saw butler David coming out of the car with the five bulky men. Erika was surprised to see the bulky men and if she hadn’t know better, she would have thought that they were kidnappers because of the black clothes they were wearing with the black boots and everything.
"Erika", the old butler replied. She quickly welcomed him inside the house and butler David was flabbergasted to see the interior of the house they were living in. The inside looked bigger than the outside.
"Please sit", she offered him a seat. She went to the kitchen to bring out snacks for him. Even though there was something very important to discuss, it would be rude to head to that direction without properly inviting the guest.
Ethan came down when he was done with his work. He saw Mr David who was seated on the couch quite uncomfortably. "Good day, Mr David".
The old man replied, "Good day to you".
Ethan saw the nylon bag that he was holding and wondered if it contained the things that he had asked him to gather the last time they spoke.
Erika came out of the kitchen to see that Ethan has already come out. He pecked her on the cheek and Erika blushed hard. She coughed to gather herself back together.
"Uncle David, please have something to eat and drink", she offered. The old butler didn’t decline at all and grabbed the glass of juice and gulped the content until it was half. He had been scared when they left the mansion and his throat was dry due to worrying. "Do you need more?" Erika asked.
Butler David shook his head. "Thanks but I don’t need more". He dropped the glass and said seriously. "There is something that you need to see."
Erika made eye contact with Ethan because butler David had never looked this serious before.
"This is the things that you asked for Ethan", he opened the nylon bag and brought out everything one after the other. "I also included the drugs just Incase". He showed them the drugs.
Erika helped him to arrange everything on the floor until a bottle showed up. "What is this Uncle David?" She asked and was about to reach out to hold it but butler David warned her first.
"Be careful with that. I don’t really know what it is but it says highly toxic so am guessing it’s a harmful substance", he answered.
"Did you also find it where you found the shampoos and cream?" Ethan asked taking the bottle from Erika’s hands to read what was written on it but they were all medical terms that he didn’t understand.
"No, I did not find it there. I found it in Mary’s save in her bedroom", he replied.
