Chapter 378: GETTING STABBED
"If you dare come close to me, I will kill you!" Adrain yelled while pointing the bottle forward in a stabbing manner when he was only stabbing the air. "Don’t come close to me," he warned.
Most of the inmates walked backward avoiding the pointy edge of the bottle that was stained with the blood of the inmate that was currently on the ground, bleeding but no one paid him any attention at that moment.
Trey and Jay were also surprised by Adrain’s weapon and they tried to back up a little as well.
"All of you, stay over there and you," Adrain pointed at one who was closer to the locked door and ordered, "unlock that door now!"
The inmate stared at Trey and Jay, waiting for them to give him an instruction. Adrain noticed the eye contact and ordered loudly.
"If you don’t open that door right now, I’m going to stab you just like I stabbed your friend," he threatened but unfortunately, the inmate wasn’t completely intimidated by his threat. There were close to ten people and there was only one person with a bottle.
Trey smirked at Adrain before he asked,
"Did you think that the bottle in your hand would be enough for you to escape from me today? I mean, look at us, how do you think you would be able to escape all of us?"
Adrain’s eyes darted from one person to the other, hoping that none of them would dare to come close to him since it seemed like Trey was indirectly telling them to strike as soon as possible.
"If I can kill that one," his eyes fell on the inmate who’d stopped breathing on the ground, indicating his death, "Then I’m sure I can kill another before you get to kill me yourself," he added
Jay smiled, his lips stretching to his cheeks before he removed his eye patch, revealing his perfectly other good eye, checked out the eyepatch before wearing it back and said.
"It’s in the middle of the night Adrain, the wardens are still on duty but they would never think of coming here when you go missing."
Adrain frowned, "What do you mean?" He asked, confused.
Trey made eye contact with the three men behind Adrain and immediately, they held him from behind. One held his left hand and the next three his right hand, the last person walked in front and snatched the bottle out of Adrain’s hands.
Adrain struggled against the inmates that were hindering his movements but they made sure that he wouldn’t escape from their grip, no matter what.
Trey took the bottle from the inmate and smirked for the nth time.
"Don’t be surprised that things took this left turn. You should know that there was no way you would get away from any of us," he mocked. "You used the money we worked hard for to buy a house in California and you didn’t even bother to try to bail us out," he added, the smirk still on his lips but his eyes were glaring daggers at him.
"I thought that he would try to revive his dead company but it seemed he was too foolish to think of anything productive with that huge amount of money. I mean, I don’t blame him at all but still, at the end of the day, we ended up meeting in jail. Fate brought us back together so that we would deal with him properly," said Jay.
Trey flipped the bottle, placing one of his fingers on the sharp pointy edge of the bottle, and let it cut his skin for a bit.
Adrian stared at them, his eyes about to bulge out due to how large it was since he was probably going to be beaten to death in a moment from now. Again, he struggled to be free from those who held him tightly so that he wouldn’t escape but it was a fatal attempt.
Before he could try to think of something else, he felt a sharp pain in his stomach. Trey just punched him in the stomach and the pain was unbearable.
"That was for killing our boss," said Jay. "And this," he punched Adrain in the stomach again. "This is for running away with our money."
After the second punch, Adrain slumped down weakly and Trey laughed out loud.
"He couldn’t even handle two punches! What a weakling!" He mocked as he continued to laugh.
Adrain tried to breathe but it seemed as if there was a hole in his stomach and he wasn’t able to breathe anymore.
"You are going to pay for this." He managed to say as he abruptly stood up from the ground and punched Trey in the face which shocked everyone since they all thought that he’d given up. They never expected to punch Trey again.
Trey stumbled backward and was about to land on the ground but Jay held him.
"How dare you?!" Jay demanded and attempted to kick Adrain in the stomach but the latter saw the kick coming and held him by the foot before twisting his legs and Jay yelped in pain.
The other inmates saw that two of their leaders had been beaten up by Adrain and so they all got angry and charged all at once, kicking and punching Adrain as if he was a sack of potatoes.
Since they attacked all at once, Adrain wasn’t able to fight each of them at the same time which left him at a disadvantage.
Both Trey and Jay didn’t interrupt the beating until they became satisfied at some point.
"Stop!" Trey ordered.
Immediately, the inmates stopped and left Adrain who was bleeding all over.
Bending down to his level, Trey asked with yet another smirk on his lips as he asked Adrain,
"Do you enjoy this? I bet you do. You should thank us actually because we planned to kill you but I’ve changed my mind."
As soon as he said those words, Adrain spat out blood on Trey’s face, and out of anger, Trey grabbed the bottle and stabbed Adrain in the stomach.
