Chapter 37: NOT TELL
On reaching the meeting location with one of her rich boyfriends, Felicia texted the man to let him know of her arrival and she instantly got a reply from him. She read the text and walked towards the receptionist of the hotel.
"Room 344 please", she said to the receptionist.
The receptionist raised her head from the computer screen to attend to the customer. "Are you a visitor, mam?" She asked.
"Why don’t you check the guest list", Felicia nearly barked at the receptionist.
The receptionist checked the guest list quickly out of fright until she saw her name. "You take the elevator to the 7th floor, the 8th room on that floor is room 344", She informed.
Felicia glared at the receptionist before walking away from there. She entered the elevator and reached the floor the receptionist had mentioned. She checked the room numbers until she found the one she was looking floor.
After knocking on the door, a man opened it to expose his half naked body.
"That was fast", the man commented with a smirk before leading her inside the hotel room.
"I need your help", Felicia cut to the chase.
"What a coincidence. I also need your help", Mr Finn Lee aggressively hugged her from behind and rubbed his erection on her a*s before she could turn around to face him. "Hmm", Mr Lee hummed in delight.
"I’m not in the mood now. I really need your help", she repeated. Felicia uncurled his hands that had wrapped itself around her waist. "I’m in trouble", she added.
She turned to face Mr lee who seems to not have understood her words yet.
"I’m infertile", she revealed. Mr Lee’s hands that were about to grope her breasts instantly paused.
"Infertile? How come?" He asked her with confusion.
Felicia walked towards the bed to take a seat before she spoke,
"I’ve aborted too many children for you and now I can’t get pregnant anymore. I went to the doctor today to run some tests and the results came out the same", she rummaged through her bag to bring out the reports and showed it to him.
She had pinned the whole abortion on Mr lee because she had indeed aborted 3 babies for him and also there was a chance that he could help her.
Mr Finn Lee was an infamous doctor in China who travels now and then for the treatment of important patients. Since he was a doctor, she believed that he could definitely give her a pill or two to help her situation.
Mr Lee snatched the result from her hands to read. "You are infertile?" He asked with shock.
"Yes and now I need your help to find a treatment for me before my husband finds out", said Felicia. Even though she wanted to act calm and poised in front of Mr Lee, she couldn’t help but be worried about the new revelation.
Mr Lee folded the papers and threw it away. "Don’t worry about it. I am one of the most capable doctors in China so I will definitely find a treatment for you", he said with a smirk. Before Felicia could open her mouth to thank him, he had already covered it with his. "Now let’s get down to business.

Felicia was having breakfast with Adrain at the dining table. Her body was there but her mind definitely wasn’t. She was still trying to process the news she got from the gynecologist yesterday at the hospital and Mr Lee had yet to reply to her urgent texts.
Felicia didn’t know how to solve the problem but one thing was for sure. She won’t tell anyone in her family about it, not even Adrain.
Adrain looked over the table and saw Felicia, lost in her thoughts. Since he got back from work yesterday, she had been oddly quiet.
"What’s wrong", he asked her. But Felicia didn’t hear him at first until he called out her name. "What are you thinking about?"
"It’s nothing", she replied.
"Are you sure? You have been oddly quiet since yesterday", he pried.
"I said it’s nothing, am fine", she assured. Things have been back to normal now. The company has been doing well, though not as well as it was before because the scandal really created a huge damage but they had investors now and the Harts were now helping the Evans.
The Evans corporations suffered from most of the blow from the scandal and it is taking them quite a while to rebuild their image so they are working harder now and also with the help of harts.

It was the weekend so Monica and Erika went shopping and did all kinds of things to relax themselves. Mr and Mrs have already gone back home so she wasn’t able to join the two girls.
The two girls used all their weekend to do all sorts of crazy things that they hadn’t done for a long time until a new week began so Erika had to go back to work and she got the news she had never expected.
"Erika, we have an issue with our branch in California and I want to appoint you as the CEO there",Felix said to her.
Erika was a little shocked that she will be transferred to the California branch. She had never thought of going back to that city again.
Erika did know the status of the two corporations she was targeting and she was very much satisfied with it so she had not done anything yet. But now that she has to go back, she didn’t know how to describe the emotions that were coming to her.
"Look, I know you never thought of going back but it’s only for business. Also I was not the one who came up with the idea, it was dad. The appointed CEO there seems to be messing things up so dad wants you to go straighten things out", Felix explained. He understood how Erika must be feeling.
Erika thought about it for a second and replied, "Yes, I will go."
Felix nodded at her reply and gave her the details of the situation about the California branch. It seemed that the current CEO was embezzling the company’s money for his own. And because no one was there to keep an eye on him, he felt like he could do anything and get away with it.
Erika got home and informed Monica that she would be going back to California. At first Monica didn’t understand why but Erika explained everything to her and she finally understood.
"I can’t believe this! I came here to spend some time with you but now you are going away", Monica sulked.
"Am not far away, also you can come with me if you want to now that you are free", Erika suggested.
"That is right!" Monica exclaimed before adding, "I totally forgot about that. Let me go and pack my bags as well". And she jumped off the bed and ran to her own room to start packing.
Erika just smiled and shook her head at her best friend’s childish behavior.

At the police station, Mr Davis came to fetch his daughter. It has been a year already and things have not been going well for him. People had somehow found out about his daughter’s whereabouts and now they were criticizing him for not being a good father and for letting his daughter turn into a criminal. His company was also affected by all these scandals and he felt like killing Jasmine when he saw the female warden bring her out with her belongings.
When jasmine saw her father, she quickly rushed over to hug him but the old man used his walking stick to create a distance between them.
