Chapter 365: FOUND
"What?" John asked, completely confused by Luca’s statement.
"What if it was a surprise party?" Luca repeated the question. Thinking he’d probably heard the wrong thing, John didn’t resist anymore in facepalming himself.
"We need to leave now," said John.
"But what if that’s mom?" Luca asked, intending to go back to the room but John pulled him back by the hand.
John parted his lips to say something but Felicia interrupted him by asking,
"What are the two of you doing here? Shouldn’t you be in that room, tied up?"
Seeing her up close, Luca shook his head.
"There’s no way she’s our mother!" He screamed and ran to the nearest door and pulled it open. John didn’t waste any time and followed his brother.
Fortunately, that door was the exit door. They were completely outside and the key was still left in the lock. Without wasting a second, John locked the door with the key and took it.
"Could she be mum’s twin sister? They look so alike but their voices are completely different?" Luca asked but John didn’t reply because he was too busy looking from left to right to figure out the right way to go. "John," Luca called him.
"Let’s go straight," John suggested. "It might not be the right path but we have no choice. They are stronger than us and could break down that door in a minute now." With that, John pulled Luca away, and together, they both started running for their lives while Adrain banged the door hard to try to break it.
"Kick it or something. We can’t have them run away from us that easily," Felicia growled at Adrian in anger.
Adrain hissed at Felicia but did as she had suggested.
Adrain kicked the door twice and the last kick opened it. Jude who had been inside, heard the whole commotion came out, and saw Felicia and Adrain about to leave.
"Where are you going?" She asked them.
Adrain didn’t stay to reply to her question but Felicia did. "Those two rats have escaped. We are going to chase after them right now but don’t even think of taking your daughter and running away. I will find you."
Felicia took away her heels and followed behind Adrain, leaving Jude to ponder on her words.
Jude stared at Felicia’s disappearing figure and didn’t know if she should be glad the boys were able to escape or not. This was a perfect chance for her to also escape but if the boys were caught, they could be killed off immediately by anger.
Confused, Jude loosened the knot that had been tied around her daughter, picked her up, and followed the path where Felicia had taken.

"Run faster," John urged Luca who was starting to slow down in speed. "I can hear their footsteps. We need to run faster."
Even though he was also running at the same pace as Luca, he tried to urge the both of them to run faster but they were already tired and were panting hard.
Suddenly, the headlight of a car shone in their faces and they had to close their eyes to try to see who those people were.
Luca gulped down his saliva in fear as he waited for the person in the car to step down.
The headlight of the car reduced and immediately, John screamed with joy, "Mom, Dad!"
Confused, Luca stared at John to be sure the latter was seeing things clearly but when his gaze fell on the car, he realized he was the one who wasn’t seeing things. That was their father’s car.
Both Ethan and Erika stepped down from the front seat and immediately, they ran towards their parents and hugged them as tightly as possible.
"I’m so sorry that we are late," Erika apologized immediately as she snuggled John tightly close to her body. "How are you doing?" She asked.
As soon as that question left her lips, she sighted Adrain and Felicia who had paused their chase when they sighted them.
"It’s you again," Erika growled under her breath through gritted teeth. "You are going to pay for taking my children away from me. You will pay for what you’ve done."
"Oh wow, look who’s talking? Have you forgotten that you took my child away from me too? You deserve it, Erika. You don’t deserve to give birth to these children and expect to live a good life," Felicia spouted with so much hate.
Containing her anger, Erika gently dropped John to his feet and said, "Get inside the car."
John could feel the anger emanating from his mum for the very first time. He didn’t argue and did exactly as she said.
Ethan also dropped Luca and both of them got inside the car. But before that, they noticed another cat parked right behind their parent’s own and recognized it immediately as well.
"You’re going to pay for what you did, Felicia," Erika glared at Felicia and Adrain who hadn’t spoken a word yet. "The both of you will pay."
Adrain walked forward and intended to grab Erika’s hand but Ethan was fast enough to stop him and deliver a punch on his face.
"What were you planning to do this time huh? Why did you have to involve my children in your stupid plans?" Ethan questioned Adrian as he continued to deliver punches after punches on his body.
"I’m going to beat you to death," Felicia warned before she attacked Erika but she didn’t get the chance to walk more than three feet from her stance before a kick landed heavily on her stomach and she fell on the ground immediately.
"I will make sure you rot in jail for all the crimes you’ve committed, Felicia. I will make sure that you die in there," said Erika as she pulled Felicia by the hair and dragged her towards the car behind theirs while the latter yelped in pain and Ethan followed suit after he’d delivered somewhat enough punches on Adrian.
