Chapter 356: AVENGED

"Don’t tell me you are surprised to see me, Francis," said Robert, slowly walking towards them. "You know I’m not dead so what exactly were you expecting?" He questioned. Whenever he took a step forward, Francis would take one back, afraid of what might happen if Robert was actually one arm reachable to him with the gun in his hands.

"Robert, what are you doing? We can talk this out," Seraphina intervened again, wanting to ace herself as soon as possible.

She was aware that Robert was here for Francis but it was her lie that led to the death of his family which she didn’t regret all these days now but after seeing Robert coming back for revenge, her heart started to regret everything she’d done. It would only be by God’s grace she would stay alive after that day.

With his gaze still on Francis who had started to sweat buckets, Robert turned annoyed and fired a bullet at Seraphina’s two legs mercilessly, and she fell down immediately since her legs couldn’t hold her weight anymore.

"Wtf!!!" She cursed out loud evil Francis’ eyes widened in shock. "You fucking shot me Robert," she cried, trying to touch her legs but they had started to bleed profusely.

"You are next." Said Robert, pointing the gun at Francis’ forehead. Once the hot metal made contact with his skin, he closed his eyes as a single tear fell from his eyes.

"We can talk this out, please. I don’t want to die, I want to leave for my people. I’m begging you, please." Francis pleaded with Robert with his eyes still closed.

As soon as those words escaped from his lips, Robert laughed out loud. His laughter echoed around the corners of the parking lot Francis internally wished that someone would hear him laugh and come save him.

"Didn’t I plead with you that same day you killed three of my children?" He yelled at him out of anger. "Because of you, my wife has gone insane because she still doesn’t want to accept the death of our children and now you are pleading for me to let you go?" He cocked his eyebrow in confusion.

"I’m really sorry for what had happened. A day didn’t pass that I didn’t regret my actions," said Francis, and Seraphina had to look at him twice to be sure she heard what he’d said clearly.

Robert smirked at him before he spoke.

"Even if I don’t kill you now, those people you want to stay alive for will." Seeing Francis furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, he added. "As your most trusted man to whom you keep some of your secrets with, I have released all of them to the press. As I am speaking right now, I’m sure that your gun warehouses are being raided, your hideouts are being investigated and your houses, full of officers if I’m not wrong."

He watched as Francis’ face got drained from blood as it got paler and paler by the second.

"Those citizens by now will surely be looking for you with stones and other objects in their hands to kill you with," he concluded. All of a sudden, Francis fell on the hard ground, the sweat glistening on his forehead started dropping in bits while more replaced it. This was his greatest nightmare.

Robert turned, having his back face both Francis and Seraphina as he continued.

"Now which one who you prefer? Getting killed off by me as soon as possible or letting stones be thrown at you until you die?"

As he suggested, he didn’t know that Francis had dug his hand under his pocket to retrieve his own gun.

"What if I kill you first?" Francis suggested, pointing his own gun at Robert with a smirk on his lips since he thought you’d already won the battle.

Robert smirked as well as he turned and found the gun pointed at him.

"Before you pull that trigger, I would like you to ask your girlfriend a question," Robert said, smiling even more. Without waiting for Francis to give him any sort of permission, he turned to face Seraphina who had lost a lot of blood and could barely stand up. "How about telling your boyfriend the truth," he suggested with a smile still on his face.

Francis scoffed before he replied,

"Oh, I know the truth. I know that you never really raped her," he revealed, this time taking Robert by surprise. "I knew she was lying all along but I decided to play along."

"Why?" That was the only word that Robert could come out of his mouth.

"Hmm..." Francis hummed, thinking of how he should explain his actions. "Let’s say that I’ve always fancied your wife since that one time to came to bring you lunch at the warehouse," he revealed again. "I was waiting for the perfect chance to rape her even though I could go to your house when you were at work and do it. But somehow, I wanted you to be there while I raped her in your presence." Francis licked his lips, salivating at the moment he had with Emma. "Even after giving birth to two children, she’s got quite a tight pussy I must say," he commented.

Before he could say anything anymore, a gunshot had already echoed in the parking lot and a hole was created in Francis’ forehead.

Seraphina screamed again as she watched Francis’s dead body drop flat on the ground.

Even though she’d been shocked by everything he’d just revealed before his death, she was still surprised that Robert had been able to kill him in such a short few seconds.

"How about you join him," he pointed his gun at Seraphina who vigorously shook her head with her hands in front of her in a pleading manner. "Please, don’t. What happened to your wife wasn’t my fault. You heard him, he knew I was lying."

"But still, if you hadn’t made such a fake lie, he wouldn’t have gotten the chance to kill my family." His jaws clenched in anger before he fired another bullet at Seraphina. "You both can be in hell together."
