Chapter 258: FOLLOW
Erika immediately opened her eyes and stared at Iza who had a worried expression on her face. First, she stared at the room to be sure that Adrian was not around then she checked her fingers next. Gladly, there wasn’t any sign of a wedding ring on it.
When her gaze landed on Iza who had been waiting for her to speak, Erika finally said, "I’m okay." Her lungs breathe the words out.
"Are you sure mam? You seem to have blacked out a moment ago," Iza asked to be sure.
Erika vigorously nodded her head as she replied, "Yes I am."
’So all of that was a dream?’ She thought to herself. She subconsciously released a sigh of relief. Coming to think of it, this was a sign that their plan wasn’t going to succeed. ’What if Adrian walked inside the room just like he did in her dream a few seconds ago and grabbed her forcefully as he made her marry him with that bribed priest as a witness?
"So mam, about the plan..."
"We are not going to push through with that plan," Erika cuts the girl off. "We need to think of another thing but first, how much time do we have left?" She asked the girl.
Despite being confused, Iza checked the time on the wall clock and replied, "We only have about forty minutes before the wedding starts."
"That’s not enough time," Erika sighed. She tried to think of anything that she couldn’t do to delay the plan. ’Should I have Felicia fight with those mother and daughter duo again so that they can destroy things in the house and have this wedding postponed?’ She thought to herself but after remembering that Felicia had already gone to get her plastic surgery done, she immediately canceled that idea. If she were to make Juliet and Mary fight, their fight wouldn’t be spicy enough to have the wedding canceled.
Felicia had always been available to mock and insult her but now that she needs her for her games, the woman is not available.
In the middle of her thought, Erika suddenly heard a knock on the door. Luckily, Iza didn’t forget to lock it as she’d done in her nightmare.
Quickly, they pretended to be doing nothing suspicious by acting like everything was alright even if it wasn’t. Iza walked towards the door with steady steps and opened it.
The same bodyguard from earlier came inside and brought a bag along with him.
"Make her wear this as soon as possible, the boss is almost here," he announced after he dropped the bag on the bed and left immediately afterward.
Iza walked towards the bag lying on the bed. They already had a clue about what could be inside the bag because of the white fabric that came out of the bag. It was the wedding dress that she was supposed to wear that day and it looked like the one that she had just dreamt about. Did she just have a peek at the future, Erika wondered.
"What are we going to do now mam? From the tone of that man, it seems that the boss is nearby and there’s nothing that we can do at this moment," Iza nearly cried. Even though she wasn’t the one who was getting forced into marrying the man that she didn’t love, she couldn’t help but pity Erika at the moment.
Erika contemplated some more and she patted her lips to speak, "Get me a knife, Iza."

Inside a car, Adrain had a gun on the neck of a priest who was praying internally for the lord to save his dear life. He had only been in his church, serving himself to the holy lord when this madman barged into his church and held him at gunpoint. It was the worst way that he had ever imagined to die.
"Will you stop fidgeting?" Adrian snapped at the old priest who flinched. "I told you that I’m not going to kill you as long as you don’t do anything stupid so stop that already," he snapped again.
Even though there was air con in the car, the priest still sweated buckets as he nodded his head vigorously.
"Do you understand?" Adrian demanded, his voice loud enough to make even the driver flinch.
"Yes, I understand." The old priest immediately nodded while Adrian smirked him before looking away to stare at the streets.

Inside another car that was far away from the one Adrain and the priest were in, Ethan, Felix, Daniel, and Edward were in one car while a truck full of militaries followed behind them.
"Is he still heading to that same destination?" Daniel asked Edward who was in charge of following Adrain’s location on the tracker.
Edward nodded in response, "This is the second time he’s heading to that location after getting to the church. I have a bad feeling about this."
"I know right? Since he returned from the prison, he’s been going to a lot of locations and that shit confused us. Hopefully, for us, we will be able to get him this time." Daniel mumbled under his breath.
None of them could help but agree with Daniel. Since the last day, they had been going around visiting the places that Adrian had gone to but this particular location was the furthest among them all which was why they hadn’t been able to meet him in the hideout. Now, they have taken it upon themselves to not go back home if they didn’t get Erika back.
Ethan also joined in the mission of course so that he could beat the hell out of Adrian.
"But why would he go to the church after leaving the males wear boutique?" Daniel, confusedly.
All of them went into some deep thought to have at least a clue of what Adrain could be planning this time.
"I’m not sure about this but what if he’s trying to get married to Erika today?" Felix suddenly asked.
