Chapter 175: James and Pili reunion
"Of course, it is possible. If not, I shouldn’t be able to do it. There are things that I can do that you can’t. That I admit but this is something that we all can do."
"Have you ever heard of the phrase ’21 days habit’? If you haven’t then let me explain. If you do something continuously for twenty-one days, from twenty-two days, it will become your habit."
"Our body cells are programmed in a way that they can do something miraculous with our stamina as long as we give it some motivation. A long time ago, I developed a game where you can enter and play to get stronger."
"The logic behind the game is simple. It creates a physical body inside the game with codes and these codes are the biological structure of bodies. So, we merged these codes with our real bodies."
"Then, we inject the power increase into those codes. But, the power output was in the ratio of 1:10. That means for every ten-point increase in power, your body will only get one point increase in power."
"We had to do this because the human body wasn’t capable of instant transformation. We had to slowly transform our bodies into superhuman bodies. I know most of these things don’t make sense to you guys. But, you get what I am saying, right?"
"If you practice something continuously, with the right method, you can make it as natural as breathing. Instead of using my true essence to create fire, I merged my stamina with true essence so that my stamina can slowly change."
"Once I make a small change in my stamina, I start concentrating on it and try to produce the flame out of my stamina. While it might be hard at first, it will be easy if you keep on doing it."
"So, our first training is simple. I want you guys to turn one of your main active abilities into a passive ability. If you did this carefully, you would see an astonishing result and something even more unexpected."
"Now, what are you guys waiting for? Let’s get started right now. And one more thing."
Brian let out an evil grin as he continued.
"If you can’t turn one of your active abilities into passive within a week, your punishment would be doing all the chores, cooking, and even helping others with training. You wouldn’t be allowed to train for that entire week as well."
Although it wasn’t tough punishment, there was a catch, especially with his last sentence. If they can’t train, then that would mean others would continue to train.
And, that means the gap will just continue to grow. So, it motivated them to perform better.
That being said, when they started the training, nobody managed to use even a little of their ability on the first day. As the day went by, they continued but still failed.
By the fourth day, only half of the disciples managed to use their stamina to release their ability for just a few seconds.
While they were training, Brian was more focused on something else. He didn’t have much time so he focused on increasing his physical strength. While the essence was related to his cultivation, physical strength was related to his body cultivation.
Body Cultivation in this world were as follows; Flood Dragon Realm, Wyvern Realm, True Dragon Realm, and Half-Immortal Dragon Realm.
With Flood Dragon Realm’s body, he could fight against anyone within Golden Core Realm. Wyvern Realm allowed him to fight anyone within Nascent Soul Realm.
True Dragon Realm allowed him to fight anyone under Ancestor Realm and the peak of the Half-Immortal Dragon Realm allowed one to become invincible in this world.
He had barely reached the third stage of Flood Dragon Realm. Each realm was divided into nine stages and there was still a long way to go. So, he decided to give his time to body cultivation and reach at least True Dragon Realm within a year.
Coupled with his ever-growing cultivation, it wouldn’t be much to face the threats of Dragon Lord.
..........
In his universe,
"Uncle James, what are you doing?" A soft voice rang outside the room. It belonged to Julia.
"Oh, Julia! Come in." A loud voice rang from the room. As Julia entered the room, she pinched her nose. The stench of alcohol was wrecking this place. James was on the corner of the bed, holding the bottle of alcohol.
"Seriously, you don’t need to come here every single day. I can take care of myself." James tried to smile but his gloomy eyes couldn’t hide his sadness.
"Uncle James, if daddy was here, he wouldn’t have let you live like this. I know you are hurt but you shouldn’t do this to yourself. Please, think about your future." Julia spoke in a mature way.
Although she was still small, she did grow a bit.
Hearing her words, James had tears falling from his eyes. He shook his head and said.
"Julia, you are much more mature than me. You don’t need to deal with my crap. You should just focus on things you need to do."
Julia clenched her small hand and walked out of the room. She walked to her room. There was a small bed and a chair. She sat down on the chair and took out a diary.
Then, she started writing.
[It has been over a month since daddy left us. He said he had gone away for just a few days but he still hadn’t returned. Nothing unusual happened today.
Like always, Dragon Lord managed to capture over ten new planets. My sister hasn’t returned to the Primordial Galaxy yet. She said she had gone out to find the cure for her uncle.
Uncle still hasn’t overcome his problems. Of course, I don’t blame him. If daddy had told me that he doesn’t know me and I am not his child, I would be in a similar condition.
Earth is still safe from the hands of the Dragon Lord. He started conquering the universe with the other him nearly half a month ago when he found that the Universal Spirit was injured.
Currently, he is in the war against the old fossils that lived through the previous Great Reset. I believe once he finished dealing with them, he would come to this galaxy since it is the only galaxy that can fight them.
There is nothing more to write since nothing much happened. I managed to get stronger slightly.]
After she wrote that, she closed the diary and went to bed. As she was going to sleep, her wristwatch started beeping.
’Did sister arrive?’
She hurriedly walked out of her room and went to the underground. There was a massive lab. She stood in front of a blue portal that connected with massive metal structures.
After a while, a figure walked out of the portal, followed by another person.
"Sister!" Julia dashed toward the figure and jumped into her embrace. She raised her head and asked.
"Is she?"
Ely smiled and nodded her head.
"This is pili. She is the only one who shared a good relationship with him."
Then, she looked at the gigantic figure with four arms and blue fur. She pointed her hand at Julia and introduce her.
"This is my sister, Julia. Please come with me."
Pili nodded her head but she was a bit nervous. It has been quite a long time since she was going to see him. She knew his condition and that’s why she was nervous.
She was told that he met his parents but those two simply refused to accept him as their son. Although he was a big boy, it was still hard to accept especially since it has only been over a week.
They slowly walked toward James’s room. As they walked toward there, Ely said.
"Sister Pili, I hope you can bring him back to what he was before. Uncle is our only powerhouse right now. In less than a month, he had surpassed the strength that he managed to gain throughout his days inside New Gods."
"It wouldn’t be long before the Dragon Lord attacks this place as well. So, we must be ready."
Pili felt a strong responsibility on her shoulder. She didn’t know what to say but she still nodded her head. Compared to one month for James, she had spent over a year outside.
But even so, she never once engaged in a relationship with other males. She couldn’t forget him. She even tried to find him but there was no information about him and the earth.
As if they had vanished from the universe. As they reached in front of the door, Pili smelled the foul smell of the alcohol. She didn’t need to think twice before she smashed the door.
Ely and Julia remained behind with stunned expressions on their faces. James also couldn’t react before Pili caught his shoulders and raised him up.
She looked into his eyes and said.
"How dare you waste your time sulking but not searching for me? You bastard....."
Bang!
