Chapter 172: First Battle in GOFL Part 2
Roar! Roar! Kargggg! Karrggg!
The oxen and rhinos started roaring in pain. The massive amount of magma covered them and started burning their bodies.
"Oh my god! The commander is really awesome. He actually destroyed half of the forces of the enemy without even going serious." One of the disciples shouted with an astonished expression.
"Commander is indeed amazing but it is also because those monsters were dumb. When the commander used the flames, they should have understood its intensity and used water."
"Unfortunately, they are not water elemental monsters so they used the earth element, and thus, they made a dumb mistake." Mu Lan shook his head and explained.
He shifted his eyes toward the others and rushed in an instant. He wasn’t going to let the commander get all the glory. He clenched his fist and immense energy burst out of his fist.
The energy condensed into spiritual gloves as he struck a rhino but this rhino was in front of nearly a dozen of rhinos. The impact of the punch sent the rhino flying.
And, it alone took down nearly ten of the other rhinos. When it happened, Mu Lan smirked with confidence and rushed toward the other rhinos.
"Alright! We shouldn’t let him hog all the glory. Let’s go!" One of the disciples shouted and rushed toward them. Soon, everyone else followed him. Each of them used their special moves against the rhinos and oxen.
Since none of them was much stronger than the rhinos, they had no choice but to go all out.
As they continued to battle, the rhinos and oxen started to fall apart. Brian’s group was quickly picking up the pace but as they started to pick up the pace, they found a person rushing toward them.
It was none other than Juan. He was holding an injured person in his hand and they were pursued by a group of devils.
Brian immediately noticed them and it was the first time he had seen the devils. The devils were exactly as he predicted. The dark grey scales covered their bodies like snakes.
They had red eyes, black horns, and black wings on their back. But, some devils looked like that while the others had no wings but instead had four arms. Some even had the size of a giant. It was a mixture of different races but with a devilish appearance.
As soon as he saw them, he immediately changed his target. He rushed toward Juan. Although Juan wasn’t injured, the man he was holding was in a severe condition.
Not to mention, the people chasing them were devils, and much stronger than these rhinos or oxen.
Without any hesitation, Brian immediately went into fire mode, releasing his martial soul. The gigantic sun burst above his head. The flames spread out and he ran like a crazy fireman.
When those devils saw him rushing toward them with those flames, they couldn’t help but stop. The flames and devils do not go hand in hand. But, it didn’t mean they were afraid.
They immediately released their devilish energy and their scales started shining with the dark purple light. Once they conjured a strange purple armor above their scales, they rushed toward him.
Seeing this Brian was slightly worried for a moment. He didn’t know what kind of power-up they got. But, he knew this wouldn’t be simple otherwise devils wouldn’t be the main problem of this continent.
’Alright then, let’s show them what I got.’
"Ysla, put on the battle mode armor!"
"Yes, sir!"
A voice rang in his head and the DragonElephant armor started enlarging. Although the thin sheet of the armor was also armor, it had lower damage resistance than the full-powered armor.
But, it wasn’t just this armor. He had designed this battle mode with Ysla while he was reviewing the disciples. He added a function where his Ysla Armor can cooperate with DragonElephant Armor to burrow its endurance and conjure the flames throughout the armor.
Brian raised his hand and a strange arrowhead iron emerged above his hand. The flame thrust from behind and it shot toward those devils.
When those devils saw a small arrow coming toward them, they almost laughed at it.

And, it exploded on their laughing face. The massive flames contained inside that arrow were almost half of the power of the nuclear bomb. When it exploded, it took out almost every devil within hundred meters of its radius.
"Holy shit! I thought I had lowered the firepower because the metal couldn’t bear the heat. Just how crazy powerful is this armor to store such powerful firepower inside it."
"Sir, the resistance of DragonElephant armor is nearly fifty times greater than titanium. So, it was able to hold this much firepower." Ysla spoke in his brain.
"I know. I know. I was just surprised because when I asked you to install the flames, I thought the compression wouldn’t be higher to make such an explosion. After all, this is not a bomb but rather a fireball." Brian nodded his head and answered.
"Yes, sir. But, we only have five hundred grams of metal that can be combined with the DragonElephant Armor. Our armor doesn’t have regeneration function yet." Ysla reminded.
Brain’s eyes turned serious. He knew this very well. If he wanted to add regeneration to his armor, he had to hunt down a creature with regeneration ability and merge it with his armor through GMT.
’But to do so, I can’t exterminate them. I need to kill them, not destroy them.’
Brian rushed toward the group of devils that still remained. Although he managed to take down a lot of them, there were still around hundreds of them remained.
It seems like unlike humans, the other races just sent their troops in bulk. But, even so, it didn’t seem like humans do not want to send people in bulk. Rather, they seemed to be forced for some reason.
Brian knew it had something to do with politics and power distribution but even so, it was quite confusing that humans could only send a legion of hundred soldiers.
Brian didn’t think too much about this and concentrated his mind on the devils. He raised his hands and extended his fingers. The light glowed at the tip of his fingers, and five heat beams burst out of his fingertips, moving toward the devils with an extraordinary speed.
Those five beams of fire pierced through the devil’s body and went on to destroy others.
’Normally, it would be called Heat Vision but since it was used through the finger. I would call it.’

’Death is kinda there to make it sound more deadly. It’s just solar finger actually.’
Brian thought to himself and jumped. He raised his legs and spun. The flames gushed into his foot and he shot two massive fireballs through his foot.
Those two massive fireballs struck the devils and exploded. The explosion caused the ground to shatter and several devils were burned to death.
At this moment, those devils finally realized something. Even if they bring an army here, they can’t kill him unless they bring someone with similar strength.
They were basically just some cannon fodders.
So, they didn’t hesitate to turn around and run. Only around fifty devils remained. Most of them were burned on the ground. But even so, he wasn’t going to let them leave.
"Tch! Don’t tell me this is the dignity of so-called devils?" A microphone with a talisman attached to it emerged in front of his mouth as Brian spoke.
His words were heard by those devils and the monsters as well as humans. Brian turned around, looking at his companions.
"See this, everyone! These devils are not things but waste. What were they called? Fearless Devils’ who do not fear death. But, do you know what? I see nothing but trash."
Brian turned his head at those devils and sneered.
"You called yourself devil, right? Take a step forward and leave this battlefield. You aren’t devils. You’re just a bunch of trash."
Hearing his words, the devil’s eyes started bleeding. Their blood was boiling with anger. For the first time in their lives, they were called trash. Now, they didn’t have any intention to leave.
They would rather die than live as trash.
Although they thought that, they never realized that Brian was basically taunting them so that they won’t run away.
"What? Did I touch your sore spots? Are you crying?" Brian didn’t stop because he wanted to kill them. He wouldn’t let a single devil run away but without angering them, it was impossible to hold them back.
"KILL"
"Kill this bastard!"
Those devils frantically shouted. They raised their hands and rushed toward Brian but they didn’t just move toward him to die. They burned their blood and increased their strength by several folds.
Seeing the aura of the group, Brian instantly got serious. He knew this wasn’t going to end well. But, not for him.
He clenched his fist and the flames condensed at his fist. He raised his head at the devils and his flames burst out.

The flames from his martial soul reached out to his fist. His Celestial Chaos Physique released powerful energy that flowed through his veins. His aura also got stronger.
The sun was getting bigger and it almost looked like there were two suns in the sky. By borrowing the power of his martial soul, Brian raised his fist and stepped forward.
He pulled his arm back, covering his fist with his other hand. He closed his eyes for a moment and when he sensed the first devil nearly ten meters away from him, he thrust his fist forward.
