Once the attacking fighters were mostly dealt with and sent a surrender signal, the enemy surrendered immediately. Of course, T’Challa’s Royal Talon Fighter, being made of vibranium, was incredibly durable—but Everett’s piloting skills were also clearly impressive to have held out that long.

With T’Challa’s authority restored, the battlefield was quickly settled, and we were able to rest again at the palace. Killmonger was taken to the medical bay for treatment, while his men and W’Kabi were sent back to prison by the Dora Milaje. The Border Tribe warriors were disarmed and kept under watch in a designated area.

But even after everything was over, T’Challa’s expression remained grim. Perhaps because he hadn’t been the one to finish Killmonger with his own hands.

After some time, Ramonda, who had been protected by the Jabari Tribe, returned to the palace. Shuri and T’Challa welcomed her warmly. As soon as she arrived, Ramonda insisted T’Challa get a full check-up. He said he was fine, but from a mother’s perspective, it was natural to worry after her son had nearly died.

So T’Challa reluctantly went to the lab with Shuri for an examination. Since it took quite a while, it seemed he wasn’t in perfect condition either after everything he’d been through.

In the meantime, I checked out Wakanda’s battle rhinos—I was bored and curious about why they were so strong.

’As expected, they have a high ratio of vibranium fused into their cells.’

It seemed they grew up eating vibranium-rich vegetation, and since rhinos eat large quantities, they absorbed and fused far more vibranium than humans. I’d noticed before, but vibranium is definitely a bio-friendly metal.

The next day, Everett Ross said he would leave after breakfast. T’Challa offered to have a Wakandan transport ship take him to the UN headquarters. When Everett left, even Shuri, Nakia, and Ramonda came out to see him off—they were all very grateful for his help.

Another day passed, and T’Challa seemed to have recovered well—he ate properly and looked better. That day, he gathered the tribal chieftains for a meeting. This time, M’Baku also participated.

I couldn’t attend directly, so I didn’t hear the details, but according to Shuri, some chieftains refused to acknowledge T’Challa as king because the duel with Killmonger hadn’t been settled.

Wakanda is a kingdom that values legitimacy, so there was no room for compromise on this issue. It seemed the conclusion was to heal Killmonger completely and hold another duel.

"Thank you for your help. I’m sorry I couldn’t finish it myself, but it can’t be helped—I wasn’t strong enough."

"Don’t lose to Killmonger this time."

"I won’t. Anyway, if you ever need help, let me know—I’ll do my best to assist."

After exchanging goodbyes, I departed for New York. During the trip, I copied one of the Heart-Shaped Herbs from my inventory, crushed it with [Telekinesis], and drank the juice. The herb contained strong hallucinogens, but my [(EX) Status Immunity] made that a non-issue.

I was shocked to acquire the Sentry Serum far earlier than I’d expected—seeing that it required merging all these abilities, it meant the Sentry Serum was the result of combining every available terrestrial serum’s advantages into one.

’Those Ox guys were really impressive. But Super Soldier Serum and Extremis probably came from S.H.I.E.L.D. Curse must have been obtained when the Dark Elves invaded Earth—but how did they get the Heart-Shaped Herb?’

I thought about it for a moment—they probably didn’t get it from Wakanda. They must have realized that vibranium fused with cells enhances the body and researched it separately.

Well, however they did it, I was lucky to get such a powerful ability—comparable to [(EX) Shadow Monarch].

It was a bit disappointing that ’Curse’ wasn’t included—even if it consumed a lot of mana, Curse multiplied stats by a factor. Abilities that multiply stats were quite rare.

And aside from the Void’s abilities, the fact that my dormant ability was ’Ability Absorption’ was surprising. In hindsight, wanting [Kill Steal] early on might not have been a coincidence.

’Was I always that greedy? I just wanted to collect things...’

Lost in thought, I soon arrived at the Avengers base in New York.

Inside, Minerva briefed me on recent events—nothing major except back-tracking and dismantling the dying Hydra branches. The marinas, yacht factories, and tourist complexes under construction in South Korea were also proceeding without issue.

The Widows were still enjoying their vacation in Hawaii. Checking their card statements, there was no gambling or problematic spending—Natasha seemed to be managing them well.

I decided to strengthen the Sentry Serum’s abilities. According to the description, absorbing more abilities would enhance the base stats and abilities gained from the serum—the 2000/0 indicator meant both All Stats +2000 and the accompanying abilities could be strengthened.

’It seems it increases through Ability Absorption...’

No matter how I looked at it, the Marvel universe seemed insufficient—I’d already been there too long, and the story was heading toward its finale. Most available abilities were already secured, making mass acquisition difficult.

I opened the list of worlds in Leisure Life and browsed for a while, when the ’Warhammer’ series caught my eye. Surely the Emperor’s angels—the Space Marines—would have [Strong Mental Fortitude]. With luck, I might even acquire the ’Psykers’ psychic abilities. Of course, that would mean hostility with humanity’s forces.

There was also a reason I wanted to raise [Strong Mental Fortitude]—I’d acquired many abilities that strain the mind. Since expanded senses cause mental stress, it wasn’t exactly a status ailment.

’Those guys undergo surgery without anesthesia—so they definitely have it.’

The Warhammer universe is, in some ways, full of romance—but in reality, it’s a grimdark world. All of humanity is treated like spare parts for the Emperor, worshipped as a god. Protein is extracted from corpses and mixed into food rations for commoners and soldiers—the quality of life is worse than in Cyberpunk.

Still, it’s somewhat understandable—powerful alien forces are constantly attacking. If humanity didn’t unite, they’d face immediate extinction.

’Even so, it’s brutal. Those fanatics condemned entire planets as heretics for not believing in their god.’
