"A new illegitimate daughter is competing with him, haha, wouldn’t he be scared if he knew!"
Anna said happily.
She just didn’t like Zoe Quinn and didn’t want Sean Lockwood and Zoe to have a good life together.
In order to be with Zoe, Sean wouldn’t listen to Renee Grant and used severing ties as a threat.
Renee, being Carter Lockwood’s only son, almost agreed when the old man stepped in and stopped him.
The old man’s attitude was firm, he simply wouldn’t agree, and said Sean could get lost from The Lockwood Family.
And just like that, Sean and Zoe got married, but they weren’t recognized by The Lockwood Family as his identity as the elder master.
The Lockwood Family also stopped caring about his career.
A once popular celebrity, because of The Lockwood Family’s indifference, became washed up in no time.
Their days together weren’t as good as imagined.
Now, with Felix having another illegitimate daughter, it means another person to divide the inheritance with Sean.
Sean must be getting anxious about it.
"Just because Felix has money, doesn’t mean he’ll give it to Sean."
Serena Sullivan replied after hearing Anna talk about Sean and Zoe.
Felix didn’t really get involved in Sean and Zoe’s affairs.
In the past, it seemed he’d supported his son’s romantic life, but now it seems Felix loves himself the most.
"Will he give it all to his illegitimate daughter?"
"Not necessarily."

"Sigh, Sean is having quite a tough time now."
Anna returned to talking about Sean.
Without the support of The Lockwood Family, Sean wasn’t much.
No, it was without Carter Lockwood’s support.
"Carter said he won’t care about him, and truly, no one is hiring him for acting jobs. He even wanted to develop Zoe’s career, but now he can’t even take care of himself."

Serena listened again as Anna praised Carter.
"Anna, if you had to choose between Sean and Carter as a husband, who would you pick."

Anna thought Serena’s question lacked depth.
"Of course, it’s..."
Carter’s name didn’t come out, but Anna blushed when she thought about it, and her heart started racing.
With Carter, she didn’t have to worry about anything; she felt secure.
"You like Carter, huh."
Serena teased.
Carter certainly isn’t easy, to have piqued Anna’s interest with such lackluster tactics.
"Who says I like him?"
Anna retorted stubbornly.
"If you don’t like him, then you like Sean."
Serena deliberately replied.
"No, I don’t like Sean, I like Carter."
With Serena’s approach, Anna spoke her mind, and only afterwards did she realize what she had admitted.
It turns out she had unknowingly fallen for Carter.
"Anna, Carter is great."
"You need to go for it!"
Serena cheered Anna on.
Finally seeing progress between these two, she was concerned that by the time Finn Chandler’s kid was running around, Carter and Anna would still just be getting started.
"But he doesn’t like me!"
Anna said in a fluster, immediately wondering in her mind if Carter liked her or not!
Serena chuckled softly, "Carter shares all Lockwood Family matters with you, indicating he considers you a part of the family."
"You, don’t need to guess his thoughts, just do what you feel like doing!"
"If he doesn’t like you, won’t you chase after him?"
Truthfully, if Anna pursues Carter, once she confesses, Carter would surely give in.
Serena encouraged Anna, always believing that Anna and Carter’s relationship was the smoothest one.
