He was great, but Claire Sullivan only treated him as a brother.

Claire Sullivan replied softly.
"Why haven’t you left yet?"
Claire Sullivan walked over to him, the wind blowing carried his scent, making her inexplicably nervous.
"You hadn’t come back yet."
Simon Sterling replied naturally.
It wasn’t the first time Simon had waited for Claire. Whenever she went out, he would take her if he had time. If she returned late, he’d wait here if he couldn’t see her.
After waiting many times, he knew her return times.
But normally, he waited at home. Today, because Felix came over, he waited outside.
"You don’t need to wait for me."
Claire Sullivan said again.
"Nothing else to do," Simon Sterling replied casually.
Claire Sullivan didn’t quite like hearing this answer.
What do you mean, nothing to do!?
So he’s only waiting here because he has nothing better to do.
"Then find something to do," Claire Sullivan said as she quickly walked ahead.
Simon Sterling watched Claire Sullivan’s back with confusion. Hmm? Did I say something wrong!
Claire Sullivan opened her home’s door and went inside, seeing Wyatt Sterling running quickly towards the living room. It was obvious he had been spying on them by the door.
"Mom."
Being caught, Wyatt Sterling walked over with a smile.
"Mom, I was waiting for you, too."
"I didn’t wait for you because I had nothing to do, I was missing you."
Outside, Wyatt overheard Simon and Claire’s conversation.
Even not so clever as he was, he could tell Simon’s previous answer was too straightforward, so he said this on purpose.
"Wyatt!"
Wyatt hadn’t started to brag when Simon Sterling called him out.
Mocking his father in front of him, Wyatt was being bold.
"Mom, Dad wants to scold me again."
Having his mom around made Wyatt bolder in front of Simon Sterling.
He dragged Claire Sullivan out, while Simon Sterling just gave a cold glare without saying anything further.
On the couch, Serena Sullivan and Ethan Grant exchanged glances as they enjoyed the harmonious atmosphere.
Having a complete family truly was the most fulfilling thing.
Felix Lockwood returned to Solaria, and The Lockwood Family was handling his affairs discreetly, not planning to make them public.
Anna Morgan, who was visiting at the Lockwood Family, was frightened by the scene of Old Master Lockwood ordering a servant to whip Felix Lockwood.
She asked Carter Lockwood what was going on, thinking he wouldn’t tell her.
Unexpectedly, Carter Lockwood told her everything openly.
She then called Serena Sullivan to talk about Felix Lockwood’s situation.
On the phone, Serena Sullivan listened to Anna Morgan talking about Felix Lockwood and Wendy Monroe, and then thought of Carter Lockwood, without feeling surprised.
Carter Lockwood was really good to Anna Morgan.
