Felix Lockwood’s departure from the Imperial Capital didn’t bring peace to The Sterling Family. Instead, just a few days after his leaving, Mrs. Kane stirred up trouble, throwing the family into a difficult situation.
Wyatt Sterling was recognized in the heart of everyone in The Sterling Family as the next leader. When he was brought back to the family, the old master raised him with care, and after gaining memories, he studied with Simon Sterling.
Over the years, under the guidance of the old master and Simon, Wyatt’s abilities became increasingly outstanding. His temperament was less aloof than Simon’s, and in a few years, Wyatt would be able to stand on his own.
For this reason, The Sterling Family paid great attention to Wyatt’s marriage.
Due to Simon’s issues with emotions and marriage, The Sterling Family intentionally allowed Wyatt to find someone on his own.

The Ford Family declined, and the number of invitations The Sterling Family received only increased.
Simon never enjoyed social events, and now he wanted to spend more time with his family, generally pushing off any events he could and sending Wyatt to attend the unavoidable ones.
Wyatt would eventually take over The Sterling Corporation, so attending such social events became second nature to him.
He attended an event as usual.
Serena Sullivan and the others didn’t think anything would happen. Wyatt currently lived with Simon; sometimes he would stay at his own place, other times at Serena’s.
That night, Wyatt didn’t return, and Simon didn’t worry, assuming he had gone to his apartment or Serena’s.
In the morning, Simon came to pick up Claire Sullivan to go out for a training class.
As they were leaving, Claire asked, "Where’s Wyatt?"
She usually didn’t have much going on, so she enrolled in some training classes.
Seeing Simon alone, she naturally thought Wyatt was waiting in the car for her.
As she walked towards the car, Simon paused for a moment and asked her, "Wyatt isn’t here?"
He had an event last night and didn’t return to The Sterling Residence.
After Wyatt was done with the event, maybe he missed Serena and stayed there, or he could have gone to his apartment.
When Simon asked the question, he wasn’t thinking too deeply.
"No!"
Claire replied, "He didn’t return to yours either?"
After comparing notes, they both had the answer.
Not at The Sterling Residence, not here; then he must have returned to his own apartment.
"Let’s go together to pick up Wyatt, he also needs to go to The Sterling Corporation."
Claire suggested.
She thought it was best for the family to go together, but Simon wanted some time alone with her.
However, Claire insisted, "Then let’s go together."
Simon arrived at Wyatt’s place, unlocked the door with the fingerprint access, and something seemed off as soon as he opened the door.
There were no shoes at the entrance, meaning he hadn’t returned.
"Wyatt hasn’t returned?"
Claire also noticed.
Wyatt hadn’t been to The Sterling Residence, or Serena’s, nor was he here at his place.
So where had he gone for the whole night?
