Chapter 63: Transportation

Aria replied, "I haven’t decided yet." Then she looked at Asher and asked, "What about you?"

Asher just replied, "Nothing. I am just going to live peacefully and enjoy my life."

Aria looked at Asher for a moment and said calmly, "That actually sounds nice. Maybe I should also just enjoy my life after graduating while cultivating."

Asher just nodded at her and said, "Do what you want. It is your life; you can do whatever you want with it."

Soon, lunch came to an end and everyone left to prepare for the upcoming exams.

Saturday

Last day of exam.

In S Classesroom

Everyone submitted their answers sheet.

Then Elisa announced in a loud voice "This was your last exam , and you result will be announced Tommorow and also also the information about the upcoming trip to Elyndor"

Then everyone left the Classroom.

Students face were full of joy that exams finally ended.

Next day

Afternoon

Asher and his team were having lunch when suddenly everyone got a notification.

Asher did not even stop to look at his mobile to check the rankings.

Everyone else stopped eating and checked their rankings.

Noah sighed with relief and said, "I got rank 23, just what I wanted."

Adam said, "I got 9th rank."

Then they looked at Aria, who got rank 1, as they had expected from her.

Then Asher asked, "What rank did I get?"

Aria replied, "You got rank 29."

Asher just nodded at that.

Then he asked, "What about our upcoming trip?"

Adam answered, "We will leave tomorrow at 12 pm for it."

Asher asked, "We are going through the teleportation portal, right?"

Adam shook his head. "Nah, we are going to travel by the Maglev train."

A Maglev train, full name Magnetic Levitation train, is the third fastest mode of transportation after teleportation and planes. These trains can run up to 600 km per hour.

But instead of using magnets, the application of Earth magic is used to run it.

Ashen then asked, "How much time will it take us to reach our destination?"

Adam answered, "About 5 hours at least."

Elyndor Academy is situated on the northern side of the continent, in the opposite direction of Astrean territory as well as the Desoloterra Continent.

The northern side of the continent is mostly inhabited by elves, dwarves, and demi-humans.

It has the highest concentration of forests and rivers on the entire continent, but that does not mean the technology is less advanced there. It is simply that they value nature more and preserve it better than humans.

The name of Northern side of Continent is Sylvarion.

Asher then said, "The Academy is being stingy. Why can’t they just use a portal?"

Noah said, "Because the distance is too much, and transporting 700 students as well as some professors will take a large amount of resources. And that is not worth it just to decrease the time of a normal trip.Teleportation is only used in emergencies or for important matters."

Asher replied, "Then just get an Immortal Rank Spatial Mage and tell him to teleport everyone."

Aria then said, "Stop talking like Immortal Ranks are fruits being distributed on the street. Why would they waste the time of someone as important as an Immortal Rank mage, especially a Spatial Mage, for something like a simple trip?"

Asher clicked his tongue slightly but didn’t argue further.

Noah then said, "I am really excited for this trip. It will be my first time going there. I will start packing for the trip after lunch."

Asher just replied, "What is there to pack? Just take some of your clothes and snacks, and your packing for the trip is complete."

Aria looked at him and said, "It doesn’t match what you carry in your subspace."

Noah then looked at Asher and asked, "By the way, what else do you have in your subspace other than food, games, and clothes?"

Asher replied with a small smile on his face, "Everything—mana potions, healing potions, every electric appliance and the resources to power them, as well as medicine. Almost everything you need to survive and enjoy your life."

Adam then looked at him and asked, "What about a car, or a private jet, or a house? You don’t have them, right?"

Asher replied, "I have them. Though I don’t really know how to drive them, they all have autopilot, so there’s no need to worry. And yeah, I also have a portal house in there made by the best company on the continent. I asked for it as a birthday gift from my family."

Noah stared at him for a moment before slowly leaning back in his chair. "At this point, I don’t even know what to say anymore."

Aria blinked once. "A portal house... as a birthday gift?"

Asher then said "Yeah ,it is good to be always be prepared for anything"

Aria looked at him with a more focused expression now. "So your subspace isn’t just storage. It’s basically a personal world at this point."

Asher didn’t deny it. "More or less."

A brief silence followed as the others processed that statement.

Noah finally spoke again, quieter this time. "And here I was worried about overpacking for a trip..."

Adam gave a small sigh. "We’re not even on the same level of preparation."

Aria leaned back slightly, her tone calm but firm. "That’s not preparation. That’s just excessive wealth and resources."

Asher tilted his head. "Same thing in practice."

Noah shook his head immediately. "No, it really isn’t."

Asher then stood up and said, "Whatever, now I am going to play games since exams have ended."

Adam said, "Stop saying it like you weren’t playing them during exam days."

Asher didn’t say anything to defend himself and instead said, "Would you guys also want to play?"

Everyone thought for a moment, then agreed to play together.

After that, they all played games together until dinner.

After having dinner together, they all went to sleep.
