Chapter 64: Train Journey

Next day

Monday

11:50 AM

Today is the day first-year students will leave for Elyndor Academy.

All of the classes’ students, with their respective class teachers, have left the academy island since there is no train station on the Academy island.

All of them have already reached the nearest train station to the Academy.

A whole train has been booked by the Academy for 700 students and professors.

All students were waiting for the train to arrive.

Meanwhile, professors were giving them instructions for their trip to Elyndor Academy.

Professor Elisa stood in front of the S-class students with her usual calm but strict expression.

She looked at them for a moment before speaking and made sure she had their full attention.

"Listen carefully, this trip is not a vacation," she said. "Elyndor Academy is far more strict and competitive than our academy. You will be representing our academy there, so your behavior matters."

A few students straightened up after hearing her words.

Elisa continued, "There will be multiple evaluations during your stay. Some will be announced, some will not. Do not assume you will be safe just because you are students."

She paused for a moment then added, "Stick with your class group unless I say otherwise. Do not wander alone, especially in unfamiliar areas of Elyndor Academy."

Her gaze moved across the S-class students one by one.

"And one more thing," she said. "Do not try to provoke unnecessary conflicts with students from other academies. If something happens, report it immediately to the professors."

The students stayed silent and listened carefully as her words sank in.

Then she looked at Asher and said, "Especially Asher, try not to cause any trouble there."

Asher just looked at her with confusion and said, "I never cause trouble, others cause trouble for me."

Elisa then said, "Your whole attitude reeks of trouble."

Asher paused for a moment and looked at her, then said, "That is just your imagination."

A few students finally couldn’t hold it in and quietly chuckled.

Elisa let out a small sigh, clearly giving up on arguing further with him.

"Just behave," she said simply, then turned her attention back to the group.

Before Elisa could say anything else, a low rumbling sound came from the distance.

The ground beneath them slightly vibrated as the sound grew louder and clearer.

Everyone turned their heads in the same direction.

A long high-speed train slowly came into view, moving along the elevated tracks toward the station. Its sleek metallic body reflected the afternoon light as it approached.

The announcements on the platform echoed, signaling its arrival.

"The train to Elyndor Academy has now arrived. All passengers, please prepare for boarding."

Elisa looked at the group one last time and said, "Board quickly and in order. No rushing."

The train slowly came to a stop, releasing a soft hiss as the doors aligned perfectly with the platform markings.

A brief silence followed before the doors slid open with a smooth mechanical sound.

Inside, the compartments were spacious and neatly arranged, clearly prepared in advance for the large number of passengers.

Students began moving forward in an orderly line, though a few still looked around with curiosity at the train’s interior.

Elisa stood near the entrance, monitoring them closely.

"Keep moving," she said. "Do not block the entrance."

Then everyone entered the train and took their seats with their team members.

In the S-class compartment, Asher and his group sat together.

Noah leaned back in his seat and said, "Finally, we are leaving. I was getting tired of waiting."

The seat arrangement in the train was normal—two seats facing two seats, with a space between them. A table could be extended from the wall of the train if someone wanted to eat something.

There was enough space between the seats so you could adjust the angle of your seat and even sleep comfortably if you wanted to.

After everyone has boarded the train.

The train picked up speed, and the steady rhythm of movement filled the compartment as their journey to Elyndor Academy officially began.

Asher just looked at his teammates and said, "I don’t know how you guys are going to spend these 5 hours, but I am sleeping for these 5 hours. Wake me up when we reach the destination."

Aria didn’t say anything and just looked outside the window.

Noah looked at Asher and said, "You are seriously going to sleep the whole time?"

Asher already adjusted his seat and replied, "Yes."

Asher then took out a sleeping mask, wore it, and went into deep sleep.

After four and a half hours, Asher felt someone shaking his shoulder.

Then Asher slowly opened his eyes and looked at Aria, who was gently shaking his shoulder to wake him up.

After noticing that he had woken up, Aria stopped shaking his shoulder and looked at him and said, "We are going to reach in 30 minutes."

Asher just nodded at her, then looked at Noah and Adam, who were sleeping.

Asher looked at them and said, "So in the end they too ended up sleeping."

Outside the window, the scenery had already changed completely. The land looked unfamiliar now, with distant structures and large roads appearing as they moved closer to Elyndor Academy’s region.

The train’s speed gradually began to reduce, and the steady vibration through the compartment became slightly softer.

Announcements echoed again through the train speakers.

"Next stop, Elyndor Academy Central Station. Passengers, please prepare for arrival."

Noah slowly shifted in his sleep, while Adam remained completely knocked out beside him.

Aria looked at Asher and said, "We should probably wake them up."

Asher just nodded, then took out a water gun from his subspace.

Aria looked at the water gun, then at Asher.

Asher just looked at her and said, "I already told you I have everything in there that I need, but I don’t have things like makeup or girls’ clothes in there since I don’t need them."
