Chapter 2956: Chapter 2956

Tang Qianyu kept pestering Ye Liuyun’s first avatar with questions about Tang Xiaofeng’s whereabouts and recent condition. Seeing her concerned expression, the avatar briefly filled her in.

"He’s already gone to battle the alien races. At the very least, he won’t be returning for many years," he told her.

"Then why aren’t you going?" Tang Xinyao suddenly interjected, turning her sharp gaze on the avatar.

The avatar replied calmly, "We’re here to gather planets imbued with Buddhist light energy—tools to use against the alien forces. After this, we’ll join the fight as well."

"Are these alien races the same as the ancient demons?" Tang Xinyao pressed.

"No," the avatar answered truthfully. "The alien races are different. Those ancient demons have already been completely eradicated by us."

"You wiped out an entire demon planet?" Tang Hao couldn’t help but cut in, disbelief lacing his voice.

"Not just one—all of them. The entire Scattered Demon Realm has vanished," the avatar continued matter-of-factly.

The Tang family disciples gaped at him, jaws slack with shock.

"That’s impossible!" Tang Qianyu shrieked.

The avatar merely chuckled. "There are many things you’d find impossible. If you don’t believe me, send someone to verify it yourselves."

The other Tang disciples remained skeptical. They had fought the ancient demons for years, yet had only managed to attack a few planets—never fully exterminating them. Even if the entire Demon-Slaying Star System had joined forces, wiping them out completely would have been unthinkable.

Tang Xinyao, however, narrowed her eyes and asked, "You said ’we’—just how many of you are there?"

The avatar admired her sharpness but kept his answer vague. "Our numbers aren’t vast, but we possess some... unique equipment."

No sooner had the words left his mouth than a thunderous shout echoed through the air:

"Who dares cause trouble on my An family’s planet?!"

They followed the sound and saw over thirty black dots in the distance, racing toward them. The golden pupils of the clone had already discerned them—thirty-two elders from the An family, all at the first or second level of the Unity Realm.

"Tian Dao, release thirty Unity Realm martial cultivators. Prepare for battle!"

The clone immediately returned, instructing Ye Tian Dao to release the fighters and ready for another clash. Simultaneously, he sent a mental message to Zhu Que, ordering her to capture a few younger Unity Realm second-level martial cultivators.

Chi Lian also moved to stand beside the second clone, preparing to coordinate with him in battle. Li Dao Yuan stepped forward as well, ready to join the fray.

When the An family elders arrived and saw the elite disciples of the Tang family, they frowned. Even with their thirty-plus members, they weren’t confident of overpowering the Tang family’s twenty-odd elites.

"Has the Tang family also joined in hunting down our An family disciples?" The leading elder ignored the clone’s group entirely, turning instead to Tang Xin Yao.

Tang Xin Yao merely shrugged, smiling at the An family elder. "We haven’t lifted a finger just now—we were only watching the show!"

The elder scrutinized their condition and, seeing no signs of recent combat, dismissed them.

"So it was you lot, then?" Only then did he turn his attention to the clone’s group.

"Attack!"

Without wasting a single word, the first clone immediately unleashed his divine soul alongside Zhu Que, invading the elder’s consciousness to plant a slave seal.

At the same time, three An family elders’ throats spurted blood as they plummeted lifelessly from the sky.

The second clone used his crimson pupils to seize control of another elder before cleaving him cleanly in half with a single slash.

Without hesitation, the entire team surged forward to engage the An family elders. The released Unity Realm martial cultivators moved in groups of three against a single elder, dispatching even second-level Unity Realm opponents within three moves.

These Unity Realm experts captured by Ye Liu Yun had seen plenty of combat recently and had undergone brief training under Ye Tian Dao. Having reached this level of cultivation, their comprehension was far beyond ordinary people’s. They quickly grasped the power of formation tactics and had already mastered them without needing further urging.

Li Daoyuan also engaged in battle with a First-Level Reunion elder. Normally, he wouldn’t have been a match for cultivators of the same realm here, but thanks to his recent diligent training and the newfound power of Buddhist Light, he now held his own against the elder.

Meanwhile, the second avatar led Chi Lian to absorb bloodline energy, even using his own body to shield her from several attacks. Chi Lian, in turn, assisted him by draining their opponents’ power of bloodline, allowing him to strike the killing blows. Their coordination was seamless.

Black Tiger faced off against another Reunion elder. Despite the elder’s Buddhist Light enhancement, he was still being overpowered by Black Tiger’s relentless assault.

The Vermilion Bird worked in tandem with the first avatar, simultaneously subduing several cultivators under their control. The three Black Tortoises struck repeatedly, taking down nearly half of the enemy forces themselves.

The An family had over thirty cultivators, yet within less than a quarter of an hour, most of the fighting had concluded. Only Black Tiger and Li Daoyuan remained locked in combat, but the others didn’t intervene—instead, they busied themselves clearing the battlefield, waiting until the last two had finished off their opponents.

Once the battle was fully over and the battlefield cleared, not a single one of their side had perished. They had even captured five enemies. The only injury was Li Daoyuan, who had sustained some wounds.

Immediately, the first avatar withdrew all the cultivators into his spatial world—this time, even Li Daoyuan and Black Tiger were included—so they could recover their true essence.

While the battle raged, Tang Xinyao had secretly contacted the Tang family’s Fifth Elder, Tang Fengkuan, via a communication talisman: *"Fifth Elder, there’s news about that treasure you’ve been searching for—it’s gone to exterminate the Ancient Demon. You’d better hurry and check, or he might die there!"*

*"Is the information reliable?"* Tang Fengkuan responded at once.

*"Of course! Would I dare deceive you? The news is absolutely accurate!"* Tang Xinyao replied without batting an eye.

She knew no one would believe the first avatar’s words, so the best way to get someone to investigate was to tell the Fifth Elder that Tang Xiaofeng had been found. And sure enough, the impulsive elder would rush to verify it himself.

Just as expected, the Fifth Elder replied, *"I’ll go find him immediately,"* before falling silent. She guessed his impatient nature would drive him to fly there at full speed to investigate.

Once the avatars’ battle concluded, Tang Xinyao clapped her hands cheerfully as if nothing had happened.

*"Brilliant!"*

The avatars, aware of her cunning, dared not engage her further. They quickly bid farewell and departed, hastening toward the source of the planet’s primordial energy.

"Hey, don’t rush off!" Tang Xinyao immediately chased after him. "You mentioned something about alien races earlier—what was that about?"

Tang Qianyu and Tang Hao quickly followed suit. Having finally gotten news of Tang Xiaofeng, they wanted to hear more details.

The other Tang disciples also trailed behind curiously, eager to hear what the doppelgänger had to say. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Seeing them catch up, the doppelgänger realized he couldn’t shake them off. Figuring there was no harm in explaining about the alien races, he began recounting the tale as they walked.

The Tang disciples listened intently, as if absorbed in a thrilling story.
