Chapter 2948: Chapter 2948

Ye Liuyun had a rough idea of what to do next. He exited the spatial world and, accompanied by Heiyan and Shaying, continued his journey toward the next planet.

The Divine Order of Ten Thousand Gods was still guiding him, but he had no clue what its true purpose was. He could only wait until they reached the next planet to see. If the Divine Order didn’t claim it, he planned to summon his avatar to take it instead.

However, upon arrival, the Divine Order suddenly activated on its own and absorbed the planet outright.

After collecting several more planets, the Divine Order halted again. Ye Liuyun didn’t bother questioning it this time. Instead, he summoned his first avatar and had it communicate with the source energy.

Since the first avatar’s internal energy was primarily demonic in nature, the communication wasn’t too difficult. Rather than claiming the planet for himself, the avatar assisted the second avatar in absorbing it. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

They pressed onward, but this time, the Divine Order stopped again after collecting only a few planets.

Ye Liuyun guessed that the Divine Order must be nearing its limit, which was why it was pausing more frequently now. Seeing no reason to hold back, he simply had his avatar claim another planet.

From then on, the Divine Order moved in fits and starts, and Ye Liuyun didn’t dare take too much for himself. He left most of the work to the first avatar. It was just as well—his spatial world was now filled with surrendered ancient demons, so absorbing more demonic planets would help accommodate them.

After the first avatar had claimed over a dozen demonic planets under the Divine Order’s guidance, they finally arrived at the core of the Scattered Demon Realm.

Only seven demonic planets remained. The largest one at the center was none other than the planet where the Dark Star resided.

During this time, Ye Liuyun had been using his golden pupils to monitor the Dark Star’s movements. He had already spotted the grand hall where it waited.

The Dark Star had returned to its throne within the hall, silently awaiting Ye Liuyun’s arrival without any intention of striking first. In its eyes, all the planets Ye Liuyun had absorbed were merely gifts for it to claim later—there was no need to rush.

The Divine Order continued guiding him toward the remaining planets, but it no longer absorbed any itself. Ye Liuyun suspected that it was preparing to claim the largest planet and had no room left for the others.

Without hesitation, he helped Lei Ming, the Nine-Headed Demon Dragon, the Thieving Cat-Demon Lion, the Tiger-Headed Beast King, Heishan, and Lin Fei’er each claim a planet, allowing them to strengthen the power of their own spatial worlds.

Now, the scattered Demon Realm was reduced to just this lone planet, waiting to be claimed by the Ten Thousand Gods Order.

Ye Liuyun knew that the most perilous battle was about to begin.

He ordered the Demon Vine, the Sealing Demon Stele, and the soldiers piloting the massive orbs to prepare for combat. Then, accompanied by Heiyan and Shaying, he set off to find the Dark Star.

He felt that since this was the last ancient demon planet to be taken, he should at least notify its leader—even if they were to fight, he wanted to make his stance clear.

But Heiyan immediately sent him a mental warning: *"Master, the hall where the Dark Star resides is rigged with traps, and the stone pillars contain powerful wraiths..."*

Having witnessed Ye Liuyun claim so many ancient demon planets, Heiyan genuinely didn’t want anything to happen to him.

Hearing this, Ye Liuyun halted.

*"Fair point. It hasn’t even come out to meet me and still wants to seize the Ten Thousand Gods Order. There’s really nothing to discuss. At the very least, I shouldn’t walk into its hall and fall into an ambush.*

*If it wants to see me, it can come out itself. I’ll just take the Ten Thousand Gods Order and claim this planet directly!"*

With that thought, he immediately changed direction and, guided by the Ten Thousand Gods Order, headed toward a Thousand Burial Mountain to enter the planet.

Meanwhile, the Dark Star had already detected Ye Liuyun’s presence through its divine sense. When it saw him approaching the hall, the corner of its lips curled slightly. But when Ye Liuyun suddenly changed course, it grew anxious.

It knew the speed at which the Ten Thousand Gods Order claimed planets—a mere flash of golden light, and the deed was done. Everyone on the planet would be swept away by the local origin energy.

If it didn’t act before the Ten Thousand Gods Order took effect, even it might be dragged away along with the entire planet.

So it had no choice but to abandon the hall and rush toward Ye Liuyun’s new destination. The moment it moved, two ancient demons at the fourth level of Guiyi also soared into the sky in pursuit.

Ye Liuyun sensed them with his divine sense but didn’t stop. Instead, he pressed on straight toward the origin energy.

There were ancient demon guards stationed there as well.

The moment Ye Liuyun spotted them, he immediately deployed two massive orbs, their energy cannons trained directly on the creatures.

But the guards had already begun forming ranks upon seeing him. Strangely, after assembling, they made no move to attack—nor did they waste words. Instead, they simply yielded the area to Ye Liuyun without resistance.

"So this place is the same—no intention of putting up a fight!"

Seeing this, Ye Liuyun let out a small sigh of relief. Still, he kept the two orbs hovering nearby, just in case.

As it happened, Wu Xing was already rushing toward him, and those orbs might still prove useful.

When Wu Xing saw the massive spheres Ye Liuyun had unleashed, he let out a roar, attempting to stall him—fearing that if Ye Liuyun released the Divine Decree, he might immediately claim the planet.

Little did Wu Xing know that the Divine Decree was beyond Ye Liuyun’s control. He mistakenly believed Ye Liuyun was the one commanding it.

Meanwhile, Hei Yan and Sha Ying tensed the moment they spotted the two ancient demons accompanying Wu Xing.

*"The two behind the clan leader—one possesses immense power of bloodline, known as the Blood King, while the other wields formidable soul force, called the spirit master. The clan leader himself is even more well-rounded. Neither of us stands a chance against them."*

Hei Yan and Sha Ying both sent urgent mental messages to Ye Liuyun, urging him to strike first when the time came.

Ye Liuyun’s golden pupils had already assessed the strength of Wu Xing’s trio.

Among the three, Wu Xing’s true essence was the most condensed—far surpassing that of Hei Yan and Sha Ying. The other two demons, however, fell short in that regard.

Yet even from a distance, Ye Liuyun could feel the oppressive aura of one’s power of bloodline—so potent it seemed comparable to his own. The other’s soul force was so refined it manifested almost like a physical body, its form nearly identical to the demon’s true physique. Clearly, its soul power far exceeded Ye Liuyun’s.

As for Wu Xing, though his bloodline and soul force were inferior to those two, his soul strength was still on par with Ye Liuyun’s.

"Such power!"

Even Ye Liuyun couldn’t help but marvel at the sheer strength of these ancient demons. He estimated that even if he cultivated to their level, he’d only be on par with them.

Without hesitation, Ye Liuyun recalled Heiyan and Shaying. Since the two stood no chance against these foes, there was no point sending them to their deaths.

"Fire a single warning shot—halt their advance! Don’t let them get any closer!"

Ye Liuyun immediately commanded the massive orb behind him.

A moment later, an energy cannon discharged with a thunderous roar. Though the blast wasn’t aimed directly at Wu Xing and the other two, its threatening intent was unmistakable.
