Chapter 2947: Chapter 2947

Ye Liuyun had confiscated all the skeletal puppets, erasing the divine consciousness imprinted on them before handing them over to Hei Shan for control, thereby bolstering the combat strength of the demon army.

The guards had all been taken into Ye Liuyun’s spatial world, leaving only Hei Yan and Sha Ying—the two strongest among them—to follow the guidance of the Ten Thousand Gods’ Decree and collect the origin energy of this place.

In this battle, an entire squad of Wu Ling’s guards had been captured alive by Ye Liuyun. The wraiths were sent to the Netherworld to assist Zhuge Feiyu and the Asura in guarding it, while the thirty skeletal puppets enhanced the demon army’s might. Additionally, there were over a million surrendered ancient demons, countless demon corpses, and their energy cores.

The Demon-Sealing Stele and the Demon Vine had both advanced to the fourth level of the Unity Realm, giving Ye Liuyun even greater confidence when facing Wu Xing in the future.

The two guard squads under Wu Xing had brought such formidable wraiths, puppets, and demonic beasts that Ye Liuyun surmised the forces by Wu Xing’s own side must be even stronger—likely meaning another fierce battle lay ahead.

Wu Xing, too, had not expected its two strongest squads to be so easily subdued by Ye Liuyun. This made it realize that Ye Liuyun’s strength far exceeded its initial estimations.

Moreover, it had already received word of Ye Liuyun’s possession of those four colossal orbs—absolute weapons of mass destruction. Even Wu Xing couldn’t guarantee it could withstand their attacks.

"No wonder he possesses such treasures—he truly is a difficult opponent!"

After some deliberation, Wu Xing finally left its grand hall, determined to seek out allies personally to deal with Ye Liuyun.

From then on, Ye Liuyun’s process of harvesting planets went much smoother. Even if ancient demons were stationed near the origin energy, they would step aside upon his arrival, none daring to raise a hand against him.

The final battle between the ancient demon race and Ye Liuyun had concluded. The remaining demons obeyed their patriarch’s orders, allowing the Ten Thousand Gods’ Decree to take the planets without resistance.

Furthermore, they had all learned of the destructive power of Ye Liuyun’s four orbs and feared he might unleash them again, bombarding them mercilessly.

Thus, whenever these ancient demons encountered Ye Liuyun afterward, they would either turn and flee or gaze at him with terror in their eyes, no longer daring to roar in defiance.

After cultivating for some time and enhancing their strength, the demonic beasts and women were eager to engage in battle. However, they found the world had grown quiet. Only after questioning Ye Liuyun did they learn what had transpired outside. Immediately, they rushed into the spatial world of his clone to spar with the captured ancient demons.

After absorbing over a dozen more planets, the Ten Thousand Gods’ Decree suddenly ceased emerging to communicate with the origin energies.

"Hmm? Has it absorbed enough?" Ye Liuyun was equally puzzled.

Meanwhile, the ancient demons waiting on the planet were also baffled. They had prepared themselves to be taken away, yet nothing happened.

Curious, some of the demons cautiously approached to investigate. Spotting Ye Liuyun still there, they didn’t dare get too close, observing him from a distance instead.

Unsure what to do, Ye Liuyun decided to consult the Divine Command Token while ordering Qiong Qi to set up a defensive formation—just in case the impatient demons decided to attack him.

Three days passed, and the Divine Command Token remained silent. Ye Liuyun repeatedly asked it for guidance, to the point where the token grew so annoyed that it abruptly leaped out of his consciousness. It shone a golden light toward the planet’s primordial energy before darting back into his mind.

At first, Ye Liuyun thought the token was about to claim the planet, but to his surprise, it retreated immediately.

The waiting demons, seeing the Divine Command Token emerge, also assumed it was time for the planet to be taken. They scrambled back to alert their kin.

Still confused, Ye Liuyun was puzzling over the token’s actions when suddenly, the planet’s primordial energy transmitted an obscure divine message to him.

He only managed to decipher the words "claim it," while the rest remained unclear.

As he mulled it over, the Book Demon couldn’t resist chiming in, scolding him: "Honestly, how dense can you be? It’s obvious the Divine Command Token is handing the planet over to you—for you to claim! Why are you hesitating? A martial cultivator must seize resources without hesitation. What’s with the politeness?"

"Handing it to me? So that’s what it meant!" Finally understanding, Ye Liuyun hurriedly thanked the Divine Command Token. But as usual, the token gave no response.

"No wonder it ignores you. Even I can’t stand your dithering!" the Book Demon grumbled before falling silent again. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

"...Am I really that bad?"

Ye Liuyun sighed inwardly.

"Seems I’m still too hesitant when it comes to claiming resources."

Without hesitation, he immediately began absorbing the planet. The planet’s core energy cooperated seamlessly, swiftly activating and pulling the entire celestial body into Ye Liuyun’s spatial world, where it settled into place.

Ye Liuyun quickly realized that integrating this ancient demonic planet into his spatial world would diversify its structure and amplify its power. Previously, he had rarely drawn upon his spatial world’s energy in battle, fearing he might deplete it. But now, this reserve could serve as a lifeline in dire situations.

He summoned Ye Ling back from his second avatar and asked her, "Absorbing this ancient demonic planet—will it affect my core energy?"

"Not at all!" Ye Ling replied without hesitation. "Your spatial world already contains hundreds of planets. One ancient demonic planet won’t make a difference. In fact, it’ll diversify your world and strengthen its power. But don’t absorb too many—one or two is enough. Any more could have unwanted effects."

"That’s good to hear," Ye Liuyun mused. "Just how strong is my spatial world’s core energy now? If I were to borrow its power in battle, what level of opponent could I face?"

Ye Ling considered for a moment before answering, "Given your current strength, you can’t draw all of its power at once. But the portion you *can* access would let you challenge opponents a full major realm above you. And you could use it over a dozen times without damaging the core energy."

Ye Liuyun nodded, reassured. A power that allowed him to leap an entire major realm—that meant he could contend with opponents at the Unity Eighth Layer. And with over ten uses at his disposal, it was more than enough to ensure his survival.

Next, he inquired about the state of his second avatar’s spatial world.

Ye Ling responded, "The core energies have already merged. His spatial world’s foundation is quite strong now."

"Could he absorb one of these ancient demonic planets?" Ye Liuyun pressed, concerned that if the Ten Thousand Gods Decree stopped collecting them, he might need both avatars to assist in gathering at least one each.

"He could absorb one," Ye Ling confirmed.
