Chapter 2895: Chapter 2895

The two disciples standing opposite Ye Liuyun were initially startled, their eyes flashing with fear.

But soon, they were branded with slave seals and fell under his control.

The female disciple immediately turned to the patrol leader and reported, "Captain, he’s a local."

The captain nodded. Though he found Ye Liuyun’s behavior somewhat excessive, the unmistakable aura of Buddhist light confirmed his identity as a local. Satisfied, he waved his hand and led the group away without further investigation.

Through the slave seals, Ye Liuyun instructed the two newly controlled disciples to follow the patrol back first and return to him later.

Once they were gone, Ye Liuyun shut the door and let out a long exhale.

"That was close. Good thing the Buddhist light provided cover!" He had been worried they might detect the fluctuations of his soul power.

But his current soul strength far surpassed theirs, and with the Buddhist light masking his actions, they had no chance of noticing his subtle manipulations.

Not wanting to risk running into more patrols and stirring up unnecessary trouble, Ye Liuyun stayed in his room to cultivate, waiting for the two Tang family disciples to return.

Two hours later, the pair—now dressed in casual clothes—entered the inn. After a brief meal to maintain appearances, they made their way to the guest quarters and slipped into Ye Liuyun’s room.

Ye Liuyun immediately performed a soul search to extract their knowledge. The male disciple was named Tang Xiaofeng, and the female was Tang Wan—a couple.

The Tang family was currently on high alert, preparing for potential ambushes. The Blood Spirit Pool, in particular, was heavily guarded with multiple layers of defense, both overt and hidden.

As for the combat training secret realm, they weren’t assigned to guard it. Evil Creature couldn’t seize control of the realm or relocate it, so it was deemed low priority. Beyond that, these two held low status and knew little else of importance.

Next, Ye Liuyun studied Tang Xiaofeng’s strength, techniques, and other details before storing the real disciple in his spatial world. He then donned the man’s Interspatial Ring and shapeshifted into his likeness.

"From now on, I am Tang Xiaofeng. Let’s go—I’ll return to the Tang family with you," Ye Liuyun said to Tang Wan.

Tang Wan stared at Ye Liuyun in shock, her voice trembling with concern as she asked, "Master... did you kill Xiaofeng?"

Though she couldn’t defy Ye Liuyun, she still cared deeply for Tang Xiaofeng.

"No," Ye Liuyun replied calmly. "As long as you both cooperate, I won’t harm either of you. I’m impersonating Tang Xiaofeng to infiltrate the Tang family. Help me maintain this disguise, and I’ll release you both in the end."

Hearing this, Tang Wan relaxed slightly—but then her face flushed crimson as a sudden realization struck her. *Xiaofeng and I are lovers. But now Master is pretending to be him... Does that mean I have to... with Master...?*

Ye Liuyun, sensing her thoughts through the slave seal, immediately cut in with a warning. "Don’t get any strange ideas. I won’t take advantage of you! But in front of others, you must treat me as Tang Xiaofeng. No slip-ups—act exactly as you normally would!"

"Yes!" Tang Wan answered obediently, suppressing her thoughts under the seal’s control.

With Tang Wan in tow, Ye Liuyun strode confidently into the Tang family estate, his expression betraying nothing. Tang Wan, however, tensed the moment they passed through the gates, terrified someone might recognize him. Only when they slipped in unchallenged did she exhale in relief.

Yet before they even reached their quarters, Ye Liuyun grew impatient. Eager to test himself in the combat training realm, he ordered Tang Wan to arrange their entry immediately.

Every Tang disciple had one monthly opportunity to enter the realm—but Tang Xiaofeng and Tang Wan, both still weak in cultivation, had always been too afraid to attempt it.

"Me too?" Tang Wan asked nervously.

"Yes," Ye Liuyun confirmed.

Though uneasy, she obeyed, requesting leave from the patrol captain before returning to Ye Liuyun with a troubled expression.

"Master... the Frenzied Battle Hell is extremely dangerous. Shouldn’t we prepare some armor or defensive treasures before entering?" she ventured cautiously.

"Frenzied Battle Hell?" Ye Liuyun frowned in confusion.

"That’s what we call it privately—because the battles inside never stop," she explained.

"Alright!" Ye Liuyun responded, his heart brimming with anticipation for the effects of the secret realm.

"No need, I already have all the armor and equipment!"

After replying to Tang Wan, Ye Liuyun immediately set off with her toward the Frenzied Battle Secret Realm. Tang Wan trailed behind him, on the verge of tears, convinced she was doomed this time.

Through the Slaving Seal, Ye Liuyun sensed her thoughts and said impatiently, "When the time comes, I’ll find a way to pull you into my spatial world. You won’t need to fight. Calm yourself and don’t give us away!"

Hearing this, Tang Wan finally relaxed, repeatedly thanking Ye Liuyun. Her expression returned to normal, no longer looking as if she were mourning her own death.

When the two arrived at the secret realm’s entrance, Ye Liuyun presented Tang Xiaofeng’s identity token to register, smoothly gaining entry.

Tang Wan, however, remained tense. Watching Ye Liuyun act so naturally that no one could detect anything amiss, she couldn’t help wondering if he made a habit of such deceptions.

Ignoring her, Ye Liuyun began surveying their surroundings as soon as they entered.

The secret realm was vast, filled with sprawling mountain ranges shrouded in thick mist. Directly ahead lay a valley, its surroundings also enveloped in dense fog—so impenetrable that even his golden pupils couldn’t pierce through it.

From Tang Xiaofeng’s memories, Ye Liuyun knew the moment they stepped into that valley, the attacks would begin. So without hesitation, he pulled Tang Wan into his spatial world to ensure her safety.

Inside, Tang Wan saw Tang Xiaofeng and realized Ye Liuyun hadn’t lied—he truly hadn’t killed him.

Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun unsheathed his Demon-Slaying Blade, summoned his doppelgänger, and strode into the valley with his double at his side.

"ROAR!"

A beast’s roar echoed through the valley, signaling the start of their battle.

Ye Liuyun didn’t dare underestimate the danger. Knowing lives were truly at stake here, he and his doppelgänger stood back-to-back, blades raised, alert and ready.

Dense fog rolled down from the mountains on both sides as savage beasts of all kinds came charging out. Ye Liuyun and his clone swept their golden gazes over the creatures and confirmed they were all at the seventh level of the Dominator Realm.

"Not bad—just seventh-level Dominators!"

A wave of relief washed over him as he casually swung his blade at the fastest-charging beast. Yet to his surprise, the strike didn’t cleave the creature in two—it only sliced halfway through its body.

"These beasts have unusually tough bodies!" his clone remarked, equally astonished. Only after fully unleashing his blade’s intent did he manage to split one of the creatures apart.

The two of them began swinging their blades in rapid succession, locked in fierce combat with the relentless tide of beasts. While their strength was more than enough to kill the creatures individually, the sheer numbers were overwhelming—and more kept surging out of the mist, an endless, unknown horde.
