Chapter 478: Chapter 122: Destiny Believers After Divinity Ascension (Part 2)

[From Mortal Realm No. 5644, Main Profession: Level 102 All-Elements Magic Master, Destiny: King of War, No Divine Format yet]

And diagonally behind the old man, the information panel for a young girl holding a gilded scepter, her body wreathed in a holy glow, was marked with a different Destiny.

[From Mortal Realm No. 6666, Main Profession: Level 99 Holy Priest, Destiny: King of Territory, No Divine Format yet]

Then, as his gaze swept over the guards on duty at either side of the city gate, a flicker of surprise flashed through Qin Feng’s eyes.

The soldiers clad in Silver Moon Armor and holding Divine Patterned Long Spears were not only natives of the Divine Realm, but also Lord Players who had ascended.

They stood as still as statues, the moonlight patterns on their silver armor echoing the bas-reliefs on the city gate, exuding an invisible and intimidating pressure.

[From Mortal Realm No. 1550, possesses "Silver Moon City Divine Realm Guard" Identity Plate, Main Profession: Level 125 Holy Spear Knight, possesses Basic Divine Format, No Destiny Believers yet]

[Native of the Divine Realm, possesses "Silver Moon City Divine Realm Guard" Identity Plate, Main Profession: Level 149 Holy Spear Knight, possesses Basic Divine Format, No Destiny Believers yet]

Seeing this, Qin Feng quietly closed the Reconnaissance interface as the faint golden Divine Barrier around him subsided slightly.

This group of top-tier Lord Players from various Mortal Realms, along with the native Divine Realm Guards, made him keenly aware that the competition in the Divine Realm had already begun the moment he stepped through the gates of Silver Moon City.

Then, Qin Feng stood at the edge of the crowd, absentmindedly tracing the Divine Fire in his palm. His gaze swept over the top-tier experts from the various Mortal Realms as he muttered to himself:

’It seems...’

’Ascenders who arrive in the Divine Realm no longer need the status of a Divine Chosen Lord.’

’So their main combat strength is now determined by their main Profession.’

’And their secondary Profession.’

He glanced up at a sturdy man in Black Armor shouldering a giant axe, the berserker aura around the man was almost tangible.

’However, there’s no clear distinction between main and secondary Professions. Whichever Profession an Ascender has that is more powerful becomes their main one.’

With a thought, a faint, forest-green light appeared around Qin Feng, and the phantom of a dense forest flashed into existence behind him before vanishing.

’In my case... my main Profession should be Ranger.’

’My Destiny is King of War.’

The words had barely left his lips when he seemed to remember something. He raised an eyebrow, his tone tinged with surprise.

"Huh?"

’I’m not one of the King of War’s believers anymore?’

The Divine Format in his palm grew faintly warm, and a flash of insight struck him. He chuckled in realization.

"Oh."

"I see."

"Now that I have a Basic Divine Format, I’m a ’Deity’ of the same status as the King of War."

"So, instead of having a Destiny Deity to believe in, like back in the Mortal Realm, I now need to have Destiny Believers who believe in me."

A flash of excitement lit up Qin Feng’s eyes at this discovery, and he couldn’t help but mutter to himself:

’Does that make me a new King of War, then?’

The excitement passed, and confusion quickly followed. He frowned, lightly tapping his chin.

’But how do I acquire Destiny Believers?’

Just then, a prompt regarding Mythical Level Heroes flashed on his system panel. His pupils contracted, and he murmured with uncertainty:

"Huh?"

’Any Mythical Level Hero I can bring to the Divine Realm to help me fight counts as a Destiny Believer?’

Qin Feng stroked his chin, recalling all the different Lord Players who had followed the King of War in the Mortal Realm. He then shook his head, a wry note in his voice.

’This doesn’t seem to be the same as the King of War’s "Destiny Believers," does it?’

’Is it because my Divine Level isn’t high enough?’

’Or is there some other reason?’

At that moment, Qin Feng’s gaze swept over the crowd in the square again. He noticed something, and his frown deepened.

’But how come none of these Ascenders have even a single Destiny Believer?’

’Is it because Mythical Level Divine Chosen Heroes are too hard to get?’

As he thought, a theory gradually formed in his mind, and he reasoned to himself:

’That seems right.’

’Basically, any native hero who reaches Mythical Level is a contender for the title of Heaven’s Chosen Ruler.’

’Even if they fail to obtain that title, they won’t easily bind their souls to a Lord Player to become their completely loyal Divine Chosen Hero.’

’And most Lord Players wouldn’t have a heaven-defying, cheat-like Talent such as ’Hero Enhancement’.’

’One that can evolve a Legendary Level Divine Chosen Hero into a Mythical Level one.’

’Naturally...’

’They wouldn’t have their own Destiny Believers.’

Just as Qin Feng was lost in thought, the Divine Fire flickering on his fingertips, a crisp voice suddenly called out from behind him. A moment later, a small, soft, warm hand gently rested on his shoulder.

"Hey!"

"Old Qin!"

"I’m here too!"

Qin Feng whipped his head around to see Su Mumu standing there, looking bright and cheerful. A suit of Chain Armor studded with starlight accentuated her lively features, and the Stone of the Gods in her hand was emitting a faint, rainbow-colored halo.

She was like a curious child, her head swiveling back and forth. Her bright eyes darted everywhere, trying to take in all her surroundings at once, especially the Ascenders coming and going with their diverse auras. Her eyes were filled with wonder.

The wind at the gate of the Holy City lifted the ends of her hair. A golden haze settled on her shoulders, intertwining with the light from the Stone of the Gods to create a beautiful scene.
