Chapter 477: Chapter 122: Destiny Believers After Divinity Ascension

When the radiance of the Teleportation Gate tore through the Void, a wind unique to the Divine Domain, mingled with the scents of Holy Incense and ancient wood, was the first to surge forth.

That radiance was not the pale blue or crimson of a Mortal Realm Teleportation Array, but flowed like molten Gold, its edges entwined with delicate, silvery-white Divine Patterns. Each pattern silently chanted Divine Proverbs that Mortals could not comprehend.

The Teleportation Gate itself floated at the edge of a forest of towering, giant trees. Its frame was forged from some unknown material, its surface covered in naturally formed grooves of Divine Patterns. Within these grooves, a translucent substance like liquid starlight had congealed, refracting a rainbow-hued halo with the slightest movement.

The forest beyond the gate defied all knowledge of the Mortal Realm. The smallest trees here were over a thousand feet tall, their trunks so thick it would take dozens of people to link arms around them. The bark displayed an interwoven palette of deep ink-green and gilded gold, with pinpricks of shimmering light seeping from its cracked patterns, like the very pulse of the trees.

Layer upon layer of canopy obscured the sky, allowing only glimpses of the golden, cotton-like clouds drifting above through the gaps in the leaves and branches. Occasionally, a long-tailed Divine Bird would streak through the clouds, its call as crisp and clear as the striking of jade.

The ground was not the humus-rich soil of a Mortal Realm forest, but was instead covered in a layer of fine, pearlescent moss that was soft and resilient underfoot. Dotted amongst the moss were strange, palm-sized flowers with translucent, glass-like petals. Tiny, flame-shaped motes of light floated within their pistils, and when a breeze blew past, they would rustle and shed fine specks of light.

At that moment, the golden radiance of the Teleportation Gate flared brilliantly, and Qin Feng’s figure slowly stepped out from the light.

He was clad in golden Lion Armor enveloped in Divine Power. The armor’s surface was carved with complex, mystical inscriptions that flowed with a holy radiance as he moved. At his waist hung a distinctively unique Beheading Sword, its scabbard’s Gemstones refracting a fearsome glint under the light of the Divine Realm.

The moment he landed, a pale gold Divine Barrier automatically unfurled around him, suppressing the faint divine might that permeated the forest. This was the confidence granted by being at the Peak of Level 100 and possessing a Basic Divine Format, allowing him to tread the Divine Domain as if it were level ground.

Qin Feng raised a hand to dispel the lingering halo of Teleportation light around him. His gaze subconsciously swept across his surroundings, but it froze abruptly when it reached the depths of the forest, his pupils constricting slightly.

A few thousand yards ahead, within a gap in the sea of trees, stood a vast complex of medieval-style buildings. The most conspicuous was a Gothic spire that shot into the clouds, so tall it seemed to pierce the golden haze above. The tower was constructed from grayish-white Divine Stone, with every single stone brick engraved with defensive Divine Patterns. At its peak was embedded a fist-sized red crystal, looking down upon the forest like an eye of the Divine Realm.

The spire was surrounded by several equally magnificent castles. The castle walls were over five hundred feet high, and mounted upon them were giant ballistae forged from Divine Iron, their bolts glinting with a cold, metallic luster.

The castles were linked by suspended stone bridges, which were carved with bas-reliefs of Angels and Giant Dragons. A faint mist wreathed the bridges, making them seem as if they were floating in the air.

On the outskirts of the complex, a massive city wall could be faintly seen. Outside the wall grew groves of strange trees whose branches grew upward like sharp swords and bore shield-like leaves—evidently a natural defensive barrier.

Qin Feng narrowed his eyes, clearly feeling the pressure emanating from the building complex—a pressure that belonged to high-level Deities. It lay dormant like a slumbering behemoth, yet it was enough to make any being from the Mortal Realm shrink back in fear.

With a slight movement of his fingers, Divine Fire coalesced into a faint glow in his palm. The corners of his mouth curved into a smile that was a mixture of fighting spirit and anticipation.

The journey in the Divine Domain.

Begins here, in this mysterious sea of trees and this magnificent Holy City.

...

As Qin Feng passed through the sea of trees wreathed in Divine Patterns, the Gothic Holy City, glowing with a cold, moon-like splendor, finally spread out before him in its entirety.

The city gate was built from a single block of Ice Soul Divine Stone. At the top of the archway, over eight hundred feet high, were bas-reliefs of a silver moon and stars, their edges shimmering with fine streams of Divine Radiance. Hung directly above the center of the gate were three large, gilded words—Silver Moon City.

At this moment, the square beneath the arch was already thronged with figures. The crowd flowed like a woven tapestry, yet it was perfectly orderly. Each figure was wreathed in fluctuations of Divine Power, some strong, some weak. They were clearly all top-tier beings who had ascended from various Mortal Planes.

Qin Feng slowly blended into the edge of the crowd and subconsciously activated his standard Lord System to perform an Investigation of his surroundings. However, the interface only displayed a notification: "Target’s strength exceeds detection range. Unable to acquire information."

A knowing smile touched his lips. With a single thought, the unique, dark-gold Reconnaissance interface of his Riding and Cutting system’s "Recruit Prisoners" Talent instantly unfolded in his consciousness. This was a supreme authority that transcended the rules of Planes, and it had not failed him, not even in the Divine Domain.

In an instant, streams of information cascaded down like a waterfall, revealing the complete details of the crowd before his eyes.

Ahead and to his left, a burly man clad in Black Iron Heavy Armor and carrying a giant axe on his shoulder caught Qin Feng’s attention. His Reconnaissance data instantly materialized.

[From Mortal Realm #335, Main Profession: Heavy Armor Warrior (Level 97), Destiny: King of War, No Divine Format]

Next to the burly man stood a Knight in silver armor holding a Flaming Longsword. The fluctuations of Divine Power from him were even stronger than the warrior’s.

[From Mortal Realm #524, Main Profession: Flame Sword Saint (Level 107), Destiny: King of War, No Divine Format]

On a flight of stone steps not far away, an old man clad in a purple Magic Robe was idly twirling a Micro Thunderstorm between his fingertips. The Reconnaissance interface updated accordingly.
