Leo inquired as there was no way that this young woman would hand him the potion from the goodness of her heart.
"Fifty copper coins..."
The young woman shamelessly quoted a price.
"Fifty copper coins...!"
Leo almost puked the little blood left in him. Fifty copper coins was the same wage he had promised Hu and Fort,yet this woman wanted the same amount for a mere minor healing potions.
"Fifty copper coins for one,Ninety copper coins for two and a hundred and thirty-five for three..."
The young woman quoted as she brought out two more potions.
"Why don’t you rob me...!"
Leo glared at her as he retreived a hundred and thirty-five copper coins from the inventory. Though he had more than five thousand copper coins,Leo was not willing to spend so much,and mostly on a woman that hated him.
"Nice doing business with you..."
After counting the copper coins twice,the young woman thanked Leo with a rare smile that touched ones heart.
"Warm smile..."
Leo thought as he quickly shaked his head.
"Almost fell for it..."
Leo felt goosebumps,the young woman’s warm and charming smile had almost ensared him.
"Go back to work all I will deduct your pay...!"
"Hmm...!"
The grunting glaring version of the young woman returned as she stumped away.
"Even though these will not be of much use,they are better than nothing..."
Leo uncorked the three bamboo tubes and drank the potions one at time.

Leo cursed as he almost spit out the potion.
The potion was not just bitter but had a rotten smell and burnt ones throat.
"Can’t she make anything that would not make one want to puke..."

Leo wondered as he retreived the two system issued summoning jades in his possession and activated them all at once. And just like before,the was a blue light and two people walked out of the blue circle of light.

These two were a middle aged,a man and a woman. But what caught Leo’s eye was the woman’s bulging stomach.
"Pregnant...!"
Leo was dazed.
"How...?"
He directed the question to the system only for him to draw a blank.
"Rise..."
Leo ordered as he casted inspect on the two.

Was Leo’s first evaluation but his mind almost blanked out when he saw how much coin the man had,and could not help but mentally exclaim.

Leo felt a little bit jealous. The man was thousands of times richer than him.

Leo was confused,the previous system issued subordinates had no name,yet this merchant had one,was super rich,and his strength was second to Fort. Leo based this on amount of experience points each had. Juma,Fort and him were all at the fifth level,but Fort’s experience points were more than Juma’s and his,while Juma’s experience points were more than his.
"What did the system drop on me...?"

Leo shook hands with the two, pushing his dozen questions at the back of the mind.
"Welcome..."
Leo smiled as he welcomed the two.

The two said as the man supported his wife. His face was filled with care and worry at the same time.
"Is she okay...?"
Leo inquired, as he found a stone for the woman to seat on. His exhaustion long forgotten. The man took of his cloak,folded it and placed it on the stone for the wife to seat on. And that when it dawned on Leo,this pair of system issued subordinates were way too different from the previous ones. And it was not because they were married and expectant,but everything about them was different.
Their strength,their attire,the amount of copper coins on them,their demor. Everything was different. Though he missed it at first,a second look at the woman’s status made him realize that she lacked the ability attribute.
Her husband had persuade,Fort had Aura, Fortuna had luck,Hu had berserk, Gemini had replicate while he had two,loot and inspect,but this woman had none.

The thoughts just passed in Leo’s mind,before he pushed them back.
"I wonder what their story is..."
Leo was curious as he stepped back and let the man take care of his pregnant wife.

The woman said in between breaths.

The husband ordered, looking around for a place for her to lie on.

Leo offered.

The two said.
"I will help you finish setting it up..."
Leo and the man quickly erected the tent.

The man had just pulled out a very thick fur from thin air and laid it inside the small tent, before helping the wife in. Leo watched as the man pull out a couple of pillows and some exquisite boxes from thin air.
