Chapter 43: "Explain your treacherous act..."
From one of the small boxes,the man took out a vial of some liquid and mixed it from a small ceramic cup,also from another box,added some purple fluid to it, which Leo assumed was wine,before handing the cup to the wife.
And minutes later,the woman fell asleep,the painful look on her face was replaced with a relaxed look.
"That will do for now..."
The man said as he stored away the exquisite boxes. But this time,Leo saw where the boxes came from,and he quickly casted inspect on the small bracelet on the man’s wrist.

Though he had the inventory,Leo was interested with the spatial artifact. For him,it was easy moving things around in his inventory,but what about those around him or when the territory grew and trade was developed.

Leo suppressed his thoughts as the man approached him.
"Thank you once more young lord..."
"No worries..."
Leo smiled as he faced towards Hu and Fort.
"That middle aged man is Fort,an advanced blacksmith..."
Leo began introducing the members in his group.
"The young man working with him is Hu,a warrior..."
"That young woman is Fortuna,a beginner potionist..."
"And a terrible cook..."
Leo added the last part warning the man in advance.
"Really...?"
The man had a grin on as he looked at the young woman,who as if feeling the two men stare,turned towards them,and even with the distance,the two could clearly hear her grunt and shiver from her glare.
"And a witch to..."
Leo whispered as he averted his eyes.
The man could not help but let out a cold laugh.
"And that little boy is Gemini..."
The man repeated their names, memorizing them.
"Young lord looks unwell..."
The man observed.
"May I ask what’s ailing young lord..."
Leo was silent for a while,but decided to share with this subordinate of his. There was something about the man that made him feel comfortable around him.
"I may have exhausted my blood essence..."
The moment Leo said it,he realized where the feeling was coming from.
"Damn ability...!"
He mentally cursed,as it seemed that the man had used his persuasive ability on him.
"Did you just use your ability on me...!"
Leo’s voice rose a notch,as he glared at the man. As for the man,he was first shocked,and seconds later,his face was filled with fear,and out of the spatial bracelet came a sword.
"Stay away from us...!"
The man shouted, attracting the attention of the rest.
"Who are you...?"
The man inquired as he moved towards the tent, guarding his sleeping wife. As for Hu and Fort,they both dashed out and were currently standing between Leo and the new summon. Both were armed with a five feet measuring pole. As for Gemini,he was slowly approaching, Leo’s iron blade held ready to strike.
His idea was simple,wait for the fight to break out,and aim for the man’s legs, crippling him and letting big brother finish him off.
"Stay from us...!"
The man hissed as he adopted a defensive stance.
"How dare you point your sword at young lord...!"
Hu shouted as he activated his ability. He could feel that the current him was not the man’s opponent,but with the berserk ability activated,the man was no longer his opponent. This ability boosted his battle power by a star.
And as if not to be left behind,Fort , activated his ability,aura.
The merchant man was first dazed by the sudden increase in the young man’s power,and a second later,he almost puked blood,as his strength dropped by around thirty percent. His muscles felt tensed,his breathing rapid and even the sword he had had custom forged felt a pound heavier than before.
From the young man’s aura,he could tell that he was no match for him,leave alone the advanced blacksmith and the young lord. The two gave him the feeling of equals in terms of strength.
And there was the little boy,who was sneaking up on him.
As for the young woman,she had climbed on a pile of wood,with armed with a bow,an arrow already drawn.
"Stand down...!"
The calm but angry voice of the young lord reached everyone’s ears.Hu and Fort glared at the merchant man as the stepped back,but still close enough to intercept Incase the man attacked. Though Gemini stopped in his tracks, the iron blade still remained in its previous striking position,and Miss Fortuna arrow was still drawn,but the bow was facing the ground.
"The rest I can understand..."
"But that woman..."
The four moved so fast that by the time Leo wanted to stop them,Hu and Fort had placed themselves between him and the merchant,while Gemini had picked up the blade and what surprised him was the young woman. He had never thought that the young woman would bother help protect him.
If Leo did not know better,he would have felt grateful to her,but he knew well that this was all the doing of the system,which made him realize that in future,it would be best if his personal guard team and close ministers were all selected from the system issued summons.

Leo voice was cold.

The merchant man quickly dropped his sword and know towed. He knew well that he would not win if a fight broke out,and also,he did not know why but he seemed to have complete trust in the young lord,and his earlier act was out of instincts.

Hu hissed at the man.

The merchant man said.

Leo asked,as from the man explanation,Leo understood that this pair of husband and wife did not have a good time.
