"Eat my blade...!"
Leo shouted as he dashed towards the alpha,his blade tip was facing the ground an odd attack position.
Three feet from the alpha forest dire wolf,Leo swiftly twisted as he made a horizontal upward slash.
"Splurge...!"
Leo had the sound of blade cutting into flesh as he dodged to the left,pulling his sword along with him.
System Alert : You have criticality injured an uncommon ranked level four forest dire wolf...
"Bastard trying to sneak attack me...!"
Leo cursed at the wailing wolf that had attempted a sneak attack at him. If Leo had not prepared for it,he would have had to forcefully receive the attack.
With the alpha’s ability to veil the presence of the pack,Leo could only up his caution.
"Is that all...?"
Leo sneered at the shadows lurking around him. He had counted eleven of them,that is ten plus the one that had just attacked him.
The alpha forest dire wolf looked at the wailing dire wolf, bleeding out from the deep slash on its front paws,and glared at Leo before howling at the sky. The lurking shadows howled back before they all rashed out,with Leo at the center and point of their attack.

"An impromptu quest..."
Leo smiled as he tightly his blade.
"For the rewards...!"
He screamed as he quickly parried an attack from a level three dire wolf that had pounced at him. The pary was followed by a vertical slash,that left a deep cut on the wolves left front limb.

As he parried and counterattacked,Leo realized that the forest dire wolf attacks were limited to only the nine level three forest dire wolf. The three level four dire wolves were lurking at the edge, covering his escape path while the alpha stared him down.
"Is this the system doing...?"
Though Leo was lost in his mind,it did not affect his fighting capabilities.

Leo had no time to enjoy the kill. The death of one of their own enraged the pack,making them more ferocious,but that was all. Any that dared to come up to a foot from Leo faced his iron blade.
Leo alternated between slashes and thrust.
Each time he swang his blade,a dire wolf would be left with a critical injury and before it could retreat, Leo’s sword was thrust at its weak points.

Leo was only ninety experience points from leveling up. Though he was not afraid of the level three uncommon ranked dire wolf attacks,Leo beleived that the current him was no match against the combined attack of the three level four dire wolves. And if the three joined parties with the alpha,Leo would end up retreating.

Leo said as he launched a crazy furry of attacks on the remaining dire wolves.

When it saw the last of its pack member fall, the alpha wolf howled to the sky as it pitch black eyes redenned and it’s claws lengthened. It fur stood tall while the corrosive fluid on it fangs glittered. Before,the small forest vegetation withered when the fluid dropped on them,but now,they turned to puddles.

Leo sneered at the enraged alpha as he sheathed his sword.
"Am going to beat you into submission..."
Leo adopted a horse stance. After the level up,both his strength and speed had almost tripled,and a mere level five uncommon ranked beast was no longer his match. With the minions killed,this boss was about to get a beating of its life time.
"Auu..!"
The alpha howled once more as it rashed out. Though it was a beast and it’s intelligence was not developed,it still understood that Leo had taunted it.
"That it...!"
Leo had an evil grin as he ducked to the left and punched out.
