Chapter 396: Chapter 295: Arrival

The shuttle bus slowly came to a stop beside the Gulfstream G650.

As soon as everyone got off, they saw three flight attendants walking down the jet’s stairs.

They were graceful figures, standing in a neat line beside the stairs to welcome the group.

Nearly every flight attendant was stunningly beautiful. Their delicate faces were like meticulously carved works of art, a pleasing sight to behold.

Moreover, they all had very long legs, which were accentuated by their very short skirts, making them appear even more slender and elegant. It was a display that fully showcased their feminine grace and charm.

Feng Mountain, however, scoffed at this style of dress, which seemed deliberately tailored to certain low-brow tastes.

’This outfit is a bit too much. Do they really need to rely on such superficial things to grab attention when receiving guests?’

’It’s completely unnecessary.’

Feng Mountain paid them no more mind and was the first to ascend the stairs and walk into the aircraft.

The cramped space he had imagined was nowhere to be found; instead, the interior was exceptionally spacious.

The front of the cabin featured club seating for four, while deeper inside were two single seats and a sofa. The cabin’s decor was the epitome of luxury and refinement, with all seats upholstered in top-grade leather.

The cabin walls were adorned with exquisite decorative patterns that emitted a soft, magnificent glow under the lights.

The carpet underfoot was also a thick, soft, high-end variety. Walking on it felt like treading on clouds.

Every detail exuded the aircraft’s luxury and prestige.

’You really get what you pay for,’ he marveled to himself. ’There’s a reason it’s so expensive.’

’This 68 million is definitely worth it.’

He found a single seat by the window and settled in. A sense of softness and comfort immediately washed over him. The seat was exquisitely designed and perfectly ergonomic; every curve and detail seemed crafted to allow a person to sit in the most relaxed posture possible. Feng Mountain felt as if his entire body was gently enveloped. It was exceptionally pleasant, and the fatigue from his journey seemed to dissipate.

Following him, Yves, Nash, and Director Roland also found their seats in the cabin. They looked around curiously at the interior, chatting quietly amongst themselves.

Then, the three beautiful flight attendants entered the cabin.

With a friendly yet professional smile, Mova began to softly explain the various entertainment facilities on board, such as the oversized screen, the movie system, and the high-quality sound system for relaxing and enjoying music.

She also went over the rest facilities, like the seats that could be adjusted into comfortable beds, and described the various types of food available on the flight, from exquisite meals to a wide selection of drinks.

"That’s not necessary. Let’s just depart. We’re going to..." Feng Mountain had no patience for these introductions. All he wanted was to take off as soon as possible and reach their destination. He then looked at Yves. "Yves, where are we headed?"

Yves quickly poked his head out from his seat. "Baird City, Texas."

"Understood. We’ll take off in five minutes." After receiving the destination, Mova saw that Feng Mountain was reluctant to speak with her. Since the client had his preferences, she wouldn’t insist; ensuring a smooth completion of the flight mission was the top priority.

With that, she gave a polite nod and turned toward the cockpit to coordinate takeoff arrangements with the flight crew.

「Soon.」

With a low rumble, the Gulfstream G650 began to move slowly, like a graceful beast poised to strike, gliding along the runway.

If there was one thing Feng Mountain liked about this plane, it was the cabin windows.

The windows were rounded, measuring 0.71 by 0.52 meters, and from his seat, he could comfortably watch the scenery outside.

Just then, Mova approached Feng Mountain with light steps, a bottle of water in her hand. She bent down slightly, revealing her deep cleavage, and spoke softly with a gentle smile on her face.

"Mr. Feng, the plane is about to take off. The estimated flight time to Baird City is seven hours. If you need to rest during the flight, you can select the rest mode, and the seat will adjust automatically to help you sleep more comfortably."

"Of course, I can also keep you company and chat during the journey."

’A distance of 7,000 kilometers, and it only takes seven hours to get there.’

’That’s 1,000 kilometers per hour.’

’Fack, that’s fast.’

Feng Mountain was slightly taken aback when he heard the arrival time. He did a quick mental calculation of the speed and was genuinely surprised. He quickly recovered, however, reaching out to take the bottled water Mova offered while completely ignoring her offer to chat.

"Thank you, but I’d prefer to be alone."

Mova was a smart woman and immediately understood the meaning behind Feng Mountain’s words. Not only was she not offended, but she actually felt a great sense of relief.

’The head office had told me to satisfy this VIP’s every request, and I was really worried. I was afraid of running into one of those creepy clients who would make perverted and unreasonable demands.’

’The economy isn’t great right now, and a high-paying, easy job like this isn’t easy to come by.’

’I had even prepared myself to make a sacrifice.’

’But this Mr. Feng is surprisingly cold. He hasn’t made any inappropriate moves toward me. With that, the worries I had just vanished without a trace.’

’It’s actually a bit of a shame!’

’Actually, this Mr. Feng is quite a catch. He’s charming, rich, and has close ties with the higher-ups at headquarters.’

"Of course. If you need anything, please press the call button. I won’t disturb your rest!"
