Chapter 983: Chapter 54: Demon Summoning_4

Someone shouted in alarm from behind Ah Dai, yelling, "No, this is a demon’s summoning, how dare you use such magic, aren’t you afraid of divine retribution?" The summoning of demons is a type of dark forbidden magic that can call forth demons from the Demon Realm to attack enemies. However, the biggest drawback is that the summoned dark creatures will not return to the Demon Realm, and moreover, as long as no one stops the magic, the summoning will continue unabated, and the dark creatures that emerge later will be even more powerful. Even among dark magicians, this magic is absolutely forbidden to use, as invoking this spell also requires a great deal of energy. Unexpectedly, it had been cast by this black-robed magician.

The leading black-robed mage appeared very weary after using this magic, only able to stand steadily with the support of an assassin behind him. He sneered, "All the pigs of the Empire of Huasheng should die. Divine retribution? Here, I am the heaven. Will the Sky God you worship come to save your pitiful lives? The great demons will devour all your souls, condemning you to eternal damnation. Ha ha, ha ha ha ha." His laughter was filled with bitterness and hatred.

By this time, the first skeleton had reached Ah Dai. The black magic bullet had vanished as the skeleton charged forward, and before Ah Dai could catch his breath, the skeleton’s bone knife was already slashing toward him. Faced with such a bizarre scene, Ah Dai’s heart jolted, and the white light of his vigorous True Qi shone brightly, warding off the dark aura emanating from the skeleton. With a sudden punch, he blasted the skeleton into powder under the immense power of the True Qi. But behind the skeleton, one dark spirit after another emerged, continuously crawling out from the dark hexagram. In just a short moment, seven or eight had already appeared.

Just then, a purple flame suddenly showered down from the sky, the searing energy engulfing the emerging dark creatures completely, and an unpleasant odor filled the air as those undead beings turned to ash. By the back door of the Mage Guild, six elderly men dressed in magic robes of various colors appeared, their faces serious and their eyes flashing with anger as they continuously chanted spells. The great fluctuations of magical energy emanating from their bodies demonstrated their formidable power.

The leading black-robed magician was startled. His mission here had been to weaken the Mage Guild’s strength, and if possible, eliminate as many magicians as possible. Their plan had been meticulous and effective; had the usually peaceful Mage Guild not been alerted in time, the large-scale assassination attempt from the Assassin’s Guild would have caught them unprepared for spellcasting, resulting in heavy casualties. But perhaps it was divine protection after all, Ah Dai and the Yan Shi brothers had arrived at this time. With Ah Dai’s superior martial arts, they had disrupted the assassins’ attack, foiling the plans of the dark figures. What the black-robed magician hadn’t anticipated was the presence of the Guild Master and the five Elders of the Mage Guild, who would usually be stationed at other branches. Facing six mages of Magician Level, there would be no favorable outcome for them. He commanded in a deep voice, "Let’s go." The assassins rapidly covered the retreat of the five black-robed mages. As they left, he waved the Netherworld Wand in his hand, sending an eerie green light into the dark hexagram.

More dark creatures surged from the black hexagram on the ground. Knowing that reinforcements had arrived on his side and driven by intense hatred for the Assassin’s Guild, Ah Dai leaped up, chasing after the dark-clad figures about to escape. The silver body in his Dantian radiated brightly under his activation, instantly elevating his remaining strength to its peak as he shot yellow energy strands at the dark figures, entangling them.

However, Ah Dai had forgotten about the black hexagram on the ground. Just as he was about to leap over it, suddenly, a huge dark shadow surged out of it. Ah Dai had no time to dodge; the shadow struck him squarely in the chest, sending him flying. Because he had directed most of his energy into the attack, the protective True Qi around his body greatly weakened, and the tremendous impact caused a strong shock to his organs. The Guardian Ring flashed timely, emitting a white light to protect his body, but the force was so immense, it made Ah Dai’s chest bones crack. If not for the Giant Spirit Snake Skin light armor protection, his ribs might have fractured on the spot. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

With a thunderous crash, Ah Dai’s body was embedded into the sturdy ceiling of the Mage Guild’s great hall; he spat out several mouthfuls of blood. The silver body in his Dantian glowed faintly, safeguarding his internal organs. The intense pain made Ah Dai feel dizzy, and he could never have imagined suffering such grave injuries shortly after his growth in power upon stepping into the continent.

The dark shadow that had burst from the black hexagram had landed on the ground; it was a six to seven meters long bone dragon. If not for the spaciousness of the Mage Guild’s great hall, there might not have been enough room to accommodate such an enormous creature. It was the one that had rammed its sturdy head into Ah Dai’s chest, providing the dark-clad men an opportunity to escape. Before being thrown by the bone dragon, the energy strands Ah Dai had released managed to capture several assassins; swung by Ah Dai’s momentum, they flew toward the newly emerged bone dragon. The bone dragon roared furiously, its massive claws catching the assassins. With green light flashing in its eyes, it didn’t hesitate to tear them apart, reducing them to shreds amidst their screams. As their flesh and blood splattered everywhere, the bloody sight made the members of the Mage Guild nauseous.
