Chapter 246: Chapter 54 Demon Summoning_4

Someone behind Ah Dai cried out in alarm, "No, that’s demon summoning! Are you not afraid of divine punishment for using such Dark Forbidden Magic?" Demon summoning, a type of Dark Forbidden Magic, could call forth demons from the Demon Realm to attack enemies. However, the major drawback was that the dark creatures summoned would never return to the Demon Realm. What’s worse, as long as no one interrupted this magic, the summoning would continue endlessly, and the dark creatures arriving later on would be even stronger. Even among Dark Magicians, this magic was absolutely prohibited due to the immense energy required to cast the spell. To Ah Dai’s surprise, it was being used by the Black Robed Magician.

After casting the spell, the lead Black Robed Magician appeared exhausted. He was only able to steady himself with the assistance of an assassin behind him. With a cold sneer, he said, "All the swines of the Empire of Huasheng should die. Divine punishment? Here, I am god. Do you think your Sky God would come to save your pitiful lives? The great demon will devour your souls, you will never ascend." He laughed maniacally, his laughter filled with hatred.

At this moment, the first skeleton had approached Ah Dai. He barely had time to catch his breath when the skeleton’s Bone Knife was already slashing towards him. Faced with this eerie scene, Ah Dai’s heart seized, and the bright white glow of his True Qi suddenly flared up, blocking the dark energy emitted from the skeleton. With a punch, he turned the skeleton into a fine powder under the force of his True Qi. Nonetheless, behind the skeleton were more dark spirits emerging from the black hexagram. In such a short span of time, seven or eight had already appeared.

Just then, purple flames fell from the sky, and the hot energy enveloped the emerging dark spirits. An unpleasant smell infiltrated the air as these creatures of death turned to ashes. At the back door of the Mage Guild, six elderly men wearing various colored Magic Robes appeared. Their faces were solemn and their eyes flickered with anger as they continuously chanted spells. The powerful magic energy radiating from them manifested their formidable strength.

The lead Black Robed Magician was taken aback. His aim for being here was to weaken the power of the Mage Guild, and if possible, exterminate all the magicians within. They had detailed and effective plans. If the ordinarily tranquil Mage Guild were to be ambushed by a large number of assassins, the unprepared magicians would suffer severe losses. However, seemingly blessed by the Sky God, Ah Dai and Yan Shi had arrived just in time. Ah Dai used his excellent martial arts to dissolve the assassins’ attack, preventing their success. What was more unexpected to the Black Robed Magician was that the President of the Mage Guild and the five Elders, who normally resided at other branches, were all here. Facing six magician-level magicians, they wouldn’t be getting off easy. He ordered in a deep voice, "Lads, let’s retreat." The assassins supported the five Black Robed Magicians in their hurried retreat. As he was leaving, he waved his Netherworld Wand and cast an eerie green light towards the black hexagram on the ground.

Multiple dark creatures emerged once again from the black hexagram on the ground. With the reinforcements’ arrival, Ah Dai, driven by his hatred for the Assassin’s Guild, leaped towards the fleeing assassins. The Silver Body in his Dantian emitted intense light, promoting his remaining energy to its peak, and he released yellow energy threads from his hand towards the assassins.

But Ah Dai had forgotten about the black hexagram on the ground. As he was about to jump over it, a huge shadow suddenly emerged from the hexagram. He didn’t have time to dodge it as his chest was hit directly. His True Qi mainly used for attacks thus weakened and the power of the impact led to violent shaking hurting his internal organs. His Guardian Ring shone with a white light to protect his body, but the huge collision caused his chest bones to crackle. If it weren’t for his light armor made from Giant Spirit Snake Skin, his rib cage would have surely fractured by now.

With a deafening thud, Ah Dai’s body hit the solid ceiling of the Mage Guild Hall. He spat out blood sporadically. The faint light from his Silver Body in his Dantian protected his internal organs. The intense pain made Ah Dai feel dizzy. He had never imagined that just after arriving on the continent and becoming powerful, he would be hit severely.

The black shadow that had come out of the black hexagram landed on the ground - it was a Bone Dragon six or seven meters long. If not for the extremely spacious Mage Guild hall, it wouldn’t have been able to accommodate such a huge creature. It was this creature that had created an escape opportunity for the assassins. Before being flung by it, Ah Dai’s energy threads had caught a few assassins. As Ah Dai’s body was flung, those assassins were launched towards the Bone Dragon. The Bone Dragon roared ferociously, caught the assassins with its giant claws, and tore them into pieces without hesitation. The assassins’ blood and flesh sprinkled all around, and the bloody scene made the members of the Mage Guild feel nauseous.
