Chapter 247: Chapter 54 Demon Summoning_5

At this moment, the six old magicians had already completed their magic, and substantial magic energy of different colors was enveloping the Bone Dragon and the black hexagram like multiple barriers. Those dark creatures that had previously drilled out were instantly reduced to ash under the powerful magic. However, what alarmed the magicians was that the massive Bone Dragon seemed unaffected by the magic. Aside from the Earth Magic causing some trouble with its Ground-Crack Rock Surge, the other spells couldn’t make an impact on its pale skeleton.

The Bone Dragon seemed to have been infuriated by the magic, its body suddenly lashing sideways. The bone wings, which couldn’t enable it to fly, continuously flapping, its massive tail sweeping towards a wall to the side. Amidst the thunderous sound, a part of the Mage Guild’s wall, protected by a barrier, immediately collapsed. Thankfully, the Guild had a two courtyard design; otherwise, passersby might have died of fright from the terrifying appearance of the Bone Dragon.

Ah Dai, embedded in the ceiling was now slightly better. He struggled to free himself from the ceiling and felt the Dragon’s Blood in his chest stirring violently. He understood that this was a sign of Sheng Xie awakening. Clear with the fact that he had lost most of his fighting power under the sneak attack of the Bone Dragon, perhaps only Sheng Xie could help. Heavily injured Ah Dai didn’t consider the big surprise Sheng Xie’s appearance would bring to the magicians present. He resolutely chanted the spell of Dragon’s Blood.

Blue faint light came out from Ah Dai’s chest, a loud and clear dragon roar resounded, and the Bone Dragon was slightly startled, looked up at Ah Dai’s direction, a giant grey figure fell from the sky, and amidst a resounding crash, sent the Bone Dragon flying and tumbling into the center of the hall. This giant grey figure was precisely Sheng Xie. Upon consumption of the Gigantic Spirit Snake’s inner core, Sheng Xie appeared to have changed again. The scales on its body glimmered with a silvery-gray light, which was glossier than before. The massive figure, more than four meters long, spread its huge dragon wings. The seven golden pointed horns on its back looked stronger, the golden pupils shooting chill glints.

Adult dragons generally grew longer than fifteen meters. This Bone Dragon, over seven meters long, was the skeleton left from a small dragon after its death, invaded by a soul from the Dark Demon Realm. This enabled it to maintain its powerful strength. Although it had lost consciousness, its inherent dragon instinct told it how powerful this dragon in front of its eyes was. Rocking its enormous skeleton, it didn’t dare to approach due to fear.

All the magicians were stunned. They gazed blankly at the two powerful creatures before them. Sheng Xie didn’t care what the dragon was. Ah Dai was its closest friend, and harming Ah Dai was equivalent to harming itself. Sheng Xie suddenly rushed forward after a tremendous roar, heading right for the Bone Dragon. The Bone Dragon, having lost its physical body, had only ordinary physical attack capabilities. Simultaneously, it also had a strong magical resistance, but how could it ever compare to Sheng Xie’s speed? After consuming the Gigantic Spirit Snake inner core, Sheng Xie’s power had increased substantially. Despite its size being slightly smaller than that of the Bone Dragon, its strength was in no way inferior. Opening its mouth wide, it bit one of the Bone Dragon’s chest bones, tugged it, and suddenly lifted the Bone Dragon’s body. With a swing, it threw the Bone Dragon aside, breaking the bone it had bitten. Two faint golden lights shot from Sheng Xie’s golden eyes, Holy Lightnings zapped out, accurately hitting the horrified green glows inside the skulls of Bone Dragon. The Divine Energy was indeed a nemesis of the Bone Dragon and other dark creatures.

The Bone Dragon issued a miserable hiss. Its whole body was violently shaken. The soul energy in its head was the base maintaining its body. When it was suddenly hit hard, its whole body started to tremble intensely. It curled up, and the previously domineering posture completely disappeared. It lowered its head without daring to look at Sheng Xie, a pitiful sight waiting for death.
