Chapter 245: Chapter 54 Demon Summoning_3

The black-robed magician in the center snorted coldly, raising his emaciated right hand as he motioned in the air, muttering a few spells under his breath. A bizarre occurrence unfolded, the assassin who had committed suicide on the ground suddenly stood up. His face still held the expression of his moment of death as he stretched out both arms, abruptly lunging towards Ah Dai.

Caught off guard, Ah Dai faced enormous pressure and he burst forth in an explosive reaction. Roaring, "Tian Luo Earth Traps," the yellow energy sword in his hand and the persistent battle aura resisting the soul-eroding dark mist abruptly retracted. His hands constantly traced streaks of yellow brilliance in the air. Like threads, strands of solid-state energy emanated out from his every movement with the ever-changing method, weaving into a large net in the sky and casting down towards the assassin and the black fog. This bizarre display frightened the crowd of assassins who rapidly retreated. An assassin who was slower got caught in the light net, his body instantly disintegrated into countless tiny chunks. Without even a single sound, he vanished. That assassin who was initially resurrected as a zombie by the black-robed magician by sacrificing his life suffered the same fate, completely dismembered into chunks of meat. The black fog that was not inferior to Ah Dai’s persistent battle aura a moment go, was inconceivably, upon contact with Tian Luo Earth Traps’ solid-state energy, rapidly melting away like snow meets a blazing fire. The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang wasn’t wrong, the solid-state battle aura that was produced by the ever-changing method was the nemesis of all magic. Ah Dai, disregarding his disgust, with the net’s speed unchanging, directly cast it towards the five magicians at the entrance.

This move, Tian Luo Earth Traps, was one of the three life-saving attacks Sword Saint of the Tian Gang had imparted to Ah Dai. With the current level of Ah Dai’s skill, he could only exert thirty percent of its power. Otherwise, none of those assassins would be able to escape.

The leading black-robed magician gasped in surprise. From his bosom, he produced a black pearl. Framing a strange hand seal with his hands, he bellowed, "Activate.". The black pearl flickered with a bewitching red light and with a sharp crack, it shattered into pieces. A cloud of dark red mist drifted out, heading straight towards the nearby light net with mournful shrieks. Amidst the crackling noises, the light net’s radiance gradually dimmed, and the red fog also disappeared. Ah Dai felt a violent tremor reverberate through the energy he had released. Feeling a heat surge through his body, he spat out a mouthful of blood. Startled, he hurriedly withdrew the remaining energy of the Tian Luo Earth Traps. This all-out attack had depleted almost half of his energy.

The black-robed magician seemed enraged. He said something softly, and the four magicians by his side continued to unleash vast quantities of dark magic bullets at Ah Dai and the others, keeping Ah Dai and the other magicians busy warding off the attacks. The assassins did not rush forward again but silently guarded behind the five black-robed magicians. The leading black-robed magician traced a line in the empty space in front of him with his right hand, and a black fissure immediately appeared in the air. He reached inside and pulled out a magic wand. The look of this staff was starkly peculiar, terrifying even. The staff was pale white, made from a long piece of bone, and a human skull served as the crown of the staff. The eye sockets of the skull flickered with an eerie green light. Unbeknownst to Ah Dai, this wand held a notorious reputation amongst the dark forces, known as the Netherworld Staff. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Dealing with the massive amounts of dark magic bullets was extremely hard for the group. Although most of these magicians were of high rank, their inherent magic attributes were inherently inferior to dark magic, hence eliminating each dark magic bullet took a considerable amount of their magical power. Only with Ah Dai’s ever-changing method could they resist more easily. The four black-robed magicians on the side seemed to possess profound magic level. Under their low, constant incantations, there was no sight of them stopping the magic bullets.

Due to Ah Dai’s use of Tian Luo Earth Traps, his internal energy was rapidly depleted. The silver light of the golden body inside his Dantian had already dimmed. He conjured a small yellow energy shield in each hand to fend off the attack of the dark energy bullets. In order to protect the magicians behind him, over seventy percent of the attacks struck Ah Dai, whose hands were full and had no opportunity to stop the leading black-robed magician.

Just then, two angry roars erupted from outside the door. Several assassins rushed out to confront it. It was Yan Shi and Yan Li who saw the situation here and hurried over. Although they were not weak, they couldn’t rush in against the great number of assassins. They were swinging their weapons, rushing around among the group of assassins. The weapons they wielded contained massive battle aura, and the assassins couldn’t harm them in a short time, creating a stalemate between the two groups.

The leading black-robed magician appeared oblivious to what was happening, and slowly raised the Netherworld Staff in his hand. In a solemn voice, he chanted, "Sleeping souls in the darkness! I summon you under the name of devil Distar, concentrate your immense resentment, come into the world under my guidance, and devour the lives before you." With the completion of the spell, the eye sockets of the skull on the Netherworld Staff emitted a dazzling green light. As the black-robed magician waved it, a three-meter diameter black six-point star appeared on the ground before him. The Mage Guild suddenly became cold and windy, and mournful howls constantly rose from the black six-point star on the ground. The black six-point star suddenly lit up, and a black skeleton climbed out, holding a bone knife, and walked step by step towards Ah Dai and the others. The black six-point star did not stop. One after another, disgusting dark zombies and giant undead warriors crawled out.
