Chapter 1495: Chapter 163: Mad Grim Reaper_3
The young man clad in scale armor slowly lifted his head, his blood-red eyes brimming entirely with murderous intent. A voice as cold and lifeless as death rang out: "Depraved? That word couldn’t be more fitting for this animal." With a wave of his hand, the figure on the ground convulsed once again. Already unconscious from torment, that person no longer bore any semblance to the living—just a husk still clinging to its last breath, indistinguishable from a corpse. That "corpse" was Tiro, the grandson of Governor Teirhaus of Mica Province, responsible for the death of the young girl Tifya. And the one who severed his limbs and tormented him to this unrecognizable state was none other than Ah Dai.
Ah Dai slowly rose to his feet from the ground. Staring coldly at the mangled form of Tiro, he said, "The pain you’ve endured is far too little—a mercy, really. Go to Hell and endure it further." With a sharp swing of his right hand, a silver brilliance flashed. Yida did not even have a chance to intervene before Tiro’s body was reduced to a bloody pulp on the ground.
On the large bed, Rong Rong, entirely naked, had already been scared out of her wits. Her eyes were vacant, and apart from trembling, she could make no other movement. Back then, her grandfather, Governor Fagle of Duru Province, had specifically warned her to stay away from Tiro. Yet she refused to listen, her rebellious nature and longing for male attention leading her to seduce Tiro. Never could she have imagined that being with him would provoke a killing star like Ah Dai. Watching Tiro being tortured to death by Ah Dai, she had no time to regret her decisions.
Seeing Ah Dai kill right before his eyes, Yida bellowed in rage, his longsword enveloped in yellow battle energy as he swung it ferociously at Ah Dai—a strike imbued with the murderous aura of a seasoned warrior.
Though hatred still burned in Ah Dai’s heart, Tiro’s death had lessened much of his bloodlust, clearing his mind significantly. White True Qi radiated outward from his body. With a single palm, he repelled Yida, then floated gracefully onto the bed. Looking at Rong Rong, he said, "Because you’re a woman, I’ll give you a quick death." A flash of silver brilliance erupted, and under the surging battle energy, Rong Rong’s chest caved in completely—a gruesome price for her lust and rebelliousness.
Witnessing Ah Dai kill two people in front of him, Yida’s eyes reddened with fury. His longsword slashed madly toward Ah Dai, while the trusted aides who had accompanied him surrounded Ah Dai from both sides.
Ah Dai said calmly, "Killing you all holds no meaning for me. Farewell." Encased in silver light, every attack dissolved into nothingness. Ah Dai soared skyward, blowing a massive hole through the roof, drifting out of the blood-soaked room.
"Pursue him! Quickly, capture that murderous demon no matter what!" Yida’s furious cries echoed. But could they truly capture Ah Dai? Of course, the answer was no.
Emerging from Tiro’s room, the chilly night wind cleared Ah Dai’s head considerably. He murmured, "Little one, I’ve avenged you halfway. Now, I’ll claim the lives of those two who enabled Tiro’s monstrous acts." He had no idea where Governor Teirhaus of Mica Province was, but from his vantage high in the air, he noticed that soldiers filled every corner of the Governor’s Mansion. Clad in black Giant Spirit Snake Armor and veiled by the darkness, these soldiers failed to spot him. Soaring higher, Ah Dai ascended to a hundred meters above the ground, surveying below. He knew that wherever the soldiers gathered most densely, the Governor would be there. Sure enough, his gaze landed on a courtyard deep within the Governor’s Mansion, where he saw his target—Teirhaus, dressed resplendently, standing with his wife. Shouting and commanding soldiers, his imposing demeanor made it easy for Ah Dai to discern his identity as the Governor ruling over all Mica Province. A cold smile crossed Ah Dai’s face, but he did not immediately charge down. Crossing his hands, a silver spear of energy formed from his True Qi battle power appeared in his grasp.
The sudden appearance of silver light in the sky drew the attention of the soldiers below. Just as they tried to make out what it was, that silver radiance suddenly flared dazzlingly bright, shooting down like lightning. As it neared the Governor’s Mansion, the silver light split into two beams, carrying immense, overwhelming energy as they hurtled directly toward Governor Teirhaus and his wife.
Having trained as a military man, Teirhaus’s honed reflexes sensed danger immediately. The sudden pressure startled him, and he instinctively looked up, only to see the Grim Reaper’s smile. The battle energy shield he hastily conjured shattered like pottery hitting the ground. The silver beam pierced cleanly through his heart with perfect precision. Teirhaus felt a chilling cold in his chest as his life energy drained rapidly. His corpulent body crashed heavily to the ground. In his final moments, he saw his wife’s lifeless body collapse beside him. A voice resounded in their ears simultaneously: "For condoning your grandson’s atrocities, your deaths are well-deserved."
Arrows whistled through the air like a swarm of locusts, raining toward Ah Dai in the sky. However, Ah Dai’s black silhouette vanished abruptly.
After executing two successive Instant Teleportations powered by Goris’ Wish, Ah Dai arrived outside the young girl’s bedroom. The soldiers searching the area felt a sudden shock go through their bodies before collapsing one by one, their meridians sealed by Ah Dai’s threads of True Qi battle power.
With the massive commotion in the Governor’s Mansion, Xiao Huan naturally heard everything from inside her room. However, she did not venture outside. Overcome with grief over Tifya’s death, her body and heart were entirely consumed by sorrow, leaving her indifferent to everything else. When Ah Dai suddenly appeared, his presence startled her. Smelling the blood on him, Xiao Huan trembled from head to toe, murmuring, "You, what did you..."
