Chapter 131: Chapter 31 Elf Catastrophe_2

The male Elf frowned, appearing somewhat hesitant, half a moment later, he said, "If it is proven at the Queen’s place that you truly are friends of our Elf Clan, I, Ya Yuan of the Elf Clan, will sincerely apologize to you. Ruo Ma, get to it." As he called out, a female magician from amongst the Elves’ team flew out, constantly chanting spells in the elvish language. A green light flickered around her, the spell chanting took a while, about the time it took to brew a cup of tea. When the green light completely enveloped her, then she waved her Magic Wand, and a green beam hit a large tree nearby. The tree grew wildly under the injection of magic, seven or eight thick creepy vines crawled towards Ah Dai and others from the ground.

Xuan Yue looked at the thumb-thick vine in awe, saying, "Wow, is this the Elves’ Magic of Nature? It’s so magical!" 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

The creepers quickly slithered in front of everyone, climbing up from under their feet, and soon started entangling their upper bodies. Ah Dai struggled a bit, realizing the vine was full of tenacity, even using the Tang Clan’s martial arts might not necessarily break free. The female Elf known as Ruo Ma stopped chanting the spell after their upper bodies were completely entwined by the vine. She slightly tiredly nodded at Ya Yuan.

Ya Yuan said, "Alright, we can go now, come follow us". Saying this, he led the elves and slowly flew towards the forest.

Being bound by vines wasn’t a comfortable feeling, Yan Li grumbled, "We haven’t visited the Elf clan in a while, I didn’t expect to be tied up the moment we arrived."

Yan Shi gave him a stare, and said, "Maybe you should talk less. When we reach the Elf Queen, she will do us justice." After saying this, he was the first to walk forward.

Xuan Yue didn’t mind being bound by the creepers, because she knew very well, if anything happened, her Phoenix’s Blood could surely cut these vines.

The path in the Elven Forest was very rough, almost no flat land. Everyone was following the Elves deeper into the forest, their steps alternating between deep and shallow. The tall trees covered most of the sunlight, and a burst of coolness permeated within them. The refreshing air they were breathing gave them a pleasant and refreshing feeling.

In a somewhat intoxicated tone, Yan Li said, "This air is really good, even better than ours in the Pu Yan tribe, big brother Yan Shi, the last time we came here was over ten years ago, right?"

On this paradise filled with chirping birds and fragrant flowers, Yan Shi seemed to be in a slightly better mood, lightly nodding, "Yes! The Elven Forest is definitely one of the most beautiful places on the continent. It would be nice if Yun Er was still alive, she would have been very happy to see these." Thinking of his tragically dead wife, Yan Shi felt a pain in his heart and stopped speaking.

Xuan Yue, being the only one who couldn’t use any martial arts among the group, began feeling aching soreness in her legs after walking for a while. Since she couldn’t control balance with her hands, coupled with the rough and uneven road, she tripped and fell all of a sudden. Ah Dai was startled, hastily squatting beside her, but with his hands tied, he couldn’t help her up.

Xuan Yue had never experienced such discomfort, and immediately began to cry. Hearing her cries, everyone stopped. Yue Ji walked over to Xuan Yue and said, "Yue Yue, are you okay?"

Through her tears, Xuan Yue said, "Those Elves are too mean, I’m just a girl, and I don’t know how to use martial arts, how am I supposed to walk? I won’t walk anymore, boo hoo."

Ya Yuan flew back over and reached out to help Xuan Yue. Xuan Yue said sullenly, "Don’t touch me. Disgusting." Ya Yuan paused, only then did he notice that such an angelic young lady existed among the foreigners. Her beauty undoubtedly ranked as a top beauty even among the Elf Clan. Ya Yuan said, "Judging by your appearance, you should be a human magician. Alright, since you don’t seem to have any malicious intent, we’ll remove your bindings, how does that sound?"

Xuan Yue stopped crying and said tearfully, "That’s more like it, do it fast."

Ya Yuan called Ruo Ma over, who took off the vine bindings on Xuan Yue. Xuan Yue sat up, moved around a bit to shake off the residual soreness. When she had fallen just now, her hand had been a bit scratched, and the pain made her tears start flowing again. She began softly chanting the Light Healing Magic. Under the shine of the white light, the small wound on her hand healed instantly.

Ruo Ma landed next to Xuan Yue and said, "Little girl, it’s not good to always use magic to heal wounds, it reduces the body’s immunity. It’s better to let small injuries like this heal naturally."

Xuan Yue pouted her cherry lips and said, "But, but it hurts so much! You don’t look much older than me, don’t call me little girl. I hate it when people tell me I’m little."

Ruo Ma chuckled and said, "Not much older than you? Well, you’re wrong about that. We Elves typically live up to four to five hundred years. I am almost a hundred years old now. Although that’s not considered old among my people, it’s much older compared to you, I believe."

Xuan Yue gasped and pointed at Ruo Ma and said, "You’re almost a hundred years old?"

Ruo Ma nodded cheerfully and said, "Yes, in two years I’ll be a hundred. Once I’m a hundred, I’ll be considered a mature Elf."

Xuan Yue seemed to forget about her fall, and tightly grabbed Ruo Ma’s arm, saying affectionately, "Sister, sister, teach me, how can I still look as beautiful as you when I’m a hundred?" Elves are a race that loves perfection, hearing Xuan Yue’s sincere question, Ruo Ma found herself smiling, "Little sister, this is a matter of lineage, there isn’t really any special method for it!"
