Chapter 1150: Chapter 89 Death Sneak Attack_3
Ah Dai had intended to leave immediately, but he couldn’t bear to part with everything here. Using the green spring behind the cottage, he spent an entire day cleaning the cottage from top to bottom. Then, he retrieved three notebooks from Goris’s underground chamber and buried them deep within the orchard, fashioning a wooden marker that read: "The Tomb of the Great Alchemist Goris," and inscribed beneath it, "In tears, his disciple Ah Dai." After completing these tasks, as darkness fell, Ah Dai did not return to the cottage but instead accompanied Goris’s tomb in the orchard and began to meditate for the first time since his arrival.
The Silver Body that had not been activated for a long time gradually began to circulate, and Ah Dai discovered that, although he had not been consciously cultivating, the innately endless cycles of his fighting spirit had not diminished—in fact, there had been some progress. The second Golden Body in his chest still emitted a faint glow. After a night of cultivation, Ah Dai was surprised to find that there seemed to be a bridge between the two bodies that allowed communication. Although the Silver Body could not control the energy of the second Golden Body, due to their ability to interchange, he absorbed energy from the second body much faster than before. Merely in one night, he felt as if his power had increased.
After completing his practice and as daylight broke, Ah Dai quietly knelt in front of Goris’s grave, gently stroking the "Goris’s Wish" on his wrist, murmuring, "Teacher, I’m leaving now. I hope you like it here, surrounded by fruit trees. When you’re hungry, you can absorb some of the Spiritual Energy here. Teacher, no matter when, you will always have the most important place in Ah Dai’s heart. You will forever be the teacher I respect the most." Tears fell quickly, seeping into the soil, and Ah Dai took a deep breath, wiping away the tears that had unknowingly streamed down his face, and stood up. A cold glint flashed in his eyes as he gently touched the Sword of Hades at his chest, vowing with hatred, "Assassin’s Guild, I’m coming for you. Uncle Owen’s vengeance, I will surely claim it."
After a simple packing of the items he needed to take from the cottage, wearing a set of clean commoner’s clothes, Ah Dai stepped out of the cottage, gazing deeply at the familiar scenery around him. With a sigh, his grey figure leapt into the air, taking the familiar paths away from his home and heading towards the outside of the Illusive Forest. After careful study of Goris’s notes, the paths of the Illusive Forest no longer posed a challenge to him. Quickly, he passed through the traps set by Goris, rushing rapidly onward.
A familiar stench suddenly filled Ah Dai’s nose, and with a thought, he soared high, as a white figure darted beneath him. Turning towards the attacker, as he suspected, it was the same White Tiger he had encountered when he first returned. It was glaring at him with a pair of fierce, shining eyes, softly growling.
Ah Dai helplessly shook his head, "Didn’t I tell you, you can’t eat me. Go on and be the King of the Forest. Alright, I’m leaving, don’t keep bothering me, otherwise, I won’t be so courteous."
The gaze of the White Tiger suddenly softened considerably, it growled softly, seemingly trying to communicate something. Ah Dai looked at it and saw the White Tiger lying prostrate on the ground, gently shaking its large head, showing an expression of pain. Ah Dai tentatively asked, "Are you feeling discomfort somewhere? Can I help you with something?"
The intelligent King of the Forest understood Ah Dai’s words, nodded with its big head, showing a pleading look. Its pitiful appearance softened Ah Dai’s heart. He floated down beside the White Tiger, knowing that with the tiger’s strength, it was not enough to harm him, so he wasn’t overly cautious. Gently patting the White Tiger on its head, he said, "What’s wrong, King of the Forest?"
Suddenly, the White Tiger opened its enormous maw, startling Ah Dai into instinctively stepping back. However, the tiger did not bite at him, but instead kept its mouth wide open. Ah Dai looked into its maw and saw that the last tooth on the right side had turned black, with a trickle of yellow pus flowing from it, and he immediately realized the root of the White Tiger’s pain.
"So, you have a toothache! Don’t move, let me take a look." Saying this, Ah Dai approached the White Tiger, carefully inspecting the blackened tooth which seemed damaged and was wobbling slightly due to the White Tiger’s trembling.
Ah Dai frowned and said, "Brother Tiger, this tooth of yours is decayed, let me pull it out for you. It’s already inflamed, and if not removed, you’ll be in even more pain later on."
With its mouth open, the White Tiger lightly nodded its head. Ah Dai stroked its soft, shiny fur and softly said, "Bear with the pain, it’ll be over quickly." The yellow-green fighting spirit qi carefully wrapped around the blackened tooth under Ah Dai’s control. When the qi touched the tooth, the White Tiger involuntarily shuddered, clearly in great pain. Fearing that it might suddenly close its jaws, Ah Dai used his white fighting spirit to prop open the tiger’s mouth, also enveloping its body to prevent any movement. He then transformed the qi into a small loop, cautiously fitting it over the black tooth. "Brother Tiger, I’m going to start now, endure it for a moment." Ah Dai willed it, and the qi pulled forcefully, a massive black tooth was pulled from the White Tiger with a painful groan, falling to one side, while yellow pus continued to ooze from the gap. Ah Dai didn’t stop; he fashioned a straw-like device with his transformed qi, continuously drawing out the yellow pus from the White Tiger’s mouth with True Qi, making it drip onto the ground.
