Chapter 212: Lethality of a Hive Mind
Seth’s gene skill Absolute Weapon Resonance flaring to life he has instantly felt a revitalising chill permeate through his cells.
The boost coursed through him the reach of his Gene skill being enhanced.
The shadows bubbled as another dozen humanoid dark clones crawled their way out, each bearing a higher percentage of his strength bordering on 60%.
Glancing at the new clones Seth nodded to himself feeling more assured, as long as his will was fluid and could last long enough he should be able to win this.
A purple currently blazed as his pupils spilled Amethyst lights, in that instant the unimaginable happened in sync. Seth and all his dark clones stretched out their arms.
Above it hovering in a circle was the Xenon sphere, at least in Seth’s hand but in his clone’s hands?
Bobbing in its place as a replication of a small sphere of pure darkness, to which his will is able to manifest a perfect replication of the Sphere’s powers.
This is the same with all of his items, with his will being able to morph to fit any path, Seth could adeptly manifest the pure current of formless darkness to replicate any and all of his items and abilities.
This was basically an advanced usage of the Force Embodiment...
With a rippling splash, the liquid metal sphere burst into a silvery streaming mass slowly finding a myriad of items...
Sand particles filling the air streamed into his lungs as the stormy sound Cloud was now so close it blocked the Sun.
The silhouettes of the Immortal King Legion marching forward in a synchronised beat, Seth let his mind freely wander, giving him more control over the clones.
A pair of massive silver Warhammers formed in Seth’s grasp as his essence trait "Burden Of Will" washed over the weapon, its weight instantly tripling.
With his clones manifesting myriad weapons all surging towards different angles, one could see Seth didn’t enter this battle with all brawn and no brain.
His main body spun through the air as his massive Warhammers whipped through the wind reducing the plated figures into a shattered mess on each impact.
He was basically unstoppable as his form tore through his opponents’ defenses reducing their count on each swing.
He could feel the slight dwindling in activity of the Bronze cells, Seth grimaced, His time was ticking.
From myriad fronts, Seth’s Dark clones tore through the marching forces of Legion, the foe putting up quite the fight.
Not only was the guy every bit as efficient as Seth feared he was even better seeing from millions of eyes, but the mental capacity of a thousand minds also shared as one, Seth had to force his way through with raw power.
With Force Embodiment helping his will sustain its unlimited trait, his calculation output was tripled and his dark clones retained a high amount of battle IQ and intelligence.
Allowing them to be smart enough to alert the main body when they were in danger and Seth could just instantly swap places with them hammer smashing.
And like that, the army of 25 worked with a crazy synchronised efficiency, as the hint clearly expressed that Seth could only win this in numbers and that was exactly what he was doing.
His mind processes Myriad visual inputs, there’s also the multi-auditory sorting.
Seth had to navigate the apex senses of 25 awakened bodies, yet with his Racial Bind Trait Intelligence, leaning with efficiency.
Seth was able to manipulate all his clones all with a singular mind though it caused strain on his intelligence and will stats, it was definitely worth it.
With him controlling all their bodies the battle became more like a chessboard.
A sharp sting jolted his mind affecting the synchronized movement of all his clones and even his main body.
One of his clones had been beheaded, the armoured Knight of the hive mind just stared down blankly at the diffusing shadows.
"You’re not the King!" The alien monotone voice cracked through the Sandy haze, its head snapped upwards, as Seth felt the scan of myriad eyes.
"Who is your ruler?"
Seth’s heart palpitated heavily, the ruler in this case would be his main body.
Seth swallowed as he resumed movement, being pushed into the defensive, his dark clones being slowly ensnared by a number of furious knights.
They almost got his main body several times fortunately he was able to swap cleanly through it all.
Among the clones, he focused on three specific ones to escape, with him quickly switching locations among them he escaped to the other end of the sandstorm free of Legion.
The wind howled savagely, the gales whipping around furiously the sand particles they carried, making it more dangerous.
Seth endured the sharp blistering stings, diving deeper into the Sandy mist, burning more essence as shadows hiding in the storm bubbled as more dark clones crawled out to replace the slain.
Recovering in numbers, Seth felt a sharp plunge in energy as. The dull bronze glow coating the outer layer of his skin dimmed, the bronze reaction slowly subsiding.
Without these stats, he wouldn’t be able to maintain the boost of the gene skill Absolute Weapon Resonance to his body.
Cause the strain of buffing a human wasn’t something his essence or will could sustain.
Each gene skill fed on an absurd influx of essence, shaped by will, with the bronze reaction his will and essence were infected with the Infinite potential trait of the human race.
Allowing him to draw on an unending well of essence and unquenchable will.
With the seconds counting against him, Seth knew he had to somehow end things in such a short little time.
Both Seth and his clones swerved, as they drifted into impact from an off angle catching the Legion of Guard by the unexpected attack.
This time Seth moved with his dark clones as one brutal efficient slaughtering machine.
Each retreated and pressed with such active timing that they all essentially moved as one body.
Now accustomed to the dysmorphia of navigating through several perspectives, his weapons tore through Legion and this time he gave his foe no chance to recover.
With Seth constantly bombarding them with attacks the Ability of hand of tide streaming through all the clones.
Mastering the principles of ti
de, Seth and his clones pressed with the unrelenting intensity of waves crashing endlessly
