Chapter 152: The Bronze Human Body

Seth shook his head, wearing a wry smile. He naturally had his doubts, but at least now they had been confirmed.

Sighing helplessly, he examined the Booster Shot and the light violet serum within.

’Wonder what the formula is...’ he thought with a curious glint.

But in the end, his interest waned, and he pocketed the injection gun back into his inventory.

Now that he was finally done, it was about time he sensed the changes that came with the racial upgrade more intimately.

But a blaring flash of notification later, his priorities shifted...

[Congratulations! Flash Sale has been detected!!]

[Will be commencing in: 00h: 06m: 49s]

’Sigh... I can’t wait for the next upgrade. How many more seeds will it take?’ he thought worriedly.

The flash sale system had devoured nine seeds so far, and there were still no changes of note.

The system had barely even reacted. Aside from prompting him to devour the vile blights, there was nothing else.

And right now, Seth was in need of powerful items — not only for personal purposes, but if humanity was going to win this war, more items like the mech log book he had just given the president would help them a lot.

Once the system upgraded, not only would the frequency of flash sales increase, but the quality of goods being sold would be higher.

He licked his dry lips at the thought. ’I will be clearing a lot more zones, then...’ he decided.

After all, corruption seeds were the only method he knew for now that could cause the flash sale system to upgrade.

Glancing down at the timer, all digits clocked zero. The flash sale had come.

He rubbed his hands, feeling giddy like a kid about to open a present, as the banner unfolded before his eyes!

[Flash Sale for "Stellar March Cavalry Pack!" Begins Now!]

[Awakened Rank!]

[Details will be available on purchase!]

[Price: 209,007 Fp]

[Available Balance: 4,872,901 Fp]

[Timer: 00h: 00m: 02s]

[Purchase? Y/N]

"Now we’re talking!" Seth’s lips stretched so wide you’d think he was changing into a Bloodborne.

It took every strand of will to stop himself from laughing out loud from excitement.

His eyes glimmered at the sight of that name...

It provoked the same ethereal presence as his first flash sale — the Grim Emperor’s Executioner’s Legendary Set!

Seth did not hesitate in the slightest, his finger plowing through the purchase button.

[Congratulations on Purchasing Stellar March Cavalry Pack!!!]

[Details: The full package of Stellar March Cavalry Elite! This special package contains all necessary instruments to become an Elite of the Stellar March Cavalry!]

"Hehehe, I was so fucking right!" Seth flashed his teeth. This flash sale really was similar to the Grim Emperor’s Executioner’s Legendary Set, just as he assumed.

Like his first flash sale, which sold him multiple items as a full set, this one came in a package instead.

Licking his dry lips in anticipation, he leaned forward as he focused more on the details. More information pressed out!

[The Stellar March Cavalry Package Contains!:]

- Celestial Nova Steroid Lance!

- Divine Stellar Rider Armour Set!

- Gene Skill Crystal: Astral Charge!

- Mythic Unique Class Path for Divine Cavalry Knight!

- Combat Mount Egg: Star Threader (Gold Hooves Variant)

- Combat Mount Armour: Star Shade!

Euphoria flooded Seth’s mental pathways. He rubbed his hands together incessantly as he read.

This flash sale sold him a package that gave him various items, a combat mount, a gene skill crystal, and a freaking mythic unique class path!

He quickly summoned the emerald Oracle Crystal...

"Are there any other methods of getting a class without going to a Trade Center?" His eyes flashed attentively as he asked this question.

[Naturally yes, Host! A class can also be gained through inheritance, mostly for unique classes.

And there are those that can be gained after completing hidden requirements, mostly for gene classes.

Then there are events where you can meet trade masters in special locations outside of the Trade Center. Classes bestowed this way are special classes.]

Seth’s eyes flashed as he quickly digested the information. This was a mythic-grade class, and he was really tempted — hence why he asked this question.

He clasped his hands, resting the bridge of his nose and lips on them, as he carefully pondered.

Which path did he want to take?

Honestly, he wasn’t quite sure, but he was open to options.

So while he wasn’t sure what path he wanted to take, he knew the paths he had to avoid at all costs.

For one, he would never accept a rigid path. This wasn’t suited to his abilities in any way.

His gene skill Absolute Weapon Resonance was one of his greatest aces that defined his battle style.

Meaning his core form of combat was being versatile!

But looking at this mythic class, it didn’t seem versatile at all. Thus, the allure wasn’t there.

"Can a class be changed?" he quickly asked.

[No. Except during brief intervals of ascending zones, changing classes is near impossible.

Classes, once chosen, define your path. It is branded to your soul. Changing it will come with disastrous results!]

Seth shook his head, sighing helplessly at this reply. All eagerness and excitement he had felt initially faded away.

It was obvious what he’d be doing with this package... he’d be giving it away.

No matter how reluctant he felt or how much he wished he could choose this class, he just couldn’t.

He had a feeling that waiting it out would get him something better and more suited to his path.

But this... this wasn’t him. Even if he had a double class slot, he wanted classes that complemented each other.

Classes that, once both were utilized, his prowess would peak at staggering levels.

Seth once more let out a pained sigh. This was his first disappointing flash sale.

But it wasn’t due to the quality — it just wasn’t suitable for him.

He could just take the items and the combat mount, but he felt that would damage the overall value of the package.

Everything was meant to complement each other. Only by combining all could its true might be experienced.

Plus, the weapon in particular had a requirement of soul bonding before it could be used.

Meaning once he used it, no one else could touch it, for it would be bonded through souls. This could only be wielded by his hands.

He massaged his forehead with his hands. ’Sigh... all that excitement for nothing.’
