Lillian stared down at him strangely.

She had expected this sort of behaviour but... just staring as he clutched his stomach with a pleasant smile on his face...

Lillian wasn’t sure but it was an odd sight to her. Maybe it was because he was a dude instead of a hot woman.

Well... that isn’t to say he wasn’t quite attractive. In fact, he was quite the eye candy.

He was around 5ft10 and had quite an androgynous appearance. However, he was just masculine enough to appear as a man.

Although he was a bit strange...

’This guy’s family is pretty rich... let’s try and have a good relationship with him.’

Lillian felt it would be wrong to pass up the chance of having another probable source of funds.

Lillian bent over and pushed her hand out to him.

Killean, after writhing on the ground, stared at her hand before tremblingly holding onto it.

After that, Lillian pulled him up to his feet and patted his shoulder with a smile.

"Your stomach alright?"

Killean softly nodded back, patting his abdomen with reassurance, "All fine. My body is somewhat used to taking a beating..." he chuckled.

Lillian stared at him with deadpan eyes and a crooked smile, "Ah... is that so?"

"Do you perhaps not believe me?" he asked with a hand under his chin.

"No no... I believe you," she responded before thinking. ’I definitely believe you...’

She then took a curious glance across the Colosseum—specifically the Paragon’s portion of it.

Nothing particularly exciting was happening, especially when it was only limited to physical abilities.

She took a look at Millis, who was prancing around her opponent and dodging their swings with ease before knocking their weapon out of their hands.

Lillian watched this scene and mulled over a certain thought. Had Millis truly been taking the exam seriously? Or was she seriously been playing around the entire time?

She shook her head and turned her attention to the next person of interest.

The Second Prince had a bored expression as he roamed the Colosseum with his hands in his pockets.

The way he moved was quite sluggish and dramatic. However, Lillian knew it was because of the Prince’s poor lack of sleep since it was such a key part of his character.

Anyway, she also realised that everyone around him seemed hesitant to come up and challenge.

This was something that caused her face to twitch. How come he was excluded from being picked and yet she wasn’t? If she recalled correctly, wasn’t she the one who scored first?

She then thought about it for a moment and found it to make sense.

She was, after all, being tossed around like the ragdoll the entire time, unlike the Prince who was dominating in the exam before coming face-to-face with the Lady of Roses.

Lillian then turned her gaze towards Marionette as it seemed there was someone brave enough to challenge her.

... Or perhaps were too scared to reject her proposal of a duel.

And it was safe to say that Marionette was completely overpowering him as they were disarmed and simultaneously tossed several times against the ground.

Each time they seemed to suggest surrendering, she was seen flicking back their weapon and instigating another duel with them.

Lillian’s eye twitched as she slowly turned away from her.

’If this is her way of getting through the hour of this class... then I’m not one to stop her.’

It wasn’t that she couldn’t... she was more or less afraid of fighting against her again. Not because Marionette would wipe the floor with her... but because it would somewhat lower her reputation a little.

’I rather be seen as constantly winning instead of losing...’

This was the sort of mentality she had when playing games with ranking systems. Whenever she got too high, she would go back down to the lower ones and just get a "few" win-streaks.

Although it was a bit shameless, she did comfort herself in the fact that there were way too many "sweaty" players.

’Wait... wasn’t I one of them too?’ she deliberated before shrugging, ’Nah... I had a job. Less time to play compared to those basement dwellers.’

She turned back towards Killean and saw him holding his hand out to her with an ecstatic look on his face.

"My name is Killean Cran Markslon. The next heir after my brother. I’m glad you accepted my duel!"

Lillian stared at him with brief surprise before softly smiling at him. She clutched his hand and shook it.

"Lillian. Lillian Ker Arius. But I guess you know that at this point." she chuckled.

Killean nodded before grabbing onto her with both hands and staring at her with an expectant look.

"May we please have another duel?"

Lillian stared down at their hands before up at him and slowly nodded.

"Uhh... sure, Mr Mar—"

"You can just call me by my first. I’m not one to nitpick at such a thing." he smiled brightly before letting go of her hand.

Lillian’s eyes narrowed at how bright it was, "Is that so? Then let me get into my stance first and then we can begin."

She turned her body around and walked—not expecting to be stopped by a soft wall.

Lillian paused for a moment before sighing, leaning into it a bit before staring up and into Marionette’s eyes with an unsurprised look in her eyes.

"You’re done already?" Lillian asked, referring to Marionette’s duel earlier.

In response, Marionette tilted her head slightly to the side with a raised brow before tilting it back and nodding.

"Yes... Is it surprising?"

Lillian shrugged, "I guess not." she then pushed herself off of her.

"So what are you doing over here?"

"... Am I not allowed to be near you?"

"Huh?"

Lillian stared at her with a deadpan expression.

"I know for a fact that isn’t your reason. Otherwise, you would’ve been playing around with that person for an hour."

Marionette rolled her eyes.

"Let’s train now."
